Manchester United did win to get Leny Yoro but it looks like they are more panicked about increasing their bid considering that their opponent is Real Madrid. Meanwhile, Florentino Perez seems quite relaxed about the transfer of Leny Yoro, who doesn't want to pay more than 35 million euros if the player wants to move to Real Madrid.

Here Manchester United paid €50 million and add ons of €12 million which in total becomes €62 million for Leny Yoro and many people say this player is still not worth that price. The reason is that he is still 18 years young and has one year left on his contract with Lille.

Anyway, apart from all that, there are rumors that are so cruel that Lille will not play Leny Yoro for one season if he doesn't receive an offer from Manchester United and maybe because of that pressure Leny Yoro has to obey Lille to accept a big offer from Manchester United. Shocked

Pep Guardiola to be the next England coach? could this happen? Shocked

Yes, this is still just a rumor circulating and the FA must at least wait until 2025 if they want to start discussing this seriously. This is because Pep Guardiola's contract will end that year and of course we still don't know whether he will extend his contract with Manchester City again or not. Of course, England will be very scary if they are coached by Pep Guardiola and their existing talents will not be wasted.

Following news of Southgate resigning as coach because he failed to lead England to win the Euros this year, it feels like he is self-conscious about his ability to not be able to utilize the golden talent he has.

What do you think? Is Pep Guardiola the right person? Or do you have suggestions for other coaches for England?

Source: https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/pep-guardiola-lee-carsley-fa-england-manager-b2580872.html
It is clear that if Pep Guardiola becomes the coach of the England national team then that would really be a pretty good thing for the England national team. In fact, I think the English national team will truly reach the peak of its glory if Pep Guardiola manages to coach the English national team. And it could be that with Pep's quality, maybe England can end their difficult times when they always fail to win the title.

But this is just a rumor in discussions regarding candidates who could replace Southgate. Jurgen Klopp is even a candidate there. But for Pep, I think he will continue his coaching career until his contract ends at Manchester City. And I doubt Pep will extend his contract at Manchester City because we know Pep always wants a new challenge in a new team after he has achieved good results in his previous team.
Pep guardiola coaching the English national team? No, I really don't think so, I think he is more likely to coach the Spanish national team in the future than the English national team, sometimes I find most of this rumours very hilarious, because some of this potential transfer that is being speculated looks very much unlikely from a broader view, but in this pep guardiola case, I am very much positive that he wouldn't be the manager of the three lions in the nearest future, yes it's very much true that impossibilities is nothing, everything is possible, but I don't see this one happening.

And talking about pep guardiola future at Manchester city, though he might still renew his contract at the club, but nothing is certain yet, he might decide to leave at the end of the season, but if his family is very much ok with the city of Manchester, then I feels like he might stay put, because he might put his family into consideration before making any decisions.

Yes, this can still happen. Pep Guardiola has more than enough class to sit in the hot seat to lead the England team. But the England team must devise an extraordinary plan to recruit coach Pep Guardiola. Accordingly, the England team should consider appointing an interim coach to replace Gareth Southgate to convince Pep Guardiola to take over next year. Because coach Pep Guardiola plans to end his glorious period at Man City at the end of the 2024/25 season, this is the right time.

Do you know what else Pep Guardiola wants to achieve in his football career? When he won all the awards for the club. Of course "Lead the national team and win the World Cup or Euro." That's what I think Pep Guardiola expected. Pep Guardiola's presence can bring a breath of fresh air, helping the England team achieve great success in international tournaments.

Marcus Rashford wants to stay in Manchester United.

After Zirkzee's arrival to accompany Hojlound, Man United continued to add new players. Maigure's instability problems in many matches last season made Ten Hag eyeing his replacement. One of the new players in the Defender position is Leny Yoro. He is 18 years old, playing for Lille, reportedly Man United has to spend €70 million. Reportedly De Light is also a target for Ten Hag, but the condition of Yoro's arrival could delay De Lihgt arrival.

It's not a very good transfer by Manchester United. You know, Manchester United paid 60 million euros for him. It's too much to get an average player. This is a weird transfer by Manchester United. This was because Manchester United is spending €63m for a kid with 1 year left on his contract at Lyon. This is a usual thing in the Premier League. Mancehster as buying club is a laughing stock now.

It was "OK" when Yoro's price was less than €33m, but Manchester United paid €63m for him is a crazy thing. Yoro needs to tell Meguire about how to survive from lots of criticisms by the fans when he played badly. Good luck to Yorō. He must deal with all of the fans and Press when things go bad for him. But, he's lucky to have meguire.
I can't even believe it. Manchester United have priced out a kid with 1 year left on his contract left €63m.

This sounds bad to me. Also, Real Madrid didn’t want to pay over €30m, and PSG not over €45m. But, United paid €63m. This is why i said that's not a very good transfer by United.

Yoro don't worth £63m man utd flashed on him, it's too much for such players that has not been tested in other leagues, he only played in French league one, I hope it goes well for ETH this time, because he spend so much on players and the end up not adding any value for the squad.   No doubt Yoro has the potentials but the English Premier league is a different league that required more strength and stamina.

Yoro has to turned than Real Madrid for Manchester United because of the price nothing more,  if Erik's fails to win the Premier this season after spending such amount of money in the transfer widow he should be shown the exit door.

After bringing in Varane, the Como club has now brought in Pepe Reina to be the goalkeeper. Their seriousness in entering Italy's top division deserves to be appreciated because to truly survive for more than one season requires maximum breakthrough. Bringing competition to Serie A must be even more serious. Maybe after Varane and Pepe Reina there will be additional new players for Como midfield.

Yeah, but he is not English, and a Spanish manager at England feels odd to me for some reason. I do not know why, we have seen different nationality managers at national team all around, it is not a first and won't be a first, but at the same time we are still talking about potential of issues.

I rather keep it English if you ask me, I am not English so I do not have any say in this, not even as a fan because I am not, but in my country if we were looking for a manager, I would have picked someone from the nation itself, there are some good English managers out there anyway, so it wouldn't be impossible to handle that.

The Guardian talks about six candidates to fill the space:

- Eddie Howe (Newcastle looks confident to keep him though)
- Graham Potter (He was good with Brighton but I don't know what he can do with English national team  Sad)
- Mauricio Pochettino (He might be a good candidate maybe)
- Thomas Tuchel (He is said to have given a career break)
- Lee Carsley (I don't have much knowledge about him)
- Jürgen Klopp (Same with Tuchel's situation)

Quote
The trouble here is that Southgate seems to be staying ...

No he isn't, as you can see below.  Smiley  He is no longer England manager officially.

You are right, at this point Pep is not ready to quit club management and switch into National team. Moreover even if he wants to consider managing at a national level it will be Spain and not England. English Fa won't even hire him as they will prefer to hire an English manager. The right time for Pep to go into National team football is not yet here, he is still having a good time in club side and I have this feeling that after his time at Manchester City he will decide to take a break from management same way Klopp just did before considering his next adventure. Many people are already speculating that he won't accept another contract extension in Manchester City after his current contract runs out. But Pep hasn't said anything about this, so it is also possible that he will extend his contract with Manchester City, because he has repeatedly said that he is happy at Manchester.

He is so dependent on Osimhem that the chances of him joining Napoli are very small.
There are no funds available when Osimhem is not bought by another club and I think the option is to play in the Saudi Arabian League.
I am not surprised about Lukaku's situation right now, he is no longer a top striker and Chelsea want to get rid of him as soon as possible. Victor Osimhen to PSG is becoming concrete and we may soon see the deal getting sealed, that is the only way Napoli can be able to fund Lukaku's transfer and sign him from Chelsea.

As for Osimhen, it will be a great move for him to join PSG, they just lost Mbappe to Real Madrid, and Osimhen will be a good addition to the team, he won't be a direct replacement for Mbappe, but he will definitely bolster the team.

Pep Guardiola? He would be a great replacement for Southgate, it shouldn't even be questioned.  Grin  He is one of the best managers in today's football honestly however there is a problem, he isn't available.

I mean he has been giving some signals like he might leave Manchester City in a couple of years. However I don't feel like it will be this summer. The fans would be shocked for sure if it happens.

But let's say it happened... Guardiola is very familiar with English players thanks to managing Manchester City. I would believe in his player choices 100%. He wouldn't make nonsense strategies in games either.  Smiley

The trouble here is that Southgate seems to be staying, he signed back, and he is going to keep the job, sure he missed yet another chance, but federation sees him as someone who at least gets to finals, and they fear that if they fire him and get someone else, the new manager may not even reach the finals, so they think it is better to keep him and lose at finals than get someone else and lose at quarter finals. Which, they are not too wrong about, feels like they have a manager who knows the team as well, a very boring football but at least they are getting some results.

Reportedly De Light is also a target for Ten Hag, but the condition of Yoro's arrival could delay De Lihgt arrival.

Leny Yoro officially signs with Man United and it puts an end to all speculation about him. Previously, he seemed reluctant to accept Man United's offer because he really hoped that Real Madrid would ask for his hand, unfortunately, it didn't turn out the way he had hoped because Real Madrid didn't want to spend a lot of money on the signing.

Although Man United has now got a new defender but, Man United seems to really want De Ligt as much as Leny Yoro. Mason Greenwood transfer to Marseille, would probably make De Ligt's signing more likely to happen.
Leny Yoro has become a contest between Manchester United and Madrid, Madrid who previously targeted Yoro to replace Nacho who went to the Arab League actually canceled the recruitment of Yoro because it was too expensive, Madrid withdrawal made Manchester United opportunity to recruit Leny Yoro wide open and now Yoro has been inaugurated as one of Manchester United new players for next season, Yoro is still very young and Manchester United dares to gamble by paying 50 million euros plus an additional 12 million euros at the moment, I think the attitude taken by Manchester United to recruit Yoro is a bold step that by Madrid will not take at the moment, if I am a Manchester United fan then I personally do not expect too much from Yoro at the moment, although he is indeed a talented player but his experience in the tight competition is still very little, so expecting him to take care of Manchester United defense next season will be very risky.

The arrival of Leny yoro at this time seems to make Manchester United no longer interested in bringing in de light, apart from the fact that both have the same position but the 50 million euros requested by Munich are still considered by Manchester United at this time, if I become ten hag then instead of getting yoro alone will prefer to recruit de light much cheaper but have better experience than yoro at this time.

I read interesting news about Rabiot, Juventus is waiting to understand Adrien Rabiot's intentions. The Frenchman saw his contract end on June 30th and is in all respects a free agent.  his intentions are to leave and find another path that will take him to other championships, there was talk of AC Milan to stay in Serie A, it is a championship that he knows anyway and would have no problems integrating or there was talk of Real Madrid but we have to see if Los Blancos are really interested in giving 7.5 million a year to a player like that
In my opinion, Juventus was ready to give him such a salary, but if they allow him to leave as a bargaining agent, then it is obvious that they will lose more from this. And if Rabiot became a free agent and Real were interested in him as an option to replace Kroos, then I think that for Real it was the best decision to get such a player without paying a transfer fee, in which case they could even increase his salary a little to lure him to to yourself. I didn’t see that Milan was interested in him, but I’m sure that he can now interest a lot of teams.

I agree. This is Klopp's final decision. I don't expect him to return to his job all of a sudden after saying that he would take a break. He even stated he might not return anytime in the future. But I would really like to see him back one day as he is a really valuable manager.  Smiley  His journey with Liverpool and Dortmund was so special. Both teams are grateful for his work in these years.

I believe he could think of returning after a break like 1-2 years. He managed teams for 20+ years. It is a really huge career for sure. But maybe he could return for one last time if he misses being in competitive football.

If Jürgen Klopp should return to a club as a coach at some point (he will pause for at least a few years), I would like him to take over a traditional club where there is a big fan base that has been waiting for the title in the league for ages and there he should then lead the respective club to the title. I wouldn't want a strong club for
him like City/Madrid/Barca.
Jürgen Klopp has been in charge of Liverpool continuously for a long time and he left Liverpool this season and he may be on a break for a long time and from the break he may take charge of one of the teams and start the next phase of his coaching career again. As he is a legendary manager he should follow all other managers in this case he can only take charge of teams that are already in a very good position. He has always put Liverpool in a good position as long as he has been in charge for Liverpool. But the last few seasons haven't gone too well, but if he were to start his career again, he would try to take charge of a club that would be more likely to succeed. So that at the end people appreciate his career.
Klopp may want to work again after resting for a few years. Even at that time, I'm sure he will receive offers from top teams. I like Klopp's management very much. He was a coach who brought Liverpool together. Now it's time to rest and then he will decide whether to work again or not. I think making time for his family is his priority right now.
Klopp is a really great manager and he is always one step ahead in his duties. He always has a good plan about how to improve his club and how to do well against the opponent. Seeing that Klopp has left the responsibility of Liverpool, many people are saying that Liverpool removed him from the responsibility of their club after seeing his performance in the last few seasons, but this is not the case. Klopp could have served Liverpool for a few more seasons if he wanted, but he didn't want that. He wanted to rest and reinvent himself and reinvent himself to bring success to a team again. I must agree with you that when he comes out of retirement to take charge of a new team, he will definitely get a manager's offer from a good team.

I heard a lot of people saying that Manchester United competed with Real Madrid for Yoro and Manchester United won by signing the player, we should all remember that Real Madrid is the best team in the world, if Real Madrid leaves a player for the team it means that they are not much interested in the player, Yoro wants Real Madrid but I don’t think Real Madrid wants the player as the player wants to play for the team, Real Madrid doesn’t want to spend money on a player that his contract will end in 2025 and from my point of view Real Madrid still has another defender that they are targeting that is why they allow the player to sign for Manchester United.

We all know that Real Madrid is capable of signing any player, Real Madrid can sign any player in any amount the club wants but it seems like Real Madrid wants another defender that will be better than Yoro, Real Madrid is targeting Saliba the arsenal player and I believe that the player will be very happy that Real Madrid wants him, so those who are thinking that Manchester United win Real Madrid by signing Yoro should know that Real Madrid is not that serious to sign Yoro and if Real Madrid is willing to sign him he will have been a Real Madrid player since weeks ago.

Modric has already passed all the expected experience to the young Madrid midfielders. It is just that Toni had been announcing his retirement from last season even when Madrid begged him to sign for one more season. Having Toni and Modric leave the same season would have some negative vibe in the team no doubt. Besides, they both require and deserve different and loud sent forth. So, Modric has to bow for Toni to leave.

As you have predicted, he (Modric) will not be having much playing time. And I also think his presence in the team will tame both Vini and Mbappé and then, Mbappe will understand the team well before he will receive the No 10 jersey from Modric.
I also think Modric is staying at Real Madrid because team wants to give him and Toni Kroos special goodbye. It makes sense that team does not want to lose both experienced players at same time. Modric can still help team by guiding younger players. Even if he does not play as much as he used to his leadership and experience can still make a positive difference. It's a good decision by Real Madrid to make sure transition is smooth and to honor two great players.
Toni Kroos has retired and perhaps he will share his experiences off the field, but Modric will have the chance to play in Real Madrid for one more year as a great player who will help the players both on and off the field. He will most likely remain a substitute, but I am sure he will contribute a lot to Real Madrid as a player who will step in when the team needs it most.

Leni Yoro has flown to the UK to sign for Manchester United.
https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/5626457/2024/07/17/leny-yoro-manchester-united-transfer/
They say the sum of 50 million euros for Lille and 7 million for Yoro, plus bonuses and that's another 2 million.
Of course 50 million for an 18 year old defender is a lot, but if the potential will be revealed, then a contract for 7 years will keep such a player in MU for at least a couple of years and then MU will be able to sell him more expensive.
Now 50 mln are given even for players who played 1-2 successful seasons, so apparently there is nothing to be surprised about, except how Ten Hag kept his position as head coach of MU.
It's crazy that Manchester United want to spend a lot of money for this unknown player, he's already 18 years old, didn't have a good performance for Lille and didn't included in senior team, while Yamal and Mbappe already play for their national team since 17-18 years old.

Manchester United is gambling for signing Yoro.
Manchester United have a long history of spending big on players who then either end up on loan or sitting on the bench. At best, these players just don't live up to the hype and play below average. We can remember the transfers of Marcial, Anthony, Sancho, Amrabat and Mount.
It seems to me that there are people in the management of Manchester United who are interested in constantly buying very expensive players to apparently take a part of the deal for themselves, because it is very difficult to understand why Manchester pays so much for many players.
