The way I see it, Conte is desperate to ship off Osimhen and will accept  any offer, no matter how absurd to get him but in the aspect of reducing the fee like Todd Boehly is expecting, I don't think it's going to work because by reducing the price tag of one of the best ( if not the best strikers ) you've got at Napoli will certainly set tongues wagging and I don't think Antonio Conte is willing to risk that happening so a deal that includes Osimhen plus cash seems fair but it would be very bad to let the player go just the way they are desperately trying to do after all he did for the club, at least let there be some form of regard or respect for the player.
If not that a player like Lukaku is involved I believe other EPL clubs would have jumped into the deal and snatch it off from Chelsea because it seems the Blues are still waiting for the price tag to be very low like they can't pay, to me is not right the way the Napoli side are taking this deal.
Osimhen moved to Chelsea is a loan moved with an option to buy which seems reasonably and I don't think this is because of the fee rather more likely his injury history which has always made me to be Sceptical about his moved to Chelsea.

I don't think Conte wanted to by all means sell Osimhen instead they're looking for a more bigger cash out since it seems like personal terms with Osimhen  where agree by PSG before the deal fell out because of Napoli asking price

Rumors: Man United will buy Manuel Ugarte. Manuel Ugarte is a PSG midfielder, Ten Hag seems to have put Manuel Ugarte on the main transfer list after the 5 transfers he made. But Man United have to sell one of their midfielders to be able to get him. Casemiro is reportedly interested in Arab clubs, while Scott McTominay is interested in Fulham. There are indeed several players who are interested by other clubs, Ten Hag seems to be going to sell one of them.  Because Man United had to pay £59 million to buy Manuel Ugarte.

Casemiro has to go, although he has been of on the top performers in Manchester United since joining them. But he is already getting old and he has been having injury problems lately, It won't be a difficult decision for Ten Hag to make. Manchester United midfield need a fresh leg, and if I am to choose between Scott McTominay and Casemiro I will choose McTominay and let let Casemiro go. But if Manchester United can afford to bring in two new midfielders to replace Casemiro and McTominay it will be good. The two of them has been playing that midfield for years now and nothing special has happened. Manchester United don't have to miss Manuel Ugarte, he has been on their transfer list sine the transfer window opened, and his transfer fee is not what Manchester United can't afford. They should bring money and get good players and forget about buying fringe players that has started picking up injuries while the season has not even started.

Is Ironic his replacement has not really been doing well, though ignoring his drama with Manchester United I think he should lower his wages for at least a season or two in order to prove he still in good shape to earn more because I think even Saudi teams won't really give him an high wage as he ought to have earn except he can prove he still got his skill in him.

De Gea has a salary value that must be paid by Manchester United is too big so the management decided not to extend his contract after negotiating a salary reduction.
But did not get a decision because De Gea himself still insisted on not wanting his salary reduced.
If you look at De Gea's ability, it was still quite good before his contract ended and he even became an irreplaceable goalkeeper at Old Trafford. The arrival of Onana changed everything even though if you look at the abilities of both of them I can say De Gea is a little better.

Rumors are circulating that De Gea is getting some proposals now and there are several teams interested in recruiting him.
But if he asks for a big salary, the Saudi Arabian League is much more capable than joining a European club with the hope of a big salary.
The current era of football will be quite difficult to survive if you do not follow the new rules of the club. Manchester United is already in the hands of different people and De Gea can no longer maintain the same principles so when offered the option of a salary reduction he refused. Now it can be said that De Gea is not very marketable in the market, except for Saudi Arabian clubs and European clubs who are loyal and want to get his signature. In the EPL everything has changed so I don't see De Gea future in the Premier League. He is still 33 years old and in terms of productivity is still worthy in Europe but no longer in the Premier League.

Maybe in the future Bayern Munich has interest as an option to replace Manuel Neuer. It would be great if that happened but the Saudi Arabian Club could get De Gea much faster.

De Gea back? is this real? of course it will still be news that makes us curious. Smiley

As has been reported if De Gea will go to Italy to sign a contract with Genoa and with this he can enjoy his activities as a professional football player again. It is not easy for a goalkeeper who is still good enough for the European level and I hope this can give a different color to his career.

If this process goes well then it is certain that De Gea will not waste his time anymore to continue doing individual training and he can provide his experience to a different league that he has never visited. I think Genoa has made the right move by recruiting De Gea after their previous goalkeeper Josep Martinez joined Inter some time ago.
Genoa seems like not the level of team he should be playing, and I never understood why he said no to Saudi Arabia if he is going to play at Genoa level club, I thought he said no to many teams last year, just because he wanted to play at a decent team, and missing a whole season is not really worth playing at Genoa to be fair.

If he wanted this level, he could have played at Genoa level team last season as well, I am sure there were many offers. If he comes back now, and plays there, I am sure that he will be more than good enough but it is going to be weird for him, going from being a great United goalkeeper to a player nobody wanted for a whole year so he ended up with genoa instead, that ain't really that great at all.

Hopefully, he could at least prove himself and get a few more seasons at a better team after this. If not, might as well go to Saudi league, so he could get some good amount of money as well, that would definitely help them. Not saying that he is going to be great, we could end up with something much better with time, it is going to be something that will be taking a little bit of time but it could very well happen for him, and could make a lot of money there.

In Barcelona, since Flick joined this team, they have been trying to hire players and they want to get the team improved. Dani Olmo is the player they wanted to hire this player for the next season.
His good performance in Leipzig made Barcelona send him an offer.
But it seems the offer was not good enough and Leipzig said they would let his god for 60 million euros while Barcelona wanted to give 45 million euros.

It's saddening to me how De Gea was too naive by putting a very high wage for his service. He could play if he were not being so naive by putting a very high wage.
Where is the primary source for this? Seems like some websites re-posted what SkySports posted about De Gea transfer, and it's unclear what number is requested by him. I guess he's not really prioritizing game play time but money, which is understandable IMO. Whether it was caused by ego or because of something else, he'll definitely lower his demand if he feels like he need the money to live comfortably for the next years or so. CMIIW.

[...] And in other news, I heard that because De Gea might not join Genoa, now this goalkeeper is rumored to have the potential to join a club from Laliga, namely Villareal. But that's just a rumor and there's no clarity at all. [...]

Reportedly because the salary request was too high, Genoa did not sign De Gea. It looks like we will see De Gea not playing for any club next season again, it's a shame that at his productive age he won't play. He is too adamant about his market value, even though if he played for any club, he could prove his performance so that big clubs would want to sign him with a high salary.
That's the problem. De Gea expected a Man United-level salary from a lesser club. It's nonsense to hear De Gea was still waiting for a big-money offer like he had at Manchester United. Also, he hasn't played in a year and is 33 years old. Basically, De Gea has finished at the top level.

As per Romano, Genoa signed Gollini to be a new goalkeeper from Atalanta. It's saddening to me how De Gea was too naive by putting a very high wage for his service. He could play if he were not being so naive by putting a very high wage.

Nobody wants to pay that wage for De Gea, and the only chance for De Gea to come back to football is by decreasing his wage.

Vitor Roque can still take his career to a better position if he gets a chance to play for a European club. The player has had to sit on the bench most of the time for Barcelona, due to which he has never been able to make full use of his skills. Now if an offer comes to him from the Saudi League and if Barcelona sells him to the Saudi club Al Hilal for 30 million euros, even if he performs well there, his career will not be bright. Basically, if he performs well for European clubs, that performance is discussed, but no matter how well he performs in the Saudi League, the football media will not discuss much about that performance. Now the decision is in his hands, if there are offers for him from other European clubs and if the offer is low then he should stay in Europe and try to take his career to a better level.
This rumor was immediately broken because it looks like Victor Roque will still continue to be at Barcelona because even though there is a tempting offer for Roque at Al Hilal and surely the salary that will be given is also no joke but it looks like Victor Roque does not want to just give up after the Barcelona coach changes.

Vitor Roque is not ready to throw in the towel at Barcelona amid a big offer from Saudi Arabia and expected attacking signings this summer.

He seems to want to try new luck in the Hansi Flick era so he will remain at Barcelona and hope to get more opportunities next season unlike what happened in the Xavi era where he did not get enough time. But the SPL always have a way if they really want to sign players so it is not impossible that there will be another bigger offer later for Roque after this rejection.

Napoli are willing to accept Lukaku plus money in exchange for Osimhen to go to Chelsea and I think this will the best signing the Blues will do if it goes through because they are finally addressing their problem and going for it which is in the area of attack. I don't really understand why Todd Boehly is dragging his feet on this transfer and hasn't splashed money yet cause this is a fair deal for me. From how clubs are looking for the services of good strikers, such an offer will be gobbled up without thinking and I hope they don't lose out on this one.

Good news, but it was not a straight swap between Osimhen and Lukaku. There may be some money involved. Also, Napoli might ask Chelsea for another player. Napoli wants to sign Lukaku ASAP, per Conte's request. But let's see how much they want for Osimhen.

I think Todd boehly was waiting for Napoli to decrease their price tag for Osimhen, and finally they did it. I heard that Napoli has lowered its price for Osimhen. Chelsea may be reconsidering its swap offer. Glad to see Napoli is now using its sense to let Osimhen leave the club.

Let’s be realistic here. I know some clubs won’t mind buying Osimhen. But as you can see, no one is willing to spend €120m or so on him. Chelsea are likely to get him on loan + option to buy. This is even possible because Conte wants Lukaku(a player they have tried all their best to get rid off) if Lukaku wasn’t in the Picture, Napoli won’t even entertain the loan discussion. PSG were interested in the deal to bring him to Paris, but the deal suffered a setback. They were adding players to the Osimhen's deal and Napoli indicated interest in one of the players offered I.e. Lee Kang-in, but it didn’t make sense to spend that heavy on just one player.

I think it’ll be a very good deal for Chelsea if they get Osimhen. What is missing in this Chelsea team is a quality striker. Someone that can give 20 league goals in a season. They have a good creative system, so he’ll adapt easily.

There is interest from the Saudi pro league where Al-Hilal wants Vitor Roque from Barcelona and many reports say that Barcelona is open to selling him if there is an offer of more than 30 million euros. No one expected that what was initially thought to be Barcelona's wonderkid is now nothing more than just a source of fresh funds for their next target and as we know, Barcelona currently needs additional funds to realize Nico Williams.

It is another bad transfer move for Barcelona.  Sad  They signed Roque for 40 million euros only six months ago. Now he is about to say goodbye because of turning out to be not good enough to meet the expectations.

They have bad scouts or what? They really need to make a big improvement in their transfer policies. They just spend lots of money on players carelessly and there have been many times they regretted for that. This is the main reason why their finances got this bad as well you know. If they learn to manage their money more efficiently it is still possible to bring back those good old days. But they need quite much time for that considering how big the problem is.

But in the end everything will also be a little complicated if in the end De Gea does not try to lower the salary he has.
Problems in Genoa can actually be anticipated if De Gea is ready with the salary that Genoa is willing to pay but De Gea remains with his stance where he wants a bigger salary according to his capabilities in the last few seasons which makes this complicated and this could also affect him if he is at Villarreal.

At this time it is undeniable that De Gea could have returned to being a professional player after last season he could not be in the club because no one dared to sign him but in the end he also had to realize that the salary demands he gave had to match what had happened to him.
De Gea must be smart to choose a club seriously and accept a salary that suits his current proportions if indeed he still wants to keep playing football in major competitions in Europe unless maybe if the offer is from MLS or SPL it will be a different story.

Maybe Vitor Roque's fate is not so lucky because since his arrival at Barcelona, he has not received Xavi's trust at all and finally now he has started to be sidelined and cannot even compete for a starting position. His journey to find a bright path at Barcelona will be increasingly difficult in front of the new coach Hansi Flick who we know is very disciplined and will always choose players according to his plans well. Now the decision depends on Vitor Roque and also on Al-Hilal whether they can pay more than Barcelona wants to smooth this transfer.

There are huge salary awaiting the spaniard goalkeeper but due to his standards and his non-involvement with players, he's out of reach and his country didn't call him. We believe DDG and his agent are working effortlessly to ensure they secured a deal that's worthy. Precisely, not a good thing to see David De Gea is without a club in the current days. He's basically productive for his former club, Manchester United
David De Gea doesn't want to reduce his market value.

According to Fabrizio, Genoa will no longer pursue De Gea for reasons we already know and Genoa's next plan will be to try to recruit Pierluigi Gollini from Atalanta and is currently undergoing a medical.
This might make more sense than making an offer to a player who is arrogant and demands a very high price.
De Gea should be happier that there is still a club that believes in him but it is De Gea himself who has broken that trust.

Pierluigi Gollini might be more suitable as an alternative to replace the goalkeeper who has just left the club.

Sometime, we as humans, mostly sane individuals should use our tongue to count our teeth, and that is what I mostly expect from David de gea, but he is not doing that, since he left Manchester united he hasn't had a club he is plying his trade because his salary demand is too high, something that has really gotten me surprised, because he should have known by now that their are few clubs that can afford such high salary earner, and since such clubs aren't coming for his signature, the logical thing to do is for him to reduce his demand if he truly want to continue being a professional footballer, because for him to stay without a club for two seasons now, is absolutely disastrous to his career.

Lastly, just as you rightfully pointed out, it's only clubs from Saudi Arabia that would want to spend so much money on him now, because am quite sure that top clubs in Europe wouldn't spend so much on a goalkeeper salary right now, so the best thing he should do to salvage his failing career is for him to reduce is wage demands, so that smaller clubs can afford him.

Genoa must have considered their decision when they let Josep Martinez go to Inter Milan and as we can see now they still have 3 goalkeepers in the squad meaning if they don't find a new goalkeeper in this transfer window it's not a big problem there are still other goalkeepers who can be relied on. I wonder why they are trying to sign De Gea even though we know the reason De Gea left Manchester United was his salary, could it be that Genoa thought that after a season without a club De Gea would ask for a lower salary?

We all know De Gea still has great abilities as a goalkeeper even though he is 33 years old it's just that salary is the main obstacle for every club that fails to bring him in. De Gea only chance of earning a high salary is to move to the Saudi Pro League while clubs from other leagues will not be willing to pay more for older players.
Genoa can rely on the goalkeepers they have in their squad after letting Josep Martinez go to Inter Milan, giving the goalkeeper they still have a chance is better than bringing in David de Gea who wants a bigger salary than what they are offering. It seems David de Gea has forgotten his age, he is now 33 years old and has been out of the game for a year. The offer from Genoa was a bright spot for him to return to playing, but because he felt he was a great goalkeeper, he still wanted a large salary.

If he wants a big salary, he can get it in the Saudi Pro League, there he can get what he wants including other facilities offered. At the age of 33, it is very difficult to find a club that is willing to fulfill all his wishes, it seems he will return to training alone if his salary is not lowered.

You are right, it seems that Genoa are not in a condition that requires them to quickly look for a new goalkeeper because they still have 3 goalkeepers in their squad. I just found out about this. This means that previously Genoa had 4 goalkeepers in their squad. But I don't understand their steps in immediately making an offer to De Gea even though in the end it doesn't seem to go smoothly. Maybe Genoa will also plan to release their other goalkeeper. Because one of their goalkeepers, Daniele Sommariva, seems to only have 1 season left at Genoa. Meanwhile, the other two goalkeepers still have quite long contracts because some still have contracts until 2026 and 2027.

It seems that the large salary that De Gea wants is indeed a factor that makes other clubs not approach this player. Because so far I think it's rare to hear an offer for De Gea has been reported. But last season it was reported that a number of Arab clubs were interested in De Gea. But I haven't heard back this season. Or maybe I missed it.
