De Gea back? is this real? of course it will still be news that makes us curious. Smiley

As has been reported if De Gea will go to Italy to sign a contract with Genoa and with this he can enjoy his activities as a professional football player again. It is not easy for a goalkeeper who is still good enough for the European level and I hope this can give a different color to his career.

His rest period is enough and it's time. De Gea must return because his career is not over yet. He is still 33 years old. For a goalkeeper, that age is still in the best form with a level of reflex movement that has not decreased.
Rather than anchoring in the Saudi Professional League, it is better for David De Gea to land in Italy and sign a contract with a Serie A club even though Genoa.
The news about De Gea if the source is Marca, in my opinion the closeness to reality is closer.
Finally, there was a European team that proposed David De Gea after many offers from Arab Clubs and he rejected it now the opportunity is still there despite having to take a long absence from his career as a goalkeeper.
As he will soon sign his contract it seems from some news that their closeness is quite close meaning that there is an imminent agreement with Genoa, this club is also not too bad last season to be in the middle of the table.
I don't know if there's a drop in form or not we can judge now, maybe before Serie A starts we'll see this breaking news because obviously we want to know how he's performing.

Maguire remaning in Manchester United increases their defensive options. Maguire has improved, not a bad choice of player to still keep.
Even if Maguire performance has showed positive improvement. I personally think his performance is still below the level what we expected. Maguire has the highest salary of the defender in Man United, Man United bought him with huge money. This player should show something special in the field, but mostly he showed a controversial thing. If I were Man United board, I will prefer selling Maguire because he is mostly used as a substituted player in Man United squad now. Since Man United already has Yoro, I guess Man United will plan to set Lisandro Martínez and Leny Yoro as their main centre-backs.

This can be the lineup of Man United for the season 2024-2025

Robin Le Normand from Real Sociedad move to Atletico Madrid.
He's not a superstar and not the best player in Real Sociedad, but he has good passing skill and mostly won in aerial duels. He's 27 years old and it cost only 40 Million Euros, a good signing by Atletico Madrid.
I think he will shine in Atletico Madrid and I won't be surprised if Premier League teams will interested with him.
Atletico Madrid has got a great defender. Le Normand is one of strong defenders in La Liga, I've been monitoring this defender fin the recent years. I actually expect this defender to join Real Madrid, unfortunately Real Madrid seems to have no interest in him. 27 years old is a prime age for a footballer, he surely will be easy to shine directly in Atletico Madrid. I think Atletico Madrid is lucky to sign him because there should be many teams interesting in him.

If this process goes well then it is certain that De Gea will not waste his time anymore to continue doing individual training and he can provide his experience to a different league that he has never visited. I think Genoa has made the right move by recruiting De Gea after their previous goalkeeper Josep Martinez joined Inter some time ago.
Seeing David De Gea return back to football will be one of the best football news in this summer transfer window especially to lovers of the Spanish goalkeeper. De Gea was one of the best goalkeepers in the English Premier League during his time at Manchester United which was why I wasn't expecting him to find it difficult in getting a new club but to my surprise, he failed to secure a contract with another club after he left Manchester United last summer. Genoa though will not provide him with the chance of playing in any European competition next season but it'll not be a bad move for him to join the Italian Serie A club instead of staying without a club.

I think De Gea returning back to what he knows how to do best is a good news to him and to all the Lovers of football especially to those he really entertained with his good goal keeping skills because I could still remember how he helped my team Manchester United during their worst performing days he made some crucial saves to keep the club not being humiliated even when they play against smaller teams.

To be honest I wasn't expecting him to stay without a club since leaving Manchester United I was thinking he would move to Saudi Arabia to go and play for money and retire from there but seeing that he's heading to Italy to play for Genoa shows how much he loves playing at least he's got the opportunity to prove himself once again in the league who knows if he will move to a bigger team where he will get the opportunity to play in the champions league again, good luck to him.

Napoli are willing to accept Lukaku plus money in exchange for Osimhen to go to Chelsea and I think this will the best signing the Blues will do if it goes through because they are finally addressing their problem and going for it which is in the area of attack. I don't really understand why Todd Boehly is dragging his feet on this transfer and hasn't splashed money yet cause this is a fair deal for me. From how clubs are looking for the services of good strikers, such an offer will be gobbled up without thinking and I hope they don't lose out on this one.
Chelsea need to get a striker that every EPL club will be afraid of and Osimhen fits that bill because he's not only strong, he's fast and his aerial prowess is top notch, at least Man City won't be the only boasting of such an ability thanks to having Haaland.

Where will Victor Osimhen go PSG or Chelsea?

Victor Osimhen wants to leave and Napoli wants Lukaku while PSG is still negotiating with Napoli who knows how much Napoli wants to give PSG a price tag maybe this is a little tough?
Chelsea are interested in Osimhen but they don't want to pay a high clause, even though we know Chelsea always buy players at fantastic prices but for Osimhen I think it's worth fighting for because he is a reliable sticker.
I think Napoli must want the clause to be redeemed by the club that is interested.

If it was last season, that could possibly happen because Osimhen really played impressively throughout the 2022/2023 season. But if that's the case now, it seems like there won't be many clubs willing to pay that much for Osimhen because his performance dropped quite drastically last season. With a release clause of that size, it seems like only PSG can make that happen because they are used to it and they also don't care too much about the big value if they already want a player that they really need.
Looking for sources about Victor Osimhen's clause of up to 130M EUR is quite high, maybe the closest to PSG they seem everything that Napoli wants, maybe just waiting for an agreement, the rest we don't know yet.
Since Napoli left Spalletti, the team has dropped dramatically, including the players not appearing more dominant anymore, maybe a little influence from the coach's ineffective tactics but for now Osimhen's price tag is still high because it is indeed hindered by the Clause.

We have not heard news if Osimhen is willing to play for Chelsea, but if Chelsea is willing to pay Osimhen's transfer fee than what Paris Saint-Germain is offering, it is possible that Osimhen will eventually play in the Premier League. especially as reported if Osimhen is more interested in playing in the Premier League, only, with Chelsea he will not play in the Champions League as Osimhen wants. the latest news from Fabrizio Romano, if Napoli continues to look for a solution for Victor Osimhen because they want to bring in Lukaku as soon as possible. but Osimen has said yes to PSG, but the agreement is claimed to be only a standby for one club. let's just monitor the drama of the Napoli striker transfer, and which club is willing to pay the transfer agreement to Napoli.

Very interesting, because the three teams associated with Napoli both need a striker who can be relied on as a goal machine in their team squad. it's just that any club that is eyeing Osimhen is not willing to pay the transfer value of the release clause at Napoli. if I may speculate, it seems that Osimhen will be closer to Paris Saint-Germain in the end. however, if Arsenal are also interested in bringing Osimhen back. I hope there is an agreement between The Gunnes and Napoli.

It looks like Nico Williams is likely to stay for another season because of promising his brother Iñaki Williams.

https://www.instagram.com/p/C9-VTGkOrVj/

It isn't guaranteed yet but many other sources also started to write this. This would make Barcelona and the fans devastated for sure.  Sad  Because Williams signing would make a big difference for the team. We watched him and Yamal in Euro 2024. They were the best attacking duo honestly. Barcelona is about to miss the chance to bring them together for the long term, at least for now.

Good news, and this was because im not a fan for this transfer. Nico will help Barcelona's attack. But, I like this news. It will not distract Laporta from fixing their finances and waste money on new recruits.

There are many tasks that have not been done by Laporta, like trying to sell Vitor to another club. Barcelona is financially bad, and it's kinda weird if the club still forces to sign Nico from Bilbao. Once again, Barcelona's offer for Leipzig has shown it lacks money to buy a new player.

Also, recently Vitor has rejected Saudi's approach toward him.

Source: https://www.barcablaugranes.com/2024/7/29/24208563/barcelona-striker-vitor-roque-turns-down-al-hilal-approach

It means no money will come to Barcelona's pocket. Then, Barcelona can now think about how to restructure their financial.

This means Real Madrid would be even more comfortable in the La Liga.

True, but it depends on how Flick can maximize Barcelona's squad to compete with Real Madrid.

I was reading the latest news on Roma, and it seems that Here we are, Matias Soulé is ready to begin his adventure at Roma, I don't know if it was good for Juventus to deprive themselves of such an important player, he's a great player in my opinion, they have an agreement has been reached with Juventus for 26 million euros plus four bonuses. A great investment on the part of Roma which this year could really hurt, a big coup in addition to the one already made with Le Fée
If an agreement from both parties has been reached, of course both will also benefit each other because Juventus will also get money to be able to buy other players in their front line position. As for AS Roma itself, they do need some great players to support their strength next season because Roma is a good team and must be able to rise better in order to achieve extraordinary results next season. In addition, the amount of the agreement is quite reasonable for a player like Matias Soulé.

The release clause is too high for other clubs considering Osimhen declining performance, PSG may not care about Napoli asking price because they really need a classy striker. Napoli need to reconsider PSG offer because if Osimhen performance declines further in the next season, then the price will be even lower. The money generated from Osimhen release could be used to recruit Lukaku who is a target for their new coach, this opportunity must be taken advantage of because Napoli could bring in more than one new player from the proceeds of Osimhen sale.
Napoli and Osimhen are in a dilemma, Osimhen, who has performed very impressively in the last two seasons, is currently headed for the exit door from Napoli, while Napoli, who continue to target buying Lukaku, must actually had to postpone their desire at this time because their notyet succeeded selling Osimhen to another team, the price constraint is of course an obstacle for Napoli to be able to sell Osimhen quickly, especially now that the teams that were previously interested in recruiting Osimhen has switched to other targets for them to recruit, including PSG, indeed in financial terms of course PSG will have no difficulty to pay Osimhen at the price requested by Napoli, but it seems that PSG are now starting to be careful in spending their money and don't want to spend money rashly to buy a player who is not worthy the price of 130 million.

It seems that the negotiations with Genoa were not successful, and the deal will not take place due to De Gea's high demands, it is strange to see a goalkeeper of such a level without a team. Genoa noted that they may return to this issue, but only if De Gea's demands are not so high. 33 years is not so old for a goalkeeper, and I would even say that Genoa is a little below his level, but he has been without a club for a whole season, this is bad because he does not have regular practice and in this case it may be more difficult for him to find a team.

Atalanta's secret is Pierre Gasperini and everything else is built around what Gasperini needs. Atalanta sell any player if it brings profit and you have written great players: Kulusevski, Bastoni, Mancini and even without them Atalanta could win the Europa League.
Recently Atalanta quietly sold Alexei Miranchuk for 15 million euros, even though he had a good season, but since Atalanta will make a profit on this deal, they sold the player.
It will be the same with Koopmeiners, when Juventus will offer a little more than 45 million.
It doesn't matter who they buy or who they sell, Gasperini knows who he can work with, and that's the most important part. Plus, even as a Head Coach he knows that he can't make everyone keep staying at the team, he knows that some players will be sold, and some will be just not signed back when their contract ends, no team goes 25 to 25 from one season to another.

You have to have some turnover and you are going to get some other players. Now, sometimes you get better, you sell some players and get someone and that new player turns out to be better, sometimes you get worse, because you are lacking a great player you relied on.

However, when you have a team like Atalanta, and a manager that has been there for such a long time, you realize after a while that Gasperini plays a certain style of football and you end up getting a lot better at it, which is why I think it's quite important to make sure that you deal with something much better if you get players that fit his system. Gasperini has been there for so many years and finally won them something big, and if he keeps this up then I am not sure if Serie A is out of question, they could definitely win it if they keep getting better like this.

Lol this is a tough situation for every team even though they all need it, Napoli need money and Lukaku and PSG need Osimhen to replace Mbappe on the other hand Chelsea also need Osimhen to complete their squad it's just that there is no agreement, I have to say that Chelsea should have had the advantage in this situation they can use 2 options if they want to reach an agreement but unfortunately Chelsea are still looking for more profitable opportunities.

If Napoli still insist on releasing Osimhen, I think PSG is the team closest to bringing him in, but Napoli must lower Osimhen's price a little lower to around 90 million + added release clause, for example Napoli will get % money if PSG releases Osimhen to another club next season or another bonus if Osimhen brings the Champions League title to PSG well, clauses like this are normal.

Sadly Genoa is an unknown team, although it's good to see he back. I guess his career will end in Serie A, because only this league that the top teams want to hire old players, De Gea still has a chance to move to Inter, Milan or Juventus.

I bet Osimhen will join PSG, Chelsea already have too many players, it's crazy for them to sign new players.

PSG has a money since they no longer pay big salary for Mbappe and they're need a player like Mbappe, a fast player and has a sense to score goals.

Como is trying to build their team to fight against first tier Italian teams, since June they already sign 9 players so far, there are few popular players like Varane from Manchester United, Alberto Moreno, Pepe Reina and Andre Belotti. They're already old especially Pepe Reina, 41 years old. They're also sign a rising star player from Iraq which is Ali Jasim.

We will see how good is Como, this is the first time they will play in Serie A.

It seems COMO has a limited budget to recruit the new player. Despite the fact that COMO's owner is the wealthiest owner among all of Serie A club owners. Therefore, with the limited budget, I think their signings are not all bad. Though, many new players are old, like Belotti and Pepe Reina.

I have no big expectations for COMO at this moment, and they're good enough to become Monza 2.0. Let's see how Fabregas will maximize the available players to compete in Serie A.

It will be so good if they can finish in the mid-position and stay in Serie A much longer.

Yes Como is one of the clubs that was promoted to Serie A, they managed to get a place to be able to feel how the competition is in Serie A. They know very well the opponents they will face in Serie A, of course it will be different from the opponents they face in Serie B, therefore they do not want to miss the opportunity to include new players in the squad list to help them provide a tight competition in Serie A later.

As a promoted club they immediately want to show that they really deserve to be in Serie A, in other words it is not luck that can bring them to the highest caste of Italian football, but it is purely because they play well that they managed to be there. I will not target something high for them, being in the middle of the standings I also think is a good first step for them. One of the things they prepare to be able to achieve that is to bring experienced players into the squad.
