Maybe back to Spurs? I know this sounds like not a good idea and %99 it will not happen but think about it, there will be a lot of changes upcoming and I think he might get back to his old spot after Spurs not finding Mourinho to be really the answer and he finally finding another team to fill in if he can. If not I would say either Barcelona or City to be a good choice for him. Barcelona will probably look for a new manager after this year, and either they will get him, or maybe they will get Pep and which case we have City spot open for him as well.

However I could see him going lower instead of higher, which means dude could probably go for a lower team, a team that is bottom half at premier league and maybe even as low as going to a regulation level team. If that happens and he showcases how good he is once again, that could potentially cement his place for a bigger team for sure, maybe he is already there, maybe a big club will snatch him, but a lower team success story would only make it %100 guaranteed at least.

Or he can manage a Spanish club other than Real Madrid and Barcelona. I mean Poch's current achievement still not enough for him to move freely to big clubs, unlike Mourinho.

Different clubs have different standards for choosing their managers; philosophy, experience etc all factor in. Barcelona over the past couple of seasons have picked up managers from lower clubs with little achievements, most time cause their style of play suits that of the club. Poch can possibly land a job at one of the top teams in Spain at the moment.

I expect he'll wait till next season to make a decision, and maybe a surprise vacancy could open up. Maybe a move to Man City?

How about we discuss what the poll is asking. Where will be Pochettino’s next job?

He’s been out of work for a while now, I presume he’ll be well rested & ready to work again soon.
The probability for him to MU is slim at the moment because the board seems happy with Ole's performance. I think they had enough of "outsiders."

I think with Newcastle Arab money, he can be there but need to compete with Rafa as he is fans favorite. Or he can manage a Spanish club other than Real Madrid and Barcelona. I mean Poch's current achievement still not enough for him to move freely to big clubs, unlike Mourinho.

It looks like Leroy Sanés transfer to FC Bayern München is getting closer. The usually good informt Daily Mirror Manchester football correspondent David McDonnell reports that Bayern is willing to pay about €80m for Sané. He also reports that Sané's managment is interested in getting the deal done.
I think this transfer is possible, I read somewhere the other day about Leroy sane's agent saying sane is interested in the move to Germany, as Bayern Munich is a team he can achieve champions league success with. Tbh I want to see Leroy play for City for at least another season, Bayern Munich aren't the team they used to be and if not that City are banned from the next two UCL's, I'll tip them to win their first UCL title before Bayern wins again.

With the price Bayern are offering and Sane's desire to leave, I don't see anything stopping this deal going through, City will definitely miss him, but with Mahrez and Sterling available, it won't be much.

At first I mistook Leroy Sane with Sadio Mane and I was like why would Liverpool want to give up one of their best players, and only for 80 million as well, at this day and age they can't spend 80 million and find another Mane.

Now, I realize its Sane from City and considering there is no league this year and there will not be any European cups next year for City (they got a punishment for it) that means Sane would want to leave obviously, dude probably wants to play in a team that could make some noise at Europe and Bayern is definitely the team that could do that. Plus City has a lot of financial troubles now, so they are probably looking to sell some players and make things right. This literally works for all three parties involved, a very rare win-win-win situation.

The Spain international is linked with a move to Old Trafford. Would he be a good addition to Bruno Fernandes and could he possibly replace Paul Pogba?
https://twitter.com/TMuk_news/status/1250376897294413824

where does Paul Pogba go then?  Roll Eyes

One thing that seems certain to be happening at Old Trafford is that Pogba will be signing a new contract, against all odds and criticisms.
Then the signing of Sancho is clearly in priorities; including Grealish transfer, though it seems the pandemic will cause clubsides to relax their spending power.

But Pogba is definitely staying at Manchester United.

On this also they talked about to isolate 1500 people, players and helpers of teams for 2 months and play games every 3 days in south Italy.
Every day they have a new idea but the time is ticking, also according to one study on one vaccine here in Italy, we have a small chance to have a vaccine usable on large scale on September.

For sure they want to try to play the rest of the season to limit the economical damage.

A lot of news are really going inside Serie A right now so I wouldn't  assume everything is correct, it's just that with this news about plans on how the league will start it looks like they are serious on resuming the league. However even if they have all these plans set in place I think that the Italian government still has the final say whether or not the league resuming will push through or will just be plans without any direction going. If there is any more delay later than May there is a big possibility that the league still hasn't ended yet the transfer market will be open so we can expect it to be like a January transfer window where there will be no off season for the teams.

How could Dybala extend his contract to "until end of his career" when he is just 26?

He probably wants to become the next legend after Buffon or DelPiero if he will sign the new contract.
As the rumors say the new contract will expire when he will be 32 years old.

Keep in mind this can be also a move to increase his value for a possible transfer to another team since the longer his the contract the higher should be the price of a player.

Chelsea and Spurs target Coutinho: Barça want fee that “brings the club forward”

Got to know about this rumor as cautinho was trending in the early hours of today on twitter. The rumors also linked Barcelona been interested in swapping coutinho for kante plus some extra fees. In my opinion buying coutinho will be a waste of more talk more of losing the only world class player (kante) in the Chelsea squad in the process of acquiring him.

No doubt coutinho is a good player with lots of potential and experience to strengthen up the attacking force of the Chelsea starting eleven but that's not a bet we (Chelsea) should gamble on. I'll prefer we get him through loan and if he does deliver we buy him permanently. We should be more interested in a striker not the midfielders.

How could Dybala extend his contract to "until end of his career" when he is just 26? What are they going to do, give him a 10 year contract? That has never happened in football as far as I know, at least not at this level and not at this much money. Even if he plays until he is only 33 which at this day and age very very early to retire, that would mean 7 years worth of contract and I doubt Juve would want to do that for a player they don't know how he will play at later stage.

Maybe at most he can get like a 4-5 year contract which is a bit more common, 3 is more realistic but if they are working on something longer I think 5 could be max, that would put him at 31 and he could get like a couple more years after that maybe if he is still providing something to the team.

Did the same thing not happen with Messi? I remember reading that he got offered a lifetime contract,,, or rather, to the end of career. Is this not the same deal? But of course, for a 26 year old outfield player the most he can hope for is end of career at 40. And not many people managed to do that.

Actually end of career contract can be quite lucrative if the club believe he will hit his peak and cost even more to other clubs to sell. Then he will still have same salary as today even though he is better.

He also reports that Sané's managment is interested in getting the deal done.

Leroy Sané is moving closer to a Manchester City exit this summer and a dream move to Bayern. Sané's representatives have stepped up their efforts to secure the Germany winger a return to his homeland after four years at City.

Bayern are ready to offer around £70million (€80m) for Sané – half of what City were willing to accept for the 24-year-old last summer before he was injured. [@DiscoMirror]

Benzema has been a great player for Real but he’s 32, they need to start to plan for the future. Lots of Real’s players are the wrong side of 30, you can’t but a whole new team in one transfer window so they need to try & do it gradually.

Real Madrid planning to sign Haaland this summer and Mbappe next year Shocked  We're gonna be unstoppable once they're in the team  Cool

Hilarious stuff  Grin

Do you guys see this happening?

Who are going to substitute those two players?
I think that Benzema is pretty decent - in my opinion he is the best striker in the world, and very underrated.
I don't want them in Real. Maybe Haaland would be a good fit, but Mbappe for sure not.

With several different sources saying the same thing I can't help but say that Serie A starting its league is a possibility. It's not rumors about any dates or whatsoever but the actual plan on how things will re-start for the league, that includes mass testing for all the players before they start training, matches will be played on empty stadiums until 2021, and the matches will also be played south of the Lombardy region which is the center of the coronavirus outbreak there. Right now it looks like Serie A will be one of the first leagues to resume their season given that they were the first one to suspend their league. I don't know how the Italian government looks as this since they are essentially avoiding all the lockdown protocols just to start their league again.

According to "Gazzetta dello Sport" here https://www.gazzetta.it/Calcio/Serie-A/14-04-2020/coronavirus-champions-mercato-regole-piani-uefa-fifa-board-370211196551.shtml

For FIFA teams cannot oblige players to stay on teams if their contract will expire on 30/06/2020 but the league will end later.

IF Seria A will start back they are talking on the play every 3 days with 5 up from 3 possible changes for the game.
