Manchester City is still on Leonardo Bonucci but Juventus seems want to keep him.

Barcelona has a new and interesting plan.
They wants to strengthen the midfield and Tottenham Hotspur's Tanguy Ndombele is target.
They will offer either Samuel Umtiti or Nelson Semedo in exchange for him.

It may be that Barcelona will have to offer a lot more here  Cheesy

Chelsea should have sold Olivier Giroud in January, I think around that time a few clubs were interested in signing the French man(and he wasn't getting playing time). Extending his contract now is the only way to ensure that Chelsea will get some money from him when they eventually sell him, because I'm sure Giroud doesn't have any chance in Chelsea anymore, Abraham is preferred to him, and he is 33 years of age, Chelsea will be interested in a younger striker for sure.
Giroud is still likely to leave Chelsea in the upcoming transfer window, especially if Frank Lampard team bring in a new striker.  But the steps taken by Chelsea were also carried out with the aim of blocking the potential for players with the number 18 jersey to join Tottenham Hotspur who can bring it for free if there is no contract extension.

Meh, Giroud has been finished as a top performer for a few years now. You could be right, making him sign a new deal on possibly higher wages gives him a couple of months pay rise before he might be sold so Chelsea get a fee then & it’s a win for both parties.

Chelsea used the option to extend for 1 year the contract of Giroud, Inter will now go for Mertens for free according to "LaGazzettaDelloSport"

https://www.gazzetta.it/Calcio/Serie-A/Inter/24-04-2020/calciomercato-chelsea-esercita-opzione-giroud-inter-vira-mertens-370454671524.shtml

The also talking about the fact of Chelsea using this option only to sell him for some money, he was on expiration and he was a free player from 30th June 2020.

Do you see him taking the job?
No i don't see Mauricio pochettino taking the job at Newcastle, I also don't want him to. I don't know if any top European team that probably wants a manager, but I want poch in a big team, in a champions league team and a team that competes for titles every season, he will be paid well in Newcastle, but he won't achieve much.
...I think he should be stopped because It's not good for the Football like Mancity and Psg,...
Nothing can be done if he wants to buy Newcastle. Money is now very important in football, just look at how much players cost in the market, only the big and rich teams can buy the best players, to compete and match up as a team you need money. Newcastle will be much better if the billionaire takes over.

What do you know about buying Newcastle United by the Saudi Arabian Prince Salman, I have seen such type of rumor that he is going to buy Newcastle United in the coming next year, though I haven't got any authentic reference Nothing is impossible to him because he has a billion Dollar of Oil selling Money, I think he should be stopped because It's not good for the Football like Mancity and Psg, Only money can't buy Football because day by day Football is getting a game of money where most of the players are getting huge money which they don't deserve at all, so Oil selling money should be prevented for the shake of the Football's spirit, otherwise, it will kill the passion of this game.

^  Timo Werner?  Don't count Tottenham out...  With Mourinho at the helm, he'll turn the Spurs into a wasteful spending juggernaut.  Grin

I don't think this year's transfer window will see huge acquisitions tho.

This should be almost official Cheesy time for a #pogback, they need now to sell him on next transfer window

After all the s**t's that's been going on, is Juve willing to pay the asking price and is Man United willing to negotiate.  Not sure about how Real's books are but if there's a club who pays huge sums, it's usually them.

And I think he's been on Zidane's wanted list since his second stint as Real's manager.

@tokeweed at this stage Manchester United would be more than happy to sell him for a cut prize, as we’re paying him for the entire year and he’s barely played this season hence it’ll be a smart move to sell him and get grealish in.

Sky Sports News got some more news on RB Leipzig's striker Timo Werner, who has a release clause of €60m (£52m). It looks like a transfer to FC Liverpool is pretty unlikely at the moment. I personally doubt Werner will move to FC Liverpool at all. He might end up staying in Leipzig this season.

Timo Werner is ready to sign for Liverpool if they pay his £52m (€60m) release clause before it expires on 15 June. But Liverpool, like in January, do not intend to make a move for Werner before his release clause expires.[@SkySportsNews]

Leipzig are a selling club & 52 million GBP is a great deal for a potential buying club. He might not go to Liverpool but if they don’t take him then somebody else will imo.

@DeathAngel I’m surprised that Liverpool are not bidding for him already as Kloop wanted him, and even he wants to go to Liverpool hence it’s a match made in heaven. Also if Liverpool do not bid for him, then I expect Manchester United will buy him as he’s a top class player and could help the other strikers at the club.

It looks more like Manchester United is playing with the emotions of sports news outlet. lol
To me, there is no way MUFC is letting go of Paul Pogba ahead of a beautiful title challenge season.

MUFC is delaying the contract extension because they prefer Pogba signing a new deal; and with A DM and Sancho coming on as well as a left back rumoured. Its gonna be an interesting summer transfer.

Here's a rumor swirling that could def happen:  Pochettino to Newcastle...  Yes please.
Poch went from possibly being the manager of Real Madrid or Man Utd or Argentina NT to being the main target of Newcastle...I think it's fake news. Do you see him taking the job?

I want to see him in Italy, i feel like he could learn a lot from italian football.
Italy is really good place for Poch as he is still very young and can learn many things from here for his more good future I am not in favour if he is going to Newcastle because this is not right place for him right now.

Pjanic is good and all but dude is 30 years old and he is not getting any better any time soon neither, all teams are looking into changin some pieces during this period, we know it is not the transfer season just yet however it is weird times because leagues are cancelled so teams could potentially have like a potential deal made that is "if nothing major happens we are going to do this deal" type of situation and make it official when the time comes. So, if they can get rid of pjanic for a decent amount of money, they could finally get Pogba back, I don't think its a good idea but it is known that they have been wanting to get him back for a while now, United is not really in love with him neither but they know he is valuable. So, Juventus could simply send Pjanic, put some money on top of it and get Pogba.
