I dont know why they want to get him. He is a good player but just old and not like he was before. He can help them but it depends how many games he can play. If he is not injured he can help them but its a question if he can get used to the italian football aswell. For Walker its better to go on loan then to sit on the bench

Milan current defense is unstable, maybe that's what they considered bringing him in. Besides, I think Walker extraordinary ability has not completely decreased, it's just that the tight competition at Man City means he's not always played.

If you offered 30 million on a single payment directly, then yeah there is no doubt that Galatasaray would accept that in a heart beat, obviously that's a transfer they would love to do. However, if West Ham offered, 15 million, plus 15 million bonuses, and also the 15 million would be paid as 3 million per year for 5 years type of deal? Then that type of transfer is of course not accepted, makes no sense at all.

I am not saying that was the offer, hell this is the first time I am hearing about the offer, but I can see that he is one of the highest scorers on that team, and I would say a player from Turkish league, who is the highest scorer of the last 2 years champion and this years leader, and Europa league unbeaten team, should be worth at least a good amount. Yes you are right. While this move might excite some fans, it will surely raise questions of their recruitment strategy. Personally I think this signing highlights Chelsea's focus on improving their defense, even though they have so many young and promising defenders capable of stepping up when required. Instead of Chelsea to prioritize positions that they already have depth in, Chelsea could have concentrated in strengthening other areas within the squad such as a good back up option for Cole Palmer, a consistent goal scorer and a good back up option for goalkeeper. In my opinion, signing too many defenders could lead to underutilizing their existing talent, hindering their development and potentially causing frustration within the squad.

The management of Chelsea under the current owner of Chelsea football club Todd Boehly is both into entertainment and another level of business with Chelsea, which is basically into buying of young players and grooming them to sell when their values must have have increased thereby targeting to make huge profits from selling these players at their pick time. Skriniar, Diego Carlos... They are taking really good steps to make their defense stronger. They really needed it because of the vulnerabilities in the area.

I don't see the same effort from their arch rival Galatasaray in this transfer window. They are also very bad at defending. We saw it against Dynamo Kyiv yesterday as another example. Against the weakest team of the Europa League.

Apart from signing defenders, Galatasaray should think of replacing their goalkeeper Muslera as well. As far as I know this is his last season though. He is very old now and it is time for them to make this change already.
