Management expects targets to be achieved. If a manager has been given the trust to do his job within a set time limit, then the decision to sack or retain him is theirs. The manager is hired on an agreed salary. If management deems his performance is not producing results, then it is appropriate to sack him regardless of who the manager is.
Erik ten Hag deserves to be sacked. That's good news. I heard that Ruud van Nistelrooy will be the interim manager of Manchester United. In my opinion his ability is better than Erik ten Hag. I saw and read several times that he was the opposite of ten Hag in terms of changing strategy when Manchester United played.
I welcome Manchester United's move to appoint van Nistelrooy as Erik ten Hag's replacement, even if it is only temporary. If he is capable, making him a permanent player would be the most sensible option later.
This is such good news for MU fans that it's even hard to believe. After such a huge amount of time, management's patience has run out..... It's funny that a couple of hours before his sacking, the media started reporting from insiders that the next few weeks are going to be very difficult for him because he's hanging by a thread about being fired, which he denied until the last. It's a shame that MU will have to pay 20 million to Ten Hag, but I'm not sure he deserves it.
