Liverpool are lining up Rangers boss and former Reds captain Steven Gerrard to replace manager Jurgen Klopp, who could be tempted to become Germany's manager if the job becomes available. Is the end of this magnificent collaboration between Klopp and Liverpool approaching?

~snip~

Liverpool really have had a very good collaboration with Klopp for a long time. Maybe they are not very good this season but every big team undergo this kind of periods sometimes. And I think it is definitely not related to Klopp. I wonder what Gerrard will do if this replacement happens. Lampard couldn't do much good at Chelsea. Will we see a similar thing with Gerrard too? Or will he manage the team nicely?

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola's uneasy relationship with agent Mino Raiola will not prevent the club from trying to sign his 20-year-old client, Norway striker Erling Braut Haaland, from Borussia Dortmund. That relationship probably won’t even help the club to conclude this valuable deal.
Real Madrid believe 22-year-old Norway midfielder Martin Odergaard, who is on loan at Arsenal, has a big part to play for them in the future. Will Odergaard ever get the right opportunity at Real?

According to rumours, Manchester Utd are targeting Milan's 27-year-old midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu for the next season as his contract is going to expire at the end of this season. They will have a chance to watch him in Manchester Utd-Milan draw in the Europa League.

Transfer rumours:

RB Leipzig boss Julian Nagelsmann would be interested in a move to Tottenham, should the Premier League club decide to replace Jose Mourinho. Will the "special one" survive this season at Tottenham?
England striker Harry Kane, is set to stay at Tottenham for at least another year. This is great news for Tottenham fans.
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has been given the green light by the club to sign in-demand Norway striker Erling Braut Haaland from Borussia Dortmund. The Bundesliga club, however, doubt the 20-year-old will want to join the Premier League side. There is quite a crowd around Haaland and it will be interesting to follow this saga and in which club he will end up.

Source: https://www.bbc.com/sport/56214737
The thing about Nagelsmann was confirmed by german newspapers as well (something like de bild or something if I am not wrong) and it was said in reddit that his manager (even managers have managers? lol) would probably mean that it was leaked so that teams could calculate how much fans react to it, so if Tottenham fans read that news and say "oh wow that would be good" that means Tottenham and go ahead and fire Mourinho and get Nagelsmann but if fans react in a bad way about this, they could totally just decline the truth of it and not do it.

I believe Mourinho has been a bit underwhelming and he needs to find another challenge because this has been a bad season for him but last year wasn't good neither, he hasn't really been good at all and he has been going even worse this year. Haaland deal may not happen only because there are much much bigger teams than Chelsea that wants Haaland too so player may wait news about those teams first.

According to PSG sporting director Leonardo, PSG are preparing for extending Mbappe's contract. I think Mbappe would like to continue to be a part of this club and he would agree on a new deal. If PSG manage to do it before the next transfer window, the plans of every club that want to sign him will go titanic.  Grin

Mbappè wants to leave for Real for many years now.
He always loved them and if will not extend this year he will never do since he will go near the end of his contract with PSG.

I don't think PSG is an end squad for players, they want to leave in Barca, Real etc.

PSG and Inter both are looking at signing Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum who is now at 30 and he will be availble for free this summer.
PSG also closing on renewing both Neymar and Mbappe contract.
Dortmund are looking at Manchester United keeper Dean Henderson as potentiel summer transfer. the 23yo is valuated at 20M euros.
Actually I admire the way he plays for Liverpool. You don't see many midfielders play like him in English Premier League, he knows how to keep the ball very well in a positive manner (not side to side he always goes up and up) and at the same time press.

Would love him at Barcelona actually, I think he and Messi would work and weave out of defence easily.
Honestly Barcelona would be not an ideal place for him, I think by far the best place for him would be Bayern and easily, because dude is known for direct football which Bayern plays better than anyone played in history, they have been awesome at it for nearly a decade. Inter could work if you force it hard enough but PSG would be amazing as well, not because they play that kind of football but because they have awesome players so they could definitely use someone like him.

Barcelona is a tiki taka team and they just pass to whoever is open, as long as you pass to someone open and you do not lose the ball that means you are not giving the ball to other team, you know tiki taka, and Wijnaldum is not that kind of player, he rarely ever passes back, so he will help with a lot of goals but he will also lose a lot of balls and cause possessions as well.

If I remember it right, it should be "image rights" but yes you are right. It was an obstacle ahead of him but there is none now. I think there won't be any other problem happening this time and in my opinion we may probably see him at an English club next season.

I can see now even more clearly what can happen.

Dybala expiration date is 30/06/2022
Pogba expiration date is 30/06/2022

They have the same age, an exchange for 70m each is a good move for everyone.

For Dybala, a fresh start.
Juventus, need money for the Financial Fair play.
For Pogba, he is loved in Turin.
For Manchester United, they avoid losing Pogba for 0.

Yesterday we heard Aaron Boupendza is going to Krasnodar for a fee of 8.5 million Euro but today this transfer fell. He wanted to stay in Hatayspor, that's surprising. Maybe they have a better plan for summer transfer window. In case you don't know Boupendza is the most goalscorer in Turkish Super League right now. He has spectacular goals this season, the striker every team wants. I'm pretty sure Hatayspor will get more money for Boupendza in summer.

According to the news, Dybala's future at Juventus is uncertain for now and it seems very likely that he could be sold this summer. If my memory doesn't fail me, Tottenham were so close to sign him in the year 2019. This time, we may see him in the Premier League and maybe he can play much better there.

Yes, the deal did not happen because the players got a 30m € dispute for "imagine rights" I don't know it is the English's correct term.

He won the legal thing and now he has no more this problem.

Haaland, Mbappe and Alaba are rumored to join fc barcelona if Toni Freixa is elected as new president Shocked

I'm not sure we need Messi on a team like this. After all, there are better players for that position at the moment. Even now Messi barely plays for Barcelona. And with this squad I think there will be another player here who is stronger than Messi.
This is just a pipe dream lol! I dont think Barcelona have enough money to buy such players. The only way they manage to get Haaland(who is also linked with Chelsea and other EPL clubs) and Mbbape(who wants his contract to match Neymar) is by selling Messi. Which obviously is not happening. Maybe they can 2 way transfer with Messi going to PSG and Mbbape going to Barcelona but then again, already player exchanges are kinda rare and that too of Messi leaving Barcelona, even though he wants to.. is pretty low.

Edit: Also, why is the poll still running? Pochettino is already at PSG.

@Red Pie De Gea is indeed a good goal keeper but lately he’s been absolutely poor, and due to that Manchester United have dropped many points, hence I do expect him to be sold at the end of the season.

I wonder where De Gea will go if he leaves Manchester Utd this summer. Back in the days, Real Madrid were interested in him but now they have Courtois. It wouldn't be logical to have two great goalkeepers at the same time. I hope that we can continue to see him at a big club if he leaves. Every player gets through bad times but it doesn't make them a too bad player at once.
I think he does not leave England.  Again, a great club in England may be interested in De Gea.  Maybe if an offer comes from Italian clubs, or his home country can get a deal with a big club in Spain.  it will be clear this summer.

I also think that he may not leave the Premier League. I actually would like to see him at Chelsea. I think Edouard Mendy and Kepa are both not good enough to be the main goalkeeper of this club. They need a really great goalkeeper like De Gea. I don't know whether they would be interested in him but it could be a good move for De Gea I think.

I have seen in this source that Liverpool, Manchester Utd and Tottenham all are after him now. It will be the best for Dybala to leave Juve as he doesn't play good there. If he goes to Tottenham, he can play behind Kane as second striker in the place of Lamela. At Manchester Utd, he can't play behind centre-forward as B. Fernandes is there. He can play as CF if he plays well. At Liverpool, he can play behind the CF as Wijnaldum also will possibly be leaving the team this summer.

I guess the contract extension of Jamal Musiala at FC Bayern will be announced within the next days. The current market value of the 17 year-old midfielder is about €24m and there are rumors that he will extend his contract until 2026.

Quote
Jamal Musiala's new Bayern contract until 2026 is almost ready - only last details are missing. Initially the plan was to sign on his 18th birthday this Friday, but it could be delayed to next week [@Sky_MaxB]

If Bayern manages to retain Musiala until 2026, that's great news for the team's future. I am excited!
