The lack of playing opportunities that Gonzalo Higuain gets keeps him linked to the exit of Juventus, especially he was reluctant to return to Italy and chose to accompany his mother in his native land.

According to Goal report, Higuain is said to have almost certainly left the J Stadium and will continue his football career in the United States.

Higuain was a great player but he’s getting older now so a move to the MLS might suit him, he’ll get paid a lot & it’s an easier, lower standard out there.

It looks like FC Bayern is also interested in the 16 year-old midfielder Benicio Boaitey. Liverpool, Manchester United and FC Barçelona are also interested in signing him. Boaitey has declined another contract with West Ham United and is expected to leave the club in the summer.

Bayern are among several top teams showing interest in highly rated West Ham United starlet Benicio Boaitey (16) [@SPORT1]

I just wish Real Madrid never wasted their money on Hazard and Jovic, and instead prepared ti buy Mbappe and Haaland. I know one of the deals might go through, but Real Madrid might not be able to land on both players thou It would be a  nice dream to get both of them. If i was to choose between the 2, I would choose Mbappe.

As a Barca supporter I always hope to see Real splash more and waste more. I know they get good players, but usually overpriced IMO (and yes we've done the same thing too) but I can't wait to see them run themselves into the ground with expenses. I actually do hope you get Mbappe and Haaland AND overpay for both;)

@JeromeTash I’m not sure about Jovic but if Madrid can get Hazard back in shape, and keep him fit then he’ll be a nightmare for all the defenders. @slaman29 I don’t think RM is buying Mbappe or Haaland in this summer transfer window, because they’re only keen to buy Pogba, however the big question remains will Manchester United agree to sell him?.

Real Madrid will prioritise signing Paul Pogba ahead of Erling Haaland, according to AS.

Dortmund sensation Haaland remains an option in the future, however, and the speculate the Norwegian will become a priority in the summer of 2022.

AS also suggest that United will go in for Jadon Sancho with the money in their pocket from the sale of Pogba, who has also been linked with a return to Juventus.

Considering the age difference, I doubt PSG or Barcelona would be interested in a swap deal. Author and Veratti are 23 and 27 respectively, and are both mainstays at their clubs. Pjanic (30 years) is good fit at either club but a swap deal is unlikely to happen, the player however seems keen on a move to Barcelona, one of the names that have been rumoured to be open to a swap deal is Jean-Clair Tobido who is currently on loan from Barcelona at Schalke.

Teams will do a lot of swap on the next 2 markets sessions with overvaluations of players and no money spent.

This is the only way they have to generate fake money to be safe for the Financial Fair Play and the COVID crisis.

For example Juve and Barca could swap those 2 players for 60m and both teams will be happy signing a +50m € for the Financial Fair Play.

To me on these sessions we will see a lot, A LOT of these exchanges.

If Pjanic is going to Barca, Juventus will probably have Arthur.
If Pjanic is going for PSG, who will get Juventus? Verrati? maybe.

OK I'm probably okay if Werner comes to Liverpool. Not particularly a fan overly but if it's true Klopp admires him, then okay I can definitely see him playing in the team but won't be disappointed if it doesn't come together.

The Athletic suggests Grujic, Shaqiri and Harry Wilson out so they can buy him for €55. Meh, not worth that much is he? Not if we have to sell WILSSOOOOONNN.

Pjanic according to media have refused Chelsea.
In his mind he wants Barcelona but Juventus is listening only if Arthur will be a part of the deal otherwise Pjanic could leave for PSG. Pjanic already played in France and he has a lot of supporters there.

Jorginho probably will not come to Juventus because they need to do a new deal with Chelsea cause Pjanic is out of the equation.

I can't see a team with Pjanic and Verrati.

Hazard is good...  Great even.  And has the potential to be even greater imo.  Just give him some time I guess.  It's his fault why he been underperforming at the start of the season.  He went in during the summer 25 lbs overweight, got injured a couple of times and hasn't had the time to really gel in with the squad yet.

When he is great, he is very great,,, but I never seem to be able to forget the time he won player of the season and then became a huge flop the very next season for the WHOLE season. He recovered but seems to be like this seesaw guy with maybe a slightly weak mentality,,, which explains the overweight (so obvious when he played). Whoever buys him always has to take care of him extra it feels.

Does anybody want to make some small bets on the transfers vs me?  Maybe 5 to 10 bucks on a few select players I'll be choosing.  The lines will come from Oddschecker or direct from a bookie where everyone can verify.

I think Mbappe is true world class, if I was a Barca fan I wouldn’t like to see him join Real. Haaland though is an old school target man, he scores goals but I really don’t think he’s a typical Real player.

New information about the transfer of Pjanic this summer, it seems that he is still going to Barcelona, according to Mundo Deportivo from Spain.
Leonardo, sports director of Paris SG, contacted Pjanic but he refused and said he decided to go to Barcelona.
His dream is to play with Messi  Grin

^ the prestige of wearing the coveted number 10 jersey, coupled with being in his home country could be enough to lure Sane to Bayern. Manchester City are at the moment not going to compete in the next two UCL seasons (except that rule is countered) and every top player wants to play in the top competition.

I was not much into football before Covid 2019, but this break has given me to explore some other sports and started watching this game. Somehow has started to develop the flair for the game and being watching just some of the best clips and games so that thrill remains at its peak . Yes, No 10 players are some exceptions in those leagues as their game is to the next level itself I feel at times the way they doge and clear the goal.

Alternative to Upamecano - Real Madrid want Gabriel Magalhães

https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/news/view?id=360984

if Upamecano doesn't comes to real madrid, which i don't believe either (a transfer to bayern munich would make much more sense as a Boateng replacement), Magalhães would be the alternative

Not a shock that Neuer stayed, he is definitely the best goalkeeper they had in a long time, sure there was a lot of talks about how ter stegen was better and all that for German national team, but Bayern do not have ter stegen, so keeping Neuer was the best decision. Plus he is the captain as far as I know so it makes no sense to send him away? Or sell him? Or not even renew his contract.

Maybe there was some rough business going on before all of this, but after the pandemic everyone will want to keep their players close by. Anywhere between 15 to 20 million makes sense, that is not like insane amount but its not small neither, its right what he deserves if you ask me.

Some new information today:

The PSG has shown interest in CR7 with its president
Not so long ago Juventus was offered Neymar, probably last year but Juve refused, he couldn't afford it with CR7 in the squad.

In my opinion, if Ronaldo decides to go away, I think he could exchange with him.

Ronaldo is a huge expense it costs 80m/year for Juventus.
If they can Neymar they will save some money and they will have an 8 yo younger player.

The big deal between Juventus and Barcelona seems to have failed, according to the original article in Le Parisien.
Pjanic wants to leave the club because Sarri no longer wants him and Barcelona was the first choice.
Everything allegedly failed because Arthur Melo refused to participate in that Exchange.
Paris SG reportedly took the opportunity and had already contacted Pjanic.
What awaits us next in this saga?  Grin Grin

Where will eventually go Pjanic?
Very difficult question right now.

I feel like paying over 50 million euro for a player who is 30 years old and will be 33 when he ends his contract isn't really a feasible idea.
30 years old to 33yo is usually the age range where football players reach their peak of their career. Let's look at some "30yo or more" football players that are active right now and could very well be in the starting XI of any top team:

Vardy (33, Leicester), Vidal (32, Barcelona), Hummels (31, Dortmund), Kroos (30, Real Madrid), Pique (33, Barcelona), Aguero (31, Man City), Bonucci (33, Juventus), Auba (30, Arsenal), Di María (32, PSG), etc, etc.

50M for one of the best free-kick takers in the world, a midfielder with tons of experience, great passing and vision and tremendous quick thinking on the pitch is a fair price, IMO.
