I’d probably be happy to take him at LFC as a squad player providing his wages weren’t too bar. He’s a fairly decent player.
With players like, Lallana, Ox, Shaqiri all looking to find their way into the squad, I don't think LFC it will be a wise move for Willian, except he doesn't mind spending the remainder of his competitive football period on the sidelines. He has the attraction of potential European successes, and for some that is enough motivation to lose playing time over.

I think Lallana and Shaqiri will be moving on this year, so Willian would be a good replacement.
Right now Liverpool is most favorite but few rumours Arsenal is also going strong for this if this happen then surely its could be more interesting as Arsenal is also going to involve in business this season very strongly.

Anybody wanna do a small bet vs me?  Just 10 bucks.  I say none of the big money transfers are gonna push thru during this coming transfer window.  But help me define what 'big money transfer' is...  Anything above 50m GBP?

I’ll give this one a miss Cheesy
I think a lot of clubs will spend less than usual but some big deals will go through. Hope we get Werner  Tongue

Ah, could be a sign that I'm at the right side of the bet for once.  Grin

Anybody else?  DeathAngel, Trofo, Ltu_btc...?  Give me a chance to win 10 bucks back at least.  Cheesy

Edit:  And Willian for free?  Def sign him.

I don't understand this possible transfer if it were to happen. What happens to Barcelona's fragile back line? Pique is now old.
They haven't even worked on it, and they are thinking of reinforcing the midfield by offering their defenders in exchange for a midfielder?

Everything is impossible to believe at this point in time. Newspapers have no news and their editors are forcing the writers to write so they have to go out and talk to everyone and every agent and make anything news.

Barcelona anyway now offer defenders because they cannot afford,,, if the news is true. They have big problems with finance.

Gonzalo may want to stay in Argentina with his sick mother, if he will not come back Juventus will trash the contract and go for Cavani, free transfer.
Some people were saying that Gonzalo wanted to return to the club where he made his professional debut: River Plate, but looks like it was fake news. I read some articles from argentinian newspapers and they're saying Higuain will stay in Itality until his contract expires in 2021.

Mah everyday new rumors papers for me are inventing news cause otherwise they are not selling in this period of time.
I know, right? And with the Newcastle takeover, news outlets have found even more BS to sell. I've seen the likes of Koulibaly, Coutinho and Griezmann linked to Newcastle  Roll Eyes

Barcelona's club policy has been in chaos for some time, wrong decisions are made, players are publicly attacked through marketing agencies, club board members  are expelled etc.
Nothing new here.
If they keep this up, Real will overtake them and leave them far behind.
I am not sure that Barcelona will bring in players, given that some of the news that I read Barcelona is rumored to be selling their players such as Sport English reports, Juventus want to recruit Sergi Roberto.
while Football Espana reported that Tottenham Hotspur wants to recruit Ivan Rakitic.
Football Italia reported that Umtiti had the opportunity to continue his career at Napoli.
it's all in my opinion because of the chaos on the part of Barcelona since a few days ago.

It seems to me that at the moment a lot of players wants to leave the Club but there's not much talk about new players which is not a good sign and speaks of chaos at the Club.
The Neymar story appears to have died out, Suarez is already old and facing retirement and the question is who can help Messi?
Real seem to be running a much better club policy and they know exactly what they want and how to achieve it.

That depends.
They were talking about different things in the next market session.

They were talking about extending the session for 6 months and even to remove the FFP for the next 2 years.
So if they will remove the FFP the billionaires still can spend some hundreds of milions without any problem.

We probably go to a market with a lot of exchanges and small sells IMO.

For big sales depends on what they will decide for the FPP.

Seriously it's Messi Brilliance that has been Keeping Barcelona a float for a few past seasons now. Without him, Barcelona would have never been the team they are for the past couple of seasons in La Liga.

Once Messi is done, Barcelona's rotten policy will all be exposed if they don't change anything.

Barcelona has a new and interesting plan.
They wants to strengthen the midfield and Tottenham Hotspur's Tanguy Ndombele is target.
They will offer either Samuel Umtiti or Nelson Semedo in exchange for him.

I don't understand this possible transfer if it were to happen. What happens to Barcelona's fragile back line? Pique is not old.
They haven't even worked on it, and they are thinking of reinforcing the midfield by offering their defends in exchange for a midfielder?

According to RMC Aouar is very possible in an exchange trading with Pjanic.

Only 2 days ago we got a rumor for a possible sell for a good offer for Pjanic.

Chelsea should have sold Olivier Giroud in January, I think around that time a few clubs were interested in signing the French man(and he wasn't getting playing time). Extending his contract now is the only way to ensure that Chelsea will get some money from him when they eventually sell him, because I'm sure Giroud doesn't have any chance in Chelsea anymore, Abraham is preferred to him, and he is 33 years of age, Chelsea will be interested in a younger striker for sure.
Giroud is still likely to leave Chelsea in the upcoming transfer window, especially if Frank Lampard team bring in a new striker.  But the steps taken by Chelsea were also carried out with the aim of blocking the potential for players with the number 18 jersey to join Tottenham Hotspur who can bring it for free if there is no contract extension.
I know it is not really all that common for the big clubs to not find buyers for their players but it is still an option plus with corona going on and all it might get even harder. When you sign someone that old, you are risking paying him for another year without using them at all and maybe nobody will buy him. Although I am sure they will find some place that will take him, even if it is only covering his fee they paid so far plus the agent fee and so forth, they will eventually find someone to get him.

Chelsea may not get a player a lot younger and around the same talent and around the same price, if a player is talented and young they are usually very expensive and since the leagues are closed for now they missed a lot of revenue as well, so they are probably trying to make a dime anywhere they can.

There are leagues well below the big top leagues and those leagues have hard time getting the stars to their teams, for the past 3 decades or so whenever a star that played at the top leagues like Serie A or bundesliga or premier league or la liga so for so forth got old, that player started to look for leagues like Turkey, Qatar, China and so forth in order to get as much money as they can for the last few years of their career.

I am sure Giroud will be like that as well , eventually Chelsea will sell him to some unknown god knows where Asian team and get a decent return, you can easily fetch 10-20 million euro for anyone "has been" player you have in those leagues, because they are definitely better than the local talent even at that age, plus there is a reputation thing going on as well when those teams can get big name players.
