How do you really reckong that going to another team is "disrespectful"? When teams sell their players to whoever they want that gives them right amount of money everything is fine because that is the club, but when the player wants out you think that is disrespectful? The team could literally fire Pep tomorrow, City has fired managers before, was that disrespectful?

This is football, this is sports, you can go play anywhere you want, there are price to pay of course economically, but in the end as long as you are willing to pay the money for it, you can leave whenever you want no matter if you are the player, the coach, or even the front office person like football director. Anyone can leave. If you are a player, you need to find someone who will buy you out, if you are coach same goes for you.

In other news, Rabiot trying to force a move to another team? He hasn't returned to the Juventus HQ: https://www.gazzetta.it/Calcio/Serie-A/Juventus/09-05-2020/juve-rabiot-insoddisfatto-tentato-premier-370835408444.shtml

We don't know but is very strange for a player who lives like 2 hours away from Turin.
We got some rumors about possible interest from Newcastle on him, Juventus got him for free 6 months ago +10m € for fees.

I think if they can have Pogba they can let him leave for 25m.

Lolol.  Like how they said Pep met with the Juve brass and a move to the Italian side was 'inevitable'?  Grin  Journos man...

Guardiola was a deal done and for some reason, it has not happened, too many strange things that happened with Sarri in Juventus after he came that makes me think more and more about it.
Keep also is mind there was one of his friends who live in Barca that confirmed the story, shortly after the start of the season.

As I said last year 6 months before the UEFA the rumor was.

Guardiola goes to Juve with a deal done if UEFA will penalize City.
The penalty should be 2 years.

Guess what? 2 Years ban.

Not fault of Guardiola or Juventus if UEFA took 8 months for the sentence and not the usual 2.

Lets see what will happen if Sarri will lose everything and City will be punished but it will be hard this year with COVID.

As I said...  No.  Pep will never disrespect Ferran Soriano and Txiki Begiristain by moving to another club before his contract ends at City at 2021.

I think he's gonna take another sabbatical after his current contract tho.  So Juve would have to wait a while longer.

Raphael Honigstein, a sports reporter from the German Spiegel magazine just posted some more information on the upcoming Leroy Sané deal. It looks like the transfer to FC Bayern München is only a matter of time now:

Bayern and Manchester City are likely to reach a compromise for the transfer of Leroy Sané, for more than the reported €40m. Bayern are convinced of Sané's determination to make the move and talks are progressing

Sané has told friends that he intends to raise his daughter in Germany and sources close to him are certain the deal will go through this time. The only significant hurdle left to be cleared is the final transfer fee

Sané has shown little inclination to extend his contract at Man City. Bayern players Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka, two of his best friends in football, have lobbied him to move to Munich.

Both of Sané's parents and his partner are keen on a move to Munich. Another potential factor could be the opportunity to sign up with Adidas when his Nike contract ends this summer. [@honigstein, @SamLee]

Sources: 1, 2, 3, 4.

IMHO its only about the transfer fee at this point, but I am confident Bayern and Manchester City will find an agreement here sooner than later. The transfer fee should be something between €45-65m. I am pretty excited to see him in the Bundesliga next year. Can't wait actually.

Pjanic is ready to go to Barcelona but they will have to offer some player in exchange, probably Rakitic?

I don't think they will accept the deal only for Rakitic.

The primary objective for Juve is to rejuvenate the team and try to limit the number of high salaries.
Rakitic is the opposite of what they want, he is an old a player now who has given his best and who with his age brings with him experience but at a very high price for his skills.
We must also consider the price of the transfer, is much lower than Pjanic, the only possibility for this exchange is to insert around 40 million in the negotiation.
It seems more logical for both teams in this moment of world economic crisis to choose an exchange with Arthur, both teams could overestimate their players until I believe a value of 60 million to balance a large capital gain for the financial fair play.

According to rumors, in January, Barcelona had also offered Vidal to Juventus for a comeback but Juventus, knowing the character and behavior of the Chilean, in addition to the high price for the salary, declined the offer.

Other players who could enter into negotiations between the two clubs are Bernardeschi and DeSciglio but so far the only real negotiation for which the clubs had a meeting is the Pjanic-Arthur for a likely 50-60m €.

Pjanic seems to have said yes, Juve seems to have said yes, Barcelona seems to have said yes and the player Arthur could say yes since he doesn't feel at the center of the Catalan project, everything gives hope for a positive conclusion of the negotiation.

According to Marca, https://www.marca.com/en/football/international-football/2020/05/09/5eb67824268e3e4f168b456d.html there are a few interesting News.
It seems that Inter is interesting in Vidal but will offer only 15m euros to Barcelona.
Manchester United is ready to sell David De Gea if they receive good offer for him.
Pjanic is ready to go to Barcelona but they will have to offer some player in exchange, probably Rakitic?

Marca making it look as if Real Madrid rejected Pogba when is well known that both Zizou and Florentino wanted him on the team  Roll Eyes It's crystal clear that Pogba has one objective which is going back to Italy. Pogba, Ronaldo, Dybala, sounds like my typical FIFA 20 career mode save lol

We should not expect huge budget transfers this year and Pogba will be a high cost transfer. The football industry is having a difficult period in general this year. Although big budget clubs like Real Madrid are not affected, I think they will act realistically and make more modest transfers this year.

I am also actually waiting which all clubs buy and whom. Will the big transfers happen, though some clubs have big money so they can easily afford to but it will also be depended on how the world can overcome from this virus first and make the things normal for us to watch and enjoy the football back.

I may have a slightly different opinion about how the transfers will take place when the summer window opens, as I feel that we will witness many big transfers taking place and these are the ones that are almost certain to take place:

1) Pogba to Real Madrid or Juventus for over $100 million in direct cash or reduced amount and players added as part of the deal.

2) Sancho to Manchester United for around $80 - $100 million, and here Manchester United will pay cash upfront and no players will be exchanged.

3) Koulibaly and Warner to Liverpool for a combined figure of around $150 million, and again Liverpool will pay full  amount in cash.

4) Grealish to Manchester United for $60 million, and again Manchester United will make full payment upfront..

5) Aubameyang  to Manchester United for $25 million, this is a surprise transfer and it can definitely take place.

In my personal opinion big clubs have the cash that they require to splash in the transfer market, but they keep saying money isn’t available in press releases as that’ll help them purchase their targets for a lower valuation.

I know you’ll not accept my words at face value so check these links, and put your focus on the dates:

Good move for the player & Man Utd, he’s been a bit of a failure at United & needs a move to the right club to get his career back on track. His best football was at Juve, hopefully he can reproduce that form if he goes back.

hmph..

they better address the positions that are more important imo.
Of course some media reported a player an linked with any clubs have a chance to join on transfer season. I think all connected players from the rumors it can be true. That mean if the player are "important for the coach" even major of fans think if the current deal not good enough for the clubs.

It is quite interesting to see these type of news. This kid is only 16 years old, half of my age, and he is seen as such a big talent or a huge potential that teams are willing to play millions even before that kid could play professionally and show what type of player he will be.
Since Lampard took over Chelsea, he has shown that he's going to be a manager that'll favor the young players and maybe give Chelsea's academy talents a chance to shine in the first team, this transfer plan could have originated from that desire. I support managers who take this path, though it is not what fans that want immediate success like.
But assistant coach, Michael Carrick as reported by Goal claimed not to be convinced of the Red Devils transfer plan next summer.
I'm thinking in the same way as Michael Carrick, with the players they media has been linking united with, those players are not what they need, they better address the positions that are more important imo.

These type of situations work two ways, either you pay that much money for someone so young but you get yourself a dedicated very talented hard working young player and keep him there for a decade and/or sell him for a lot higher, or the second possibility is, since the kid is talented it looks like he is a lot better compared to other 16 year olds

Fun fact about this is that poaching young players like this is considered as an investment. You never know how your investment turns out in the end, this player could be a superstar in few years or turns out to be a flop

however when you put them versus professional level players he starts to realize he is not that good and starts to play badly and ruins his future.

Or he could realize that he is not that good enough to compete with all those top player and start practicing more. everyone start from the bottom, even christiano ronaldo, he practice daily when he was still youngster with a hope that he might surpass his senior in Manchester United and he did
