It makes sense for both clubs this deal, I think you mean £70,000,000 though, not £70 Wink

Oops, sorry you are right I mean £70m, thank you for corrections.
Still about Pogba, in today news Juventus want to bring Pogba back, to make this deal happen, Aaron Ramsey will be included on transfer proccess. But Pogba says if he want new challenge, IMO he will prefer to choose other league such as La Liga.

it is actually only a question of time when this transfer will be officially announced

Leroy Sané agrees terms with Bayern - Transfer for less than market value?

That’s about right as a transfer fee, he had a potentially career ending injury last summer so that will be reflected in the price. To be honest after an injury that bad I wouldn’t want my team to take a risk on him.

I still can't believe Pogba worths that much money after all of this time. First of all he is not a young star anymore, dude is 27 years old and yeah he is at the peak of his talent probably because he gained experience playing but at the same time he improved himself yet his body is still young so he is at a peak level, however we all know this dude. He is the same dude he declined to play once, he is the same dude who gets injured all the time, he is the same dude that has been said to have an attitude problem all the time.

I mean after all of that why would you want to pay him that much? I get that Real Madrid had Ramos for almost one and a half decade now, dude has been one of the biggest problematic guys I have seen and made a career in Madrid so maybe if anyone can play at Madrid its Pogba but still the fee sounds too high.

Pogba is very good player,  no doubt about it but just "very good player" and nothing more.
He had potential to become excellent player but because of his character and attitude he will never become another Messi or Ronaldo.
In my opinion he is overpaid.

I'm not sure that is real that someone will exchange Pogba for Ramsey. he is not needed at all in MU, I guess they are learning a lesson with Sanchez, the expensive player without benefit to the team.
If I remember correctly, Juve takes him for free, he can try to sell them to Newcastle, Everton ... It is a maximum with Ramsey.
I think only ManU and Real M can afford Pogba with his budget.

Yes he was a free agent and now he was doing good before COVID.
The ideal is exchange with the team you want the player so you can cut more on the price.

I think Pogba can be taken with

Ramsay+40m

or

D Costa +40m

This will a market session  with a lot of exchanges and loans.

LOL this is unlikely to happen since Ole seems to like Rashford, Martial, James, and Greenwood.
I don't know whether Ole likes those players or not, all i know is that he doesn't have that many options in the squad so he has no choice but to play with the youngters, you know, players that won't make you a league title contender. I don't think there are many managers out there who would refuse to sign Sancho, Maddison, or Werner.

It looks like Thiago just signed a new contract at FC Bayern München. The details of the new contract will be announced during this week.
I thought Barcelona would try to sign him for the next season. I wonder if Thiago was waiting for a phone call from Spain? He took his time to renew his contract with Bayern...

And about Barcelona, Sport cover today:

Lautaro keen on going to Spain. Both teams close to reaching an agreement. Barca are figuring out which players they'll include in this deal.

Ramsey is still a good player that worths a ton of money, dude is also just 30 years old so I don't think his playing days are over or something. He will also play wherever he can because thats a lot of money we are talking about, sure these are still human beings and their emotions matter even if we are talking about millions of dollars but the dude made his decision by declining all those teams that wanted him, so I guess it is only natural that teams could have their feelings about the players as well.

Plus we are talking about sending off to china or qatar or something, this is premier league and serie A and the likes we are talking about, even playing on a team thats on relegation zone is a big privilige if you ask me because these are that big of a deal teams, you get millions of people watching you every game no matter where you play. If you are as good as you say you are, you will have a chance to play wherever you want again.

Pogba's contract will soon end at MU and want to be used by Madrid to bring in this French star. According to news from football.london websites, Madrid will bid Pogba for £ 70. Pogba himself is reportedly challenged to start a new adventure in his career by playing in La Liga will se if Madrid can bring Pogba to Bernabeu?

United would be veeery lucky to get Pogba out of their club this summer and for that price...  Which I don't think is gonna happen.  Grin

It'd be more prudent for clubs to skip the huge acquisitions imo...  with the world being in crisis and all.

Ramsey is good, Arsenal did not quite take him to another level in football and just like you, I also thought he would do well in Juve.

If he's included in the deal, that'll be taking him back to England, now with Manchester United, that's very odd. If this happens, it may be another go-slow in his career, united have very good midfielders, performing really well, Aaron Ramsey will struggle.

I'm not an Arsenal fan, but I've always liked their management under Wenger though I think even he would agree he shares some of the blame for failing to turn potentials like Ramsey into what they deserved. See Ox Chamberlain, how it just turned around for him as soon as he made the switch to Liverpool, and I really, really thought Ramsey deserved a second life in Italy. Makes me sad every time I think about these types of lost players.

Pity about Ramsey if true, I feel bad for the guy, and he seemed to be finally finding some joy again in Torino.

It looks like Thiago just signed a new contract at FC Bayern München. The details of the new contract will be announced during this week.

The German newspaper Bild is reporting on the topic:

Thiago was at Säbener Straße today even though it was a day off for the players. BILD speculates it could be an official appointment with the bosses regarding his new contract [Bild]

Thiago's new contract at FC Bayern is a done deal. The club wants to make an official announcement during this week [Bild & SportBild]

IMHO very good news for Bayern and for Thiago. The 29 year-old midfielder is one of the most important players in Bayern's squad and I am really happy that he extended his contract. Its been seven years since he moved from Barcelona to Bayern... damn time flies...

This is and hard economical time also.

Chiellini and Buffon are fine, we already have strong GK and good defense with DeLigt Demiral (crack) Bonucci, Chiellini can be the 4th defender in easy games, and in case of necessity. (even if his is best season was probably the 2018/2019)

Pogba will probably leave, this is the last year when Manchester can earn money, he is and Juventus objective but to be able to take him Manchester needs to agree and exchange and maybe Paul a cut of his salary.
If I'm not wrong he now takes 17m€ + taxes.

Juventus according to rumors can exchange money plus one between Ramsey or Douglas Costa.

I've been a Chiellini admirer for so long that yeah, logic dictates his best season is probably behind him now. Pogba €1.43 every four weeks so yeah, a cool 17 million in wages. Guys like him will have to take a paycut or never play again, even if the Real deal is true and happens.

Pity about Ramsey if true, I feel bad for the guy, and he seemed to be finally finding some joy again in Torino.

@coinlocket and Coyster: looks like Juventus simply refuses to get any younger, but I don't know, I always like seeing teams age and Juventus take it to quite a special level, wouldn't you say?

Now about Pogba, I HOPE he stays. Every annoying expensive superstar that stays at United for another season makes me happy to see their coffers get smaller and smaller. Not that I dislike the guy but he deserves United =p Or they deserve him =p Won't forget how he plundered points against Citeh!

Bayern has never put too much money on any of their players and I don't think they will make an exception for Sane, no matter how great player he is.
Things are changing and so is Bayern. They will have to if they want to stay competitive and on top. Maybe you are forgetting that Bayern bought Hernandez last summer for €80 million and Pavard for €35 million. Both players are defenders.

The Covid-19 pandemic will surely slow down the crazy transfer spending, otherwise we would see the same by many clubs.

Bayern rarely ever breaks bank, hell I don't want to be "positive racism" here but Germans never do, they are always awesome with their financials, almost all nations in world has deficit, they have profits, a nation with profits in the middle of Europe with that awesomeness, do you know how close to impossible it is, by all means if they didn't do it I would say it would be impossible, but they did it so I can't say impossible.

So, Bayern will either find a player who is at the right amount for them, or they will just not get at all, I rather see them play a youth star they have for a year until they get someone over them paying 100 mil on some player. Sane however deserves a lot of money, City don't but Sane does, like if you get him, you are set for at least another 5 years, that dude can play and make a difference.

Rashford    Maddison    Sancho

LOL this is unlikely to happen since Ole seems to like Rashford, Martial, James, and Greenwood. Three new attackers will halt the progress of James and Greenwood. I think they will sell Pogba and get a good left back and a midfielder (perhaps a swap with Adrien).
