I don’t know what’s wrong with PSG, I think they need to find hungry players. Neymar & Mbappe are great players but they don’t fight every game for 90 minutes.

Paradoxically, the problem of Paris Saint Germain is the fact of having too much money and overpaying players who, having a very high salary, have no incentive to give 110% every minute they play.

They don't need to overdo it because they already feel accomplished and know that other teams probably won't pay the same amount of money.

However, Jamies Rodriguez is very close to Naples.

FC Sevilla's Pablo Sarabia is gonna join PSG.
His signing and the one of other Spanish midfielder Ander Herrera should be announced next week.

I think that Paris Saint Germain could do better.
If they want to be on top of the European football they need to sign top class players that would stem from popular clubs. I don't want to underestimate Seville but there are better clubs with better players.

Of course they could. They keep doing the same mistakes every damn year, overpaying very average players who bring almost zero to the team. As an example, Paredes cost 47M in January and he's been terrible since.
And these guys refuse to leave when they realize they're just here to warm the bench. Their salary is way too high. They don't wanna go, no other team wants them and Paris is stuck with them.
Herrera is free though (I'm talking about his transfer, not his salary of course).

It's not always about the names and the clubs on where they are playing for sometimes a player is a perfect match for the team that fits in their system, you'd be surprise that some hidden gems starts to bloom in their new club because of how the develop the player for the team. You can also say it the other way around even if they bought world class players it doesn't guarantee them that it will bloom and be their best just like how they performed in their previous club, everytime they buy a new player they are risking their money towards it.

Mou's odds to be the next Newcastle manager was just slashed lower.  I think it's happening guys.
Chek this out: https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/9372793/jose-mourinho-rules-out-newcastle-job-finishing-ninth-not-in-my-nature/

If the objective of the team is to stay in the first half of the table then that's not for me
Exactly what I thought Mou would say if he gets offered a job in a team that's not fighting at least in the top4. Who's next on the list? Big Sam? Pardew?  Grin

Yeah...  Mou's odds dropped to 16 after that comment.  But Arteta's line went higher to 3.  That's even better for Newcastle imho.

Just the fact that Arteta, Mou and now Patrick Vieira (former manager at MLS, New York City FC, which is also owned by City's Mansour) are lined up means that Ashley could be selling.

Edit:  https://m.fortunejack.com/sportsbook//prematch/event/1259939

Lines for EPL clubs to finish at the top 6.  Newcastle at 15 now from 16.5.  Still good imho.

as a Juventus fan I'm happy to hear this rumor because I will see Buffon and Ronaldo playing together as a team but I hope this doesn't make Perin leave Juventus because he is an important asset for Juventus in the future.
I think it is pretty certain that he will leave. Perin deserves more playing team but Wojciech Szczesny is the better player in my opinion so I don't see any other outcome.
Buffon's best days are over, it's sad but that is the way it is. I am afraid that he might make some big mistakes if he plays in a decisive match.
He messed up badly on some occasions in PSG last season.
It makes more sense if Perin leaves Juventus because young players like him have to get more playing time he is a talented player and asset for the Italian country. I also thought the same thing because Buffon was too old to play as a goalkeeper.

Mou's has not too many options. Especially in Premier League. Newcastle with new owners and management can be an interesting project for him, something like Chelsea at the beginning of the Abramovich era.

There is speculation, Neymar going back to Barca, what it will be then with Griezmann? I do not expect Barca to have enough money for two expensive players in the same transfer period. I have not read any news related to him except that they decide to leave ATM.

Mourinho can definitely end up at Newcastle and I have read that article and his comments, but he’s known to change his stance. I’m referring to his comments where he says winning Europa League is not considered as success, and then when he won the same with Manchester United he considered it a success. Neymar is planning to hand in a transfer request, and that will mean Grizeman may end up at another club maybe Manchester United?.

Rabiot will probably announce on 01/07/2019 for Juventus, after the start of the new financial season.

For who doesn't know the financial season ends on the last day of June.

Buffon back to Juventus? well he is quite old maybe even to be the second goalkeeper, I don't know...

He already left as an icon of the club, then he should it leave that way.

He really shouldn't go back to Juventus, for the sake of both parties, at least not as a player.
I don't think there is anything wrong with this because he is very loved by club management and also Juventus fans, Buffon might also understand that if he returns to Juventus there will be more on the bench.

We are seeing athletes have extended careers like never before.  Do you all think Ronaldo will be able to remain a top level player at age 40?

Looking at Roger Federer (37), he is still ranked #3 in the world
Not sure of this is the rigth place to discuss the matter but, you're comparing Tennis with Football  Huh the former is less demanding on a phisical level (stamina, strength, speed, etc) than football. So, IMO I don't think Ronaldo would keep playing for that long, GKs are the only ones who can keep playing at +40yo because, well, they don't really do much (physically) during the 90min of a game.

I think he will end his career at Juventus and even though he is back the coach will not play him too much as a starter because there are players who are more decent in that position like Perin as a young player.

If this will happen, it would be done so as Buffon will be able to retire in his beloved club. After that he is going to take a managerial position and assist the club from this stage. It has happened in many cases before.

An agreement has been reached between Tottenham and Lyon for French international midfielder Tanguy Ndombele. The price would be 72 millions Euros. He could sign a 5 year deal with the Spurs.
French paper L'Equipe says Barca will definitely sign Antoine Griezmann. They're just waiting for his release clause to drop from 200 to 120 millions on July 1st.
