It is a midfielder's job to score goals and give assists, isn't it?

Pogba was great player while he played in Juventus. His statistics were poor in the first two seasons in Manchester United but last season was very good with 13 goals and 9 assists in the league. Yes am not his fan and I don't like his attitude some times especially off pitch but just for reference, try to check out his stats in Man united last season. They were not bad at all despite the team having a bad season they would wish to forget as soon as possible.

He is indeed a world cup winner, but please tell me a game that was critical for France and he helped the team winning the match.
Also, we don't train with him and we don't know him personally, but if he was working hard the difference in his performance would be exceptional and would differ a lot from his teammates. I don't see it happening though.
