but if they think he is good enough to keep they shouldn't really about that much amount, they are making a hundred times that every season anyway.
Imo they would not bid just a little higher to acquire Perisic from inter, they can, but they would not want to because they do not value Perisic, he is definitely not a priority in their plans, they may want him probably as a back up option in the team and for a back up they'll feel that price is fair.

They could also maybe want to stick to that price to see if inter in the end would resolve to sell him to them at that, since Inter also do not want him; we're also coming out of a long halt to soccer, all clubs suffered losses including Bayern, this could be few of the many reasons why they don't want to bid higher and get Perisic.

about possibility full transfer with €15m, this is the best option for Inter i Think. If they are not really need Perisic, of course they wouldn't hold players to be sell with their price, maybe the deal will happen between €15-17m.

Yeah thats how journalism actually works because if you just make stuff up according to a source, you do not have any liability at all. So lets say Juventus called Pep to and asked "hey we know you are not going to EU next year, wanna come over?" and pep said "no", thats literally a reason for a newspaper to write a headline of "IS PEP GOING TO JUVENTUS!" because thats enough. In reality you look at it and it is obvious that he said no, but in journalism even the question itself could be enough, you can deny not knowing the answer. Plus if you write about everything eventually some will stick, so you will be the earliest if you just write about it even at the thought stage without anyone taking any actions about it at all.

Many journalists here in Italy said Lautaro to Barca was a deal done 2 weeks ago even if for is not official.
Barca has the accord with the player, the player wants to leave.

Inter want the payment of the clause 111m€ Barca is trying to put players on the payment cause they don't have money.
Inter is refusing this option, they want full money.
Barca seems to have offered Vidal in the part of the deal, wanter in the last session for Conte.

Barca wants to make the trio Messi Lautaro Neymar for the next season, the money will be created exchanging players.

@Juggy777 avoid to read the Sun is a trash paper full of fake news

It's not really 'fake' as in fake.  Some of them are based on the truth but not entirely confirmed.  Just like the Pep to Juve rumor.  I mean there could be some possibility to that but if you put all the pieces together the probability it happens goes down.  Still sticking to my Pep's deep respect towards Begiristain and Soriano argument.

I don't know, is 3 million really that big of a deal for these teams at all? I get that this is a financial thing and eventually you want to make good financial decisions but 18 million looks like its nothing for these teams so I don't understand the difference between spending 18 million on perisic and just loaning him, it shouldn't be that much of a deal to them is it.

I mean Bayern pays more than that to Neuer just for his salary, let alone transfer fee if he had one. I am not saying perisic worths any of this, but if they think he is good enough to keep they shouldn't really about that much amount, they are making a hundred times that every season anyway. Or better yet, they could find a better player, there are tons out there, sure could worth more but at least would be much better than him.

From what I heard, Bayern offered Inter less money for Perisic.
If Inter doesn't accept this reduced offer, Perisic returns to Inter.
Since Inter doesn't want him, he will most likely go on loan to another club in that case.

Concerning Ivan Perišić I just read the following news. It looks like you are right, another loan might be an option. The source is the Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport:

Inter will agree to loan Ivan Perišić to Bayern for another season provided that the German club agree to a €15m obligation to buy as part of the deal. Inter will still try and flog Perišić to Bayern this Summer and are ready to drop the price down to €18m. [@Gazzetta_it]

How about Ivan Perisic? I read the news if Bayern still not make a decision for this player. When he came from Inter to Bayern last summer with loan status, AFAIK from that deal also included buy out clause for 20m Euro's. It's possible to Perisic back to Inter or will be another option?

I also think that Lautaro Martinez is a promising player with many skills and with the great opportunity to join Barça.

Messi said: "I think I already mentioned it, that Lautaro is an impressive striker, especially because I think he is a very complete forward.

"He is strong, he dribbles well, he scores goals, he knows how to protect the ball ...

"But well, we will have to see what happens finally with him and with other players."

What's the general consencus on Lautaro Martinez here? Is he "Barcelona level" of good? or is he just another "overrated by the press" promising player?
He is just another overrated "promising" player. It would be wasteful signing by Barca in my opinion just like most of their recent signings

The lack of playing opportunities that Gonzalo Higuain gets keeps him linked to the exit of Juventus, especially he was reluctant to return to Italy and chose to accompany his mother in his native land.

According to Goal report, Higuain is said to have almost certainly left the J Stadium and will continue his football career in the United States.

Higuain was a great player but he’s getting older now so a move to the MLS might suit him, he’ll get paid a lot & it’s an easier, lower standard out there.

I never understand, why Juventus gave so much money for Higuain. I can't remember him playing a more significant role after moving from Napoli. It is a waste of money received from Pogba's transfer.

With Higuain, there are different possibilities
  • One more year until the end of his contract with Juventus
  • Going in Argentina to River Plate
  • Going on the USA with his brother
  • Going on Spain with Athletic Bilbao

Those are the possibilities so far he has.

is he leaving now for free or Juventus can expect some money for his transfer?
whatever, they will save some money from his salary.

It looks like FC Bayern is also interested in the 16 year-old midfielder Benicio Boaitey. Liverpool, Manchester United and FC Barçelona are also interested in signing him. Boaitey has declined another contract with West Ham United and is expected to leave the club in the summer.

Bayern are among several top teams showing interest in highly rated West Ham United starlet Benicio Boaitey (16) [@SPORT1]

I just wish Real Madrid never wasted their money on Hazard and Jovic, and instead prepared ti buy Mbappe and Haaland. I know one of the deals might go through, but Real Madrid might not be able to land on both players thou It would be a  nice dream to get both of them. If i was to choose between the 2, I would choose Mbappe.

As a Barca supporter I always hope to see Real splash more and waste more. I know they get good players, but usually overpriced IMO (and yes we've done the same thing too) but I can't wait to see them run themselves into the ground with expenses. I actually do hope you get Mbappe and Haaland AND overpay for both;)

@JeromeTash I’m not sure about Jovic but if Madrid can get Hazard back in shape, and keep him fit then he’ll be a nightmare for all the defenders. @slaman29 I don’t think RM is buying Mbappe or Haaland in this summer transfer window, because they’re only keen to buy Pogba, however the big question remains will Manchester United agree to sell him?.

Quote

Real Madrid will prioritise signing Paul Pogba ahead of Erling Haaland, according to AS.

Dortmund sensation Haaland remains an option in the future, however, and the speculate the Norwegian will become a priority in the summer of 2022.

AS also suggest that United will go in for Jadon Sancho with the money in their pocket from the sale of Pogba, who has also been linked with a return to Juventus.

Considering the age difference, I doubt PSG or Barcelona would be interested in a swap deal. Author and Veratti are 23 and 27 respectively, and are both mainstays at their clubs. Pjanic (30 years) is good fit at either club but a swap deal is unlikely to happen, the player however seems keen on a move to Barcelona, one of the names that have been rumoured to be open to a swap deal is Jean-Clair Tobido who is currently on loan from Barcelona at Schalke.

Teams will do a lot of swap on the next 2 markets sessions with overvaluations of players and no money spent.

This is the only way they have to generate fake money to be safe for the Financial Fair Play and the COVID crisis.

For example Juve and Barca could swap those 2 players for 60m and both teams will be happy signing a +50m € for the Financial Fair Play.

To me on these sessions we will see a lot, A LOT of these exchanges.
