It is obvious that Barcelona is having money problems that are affecting their ability to make important player transfers and fix internal problems. Dani Olmo would probably do better in stable and secure team environment which Hansi Flick coaching could provide. However club money problems especially fact that they spend more than they earn are big hurdle. Selling players they do not need could help bring in some money but it might not be enough to complete transfers like Jonathan Tah which cost a lot of money. Barcelona needs to fix their money problems so they can move forward and compete with other top teams.
For this season, Real Madrid, Barcelona toughest rival is in bad shape, and so Barcelona actually doesn't need to bring in any more players, but the news about the attempt to bring in Jonathan Tah surprised many people and it was bold decision from the team management and we can all just see how they resolve all of this later.
Mistakes in taking steps will complicate the situation, maybe Barcelona could also get into trouble like what happened with Juventus, but everything is still in the planning stage and any changes can be made if their income does not allow them to buy players, not only transfer fees but also player salaries will be big expense for Barcelona.
I will try to follow their developments this time, quite curious about what their actions and solutions will be like.

Yes Onana was a very good goalie before moving to Manchester United, he holds the record for most clean sheet kept in the EPL so far this season and also won the November save of the month, but I’m afraid his errors has overshadowed his good performance at the club. Manchester United fans are questioning his ability as a goalkeeper, his errors in vital matches can't be overlooked simply because he hold he highest number of clean sheet. I think Onana should up his game if he still wants to keep his job at the club.
I have a different view on Onana's blunder in an important match, yes it was his mistake, but he also cannot be fully blamed for the blunder because he was trying to follow the coach's instructions to play a short ball from the back. However, he also needs to correct himself for the mistake and try to perform better in the future, so far Amorim still has great confidence in his abilities because previously he had done something extraordinary for the club he defended.

Recent reports in Manchester suggests that Manchester United have decided to put Marcus Rashford up for sale. According to the statement, it's part of the club's "cultural reboot deemed necessary to transform the club after standards were allowed to decline in more than a decade."
Rashford have been the club's highest paid player for for too long but the England international have failed to contribute as much as he receives. Do you think this decision by the club management is a good one or do you think it might likely backfire and leave them in regret? Let me read your thoughts

Ruben Amorim is a good coach with a proven track record of success and has a good tactical ability and if he feels that Marcus Rashford is not a good fit for his team anymore then that decision was made in in the interest of the club. Rashford has had a mixed performance for so long and for a player of his status it is expected of him to improve his game but I haven't seen any improvement from Rashford for some seasons now and it would be a good idea for the club to sell him and try and raise up funds to be able to buy some quality players that will be able to add value and key into Amorim’s vision for the club.

The club knows what's right for them, after all they are the ones paying Rashford, so they are the ones that know when they are satisfied with his services or not. If in their evaluation and analysis, they found out that Rashford is surplus to requirements, they should sell him. Rashford has declined very well, he hasn't been giving his best to the club anymore, the club need to have a fresh start, just like what Chelsea did and now they are reaping the rewards. I think Manchester United want to emulated that path. They should let Rashford go. let the club bring in new set of players, and let's start seeing something new in Manchester United. Rashford nearly went blank last season, and this season he hasn't been scoring, as all Manchester United fans would have expected. How long will Manchester United continue like this. They should sell Rashford, I'm I support of that.
That's right, Man United need to get rid of players who don't contribute much and often take disciplinary action. I applaud Amorim courage in benching him in the Manchester derby, and fortunately Man United managed to win, Amorim got validation that the decision was right. Rashford does have good talent, but many people consider him a selfish player, who doesn't like to help the defense when the team loses the ball. Personally, I also support Man United releasing Rashford, the profits obtained can be used to recruit other players who fit Amorim needs. Garnacho also has the potential to be released, if he cannot work well with Amorim.

As a Turkish person, even though he played for our opponents, Arda Guler is way too talented to give up this easily. I understand that there are some players at Real Madrid which makes him not get full minutes, and of course he can go to a worse team and play every single game, but that doesn't mean that he will improve the same. The reality is, we could see Arda still be a big part of that team, he is too young, he is 19 years old, and we can see him for a few more seasons, maybe like 2.5 more seasons and then be a started, we don't know if he will be better than the ones they have or not. I believe he can be, and that's why he should stay and play whenever given chance and he does play a lot recently because of injuries as well. If he stays a bit more, and play, after 2.5 seasons, if he still doesn't have the minutes then he can leave, but right now would be way too early.

It can be a smart move to leave Real Madrid for a while. These years are key to a player's development and if he is mostly spending his time sitting on the bench, I think it doesn't mean to give up if there is a club seriously interested in him. I agree that he shouldn't move to a really bad club, but it is not black or white. Leaving Real Madrid when he can still play in the Champions League would probably be the best he can do. He can thrive elsewhere, already has some good experience and might be a viable player for so many other clubs.

But for now I don't think he has what it takes to become a starter anytime soon or at least it will not be easy. It's a bit of a gamble to stay there if that means he will remain a substitution player for too long.

Arda Guler should leave Real Madrid, he cannot be a starter in this team. There are too many big name players in Real Madrid that cannot be benched for him to play. Even if they have bad performances, they will still start in the next game. Real Madrid is a big club and Arsa may want to take his chances there and fight for his spot. I think Arda can decide what’s best for himself.

He was never going to be a starter there, he knew about it t before he signed the contract, he's only a prosper and not a crucial member of the team. The best solution would be to go on loan for to mid table team with less pressure to get more playing time to help his development. He's not going to achieve that on the bench week in, weeks out.
Yep, that's absolutely right !
Arda Güler should need to leave the club. He can never get a chance to show his competence to people because Carlos Angeloti has generally had a policy that he never gives a chance to a youngster even in whatever club he has coached, he didn't like to use a young player and did not keep him as a part of his team. He always preferred just an experienced players. Arda Guler is a young player, he needs to show his talent to the people, despite the player being monitored when he plays in the regular team. But in fact, Angelotti is not ready to trust this young player. He rewards his team with experienced players.

So it's mean to say that Arda Guler should think about another club where he can get a chance to play a full match. If he stays in Real Madrid, I don't think he will be successful, as he will not be able to grow his career. Angelotti always preferred experienced players, not youngsters...

In football, a player that play brilliantly with a team, might be totally the opposite with another club. Onana isn't the exception but he managed to find some stability in Manchester United comparing to his old mate Maguire where you find infinite compilation about his fatal mistakes.. Onana might not continue for a long time with Manchester United in my opinion and he deserves to get another chance in another reputable club if this happens one day.
Meanwhile, Manchester City was surprised by the defeat against Manchester United in the end of the game and Guardiola will have health issues after these catastrophic failures this season!

It's not a good move for player when he is been replace by someone the public think was better. I mean everyone in Manchester United were angry how De Gea was replace by Onana and they were patiently waiting of his mistakes instead of supporting him to do better. All his memes were all over the social media, I'm not sure he was ridicule like Maguire was ridicule that's why ETH never mind what the public was saying, he knew their plan but continue with him.

It was the same plot they wanted for Maguire, his mistake was more like mental issues and the public wereny helping the situations but you can't let the public win in that situation, you let him be until he is able to level up back to his fit which he did. I remember he score a goal that period and everywre went silent, this is how you show support to the teams but all that's in the pass, the new coach need new believers among the team.

If you see what Salah said in a recent interview that said if he was dominant out rather than in, signalling that he might leave Liverpool even though he intends to stay at Anfield, Salah has experienced a salary increase in the previous contract extension and he is as the highest paid player at Liverpool at this time, so I think salary is not the main problem that hinders contract extensions, unless maybe Liverpool wants to cut his salary given his 32 years of age at this time.

As for the not yet-renewal of Trent Alexander Arnold contract, he reportedly wants be the captain positions as a condition of the contract extension, so that it is a complicated situation for Liverpool because on the one hand they also want to keep Van Djik in the squad and guarantee his position as captain at Liverpool.
Three Liverpool big stars in talk currently due to their contracts ending at the end of this season we have few reports Liverpool management in talk with Trent Alexander-Arnold as Real Madrid is also interested to sign him which is worrying them so they are trying to have extension, but things are not working while two stars are not under any discussion which is also interested but as situation going most chances we will be having two players will leave and Liverpool management will be able to secure only Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Mohammad Salah wants increase in salary which is not possible for the club so he could be left for the Saudi League while Van Djik is having no interest to go for more he wants to go for any other club which could be into his home country, so things are pretty clear about, but officially announcement will become after end of January window.

Really want Liverpool’s owners FSG to open their wallets in January. Cheapskate bastards barely spent anything in the summer. The title is there to win if we strengthen in January.

I think Man City are out of the race now and Arsenal are on the verge of slipping away. Chelsea are there but they have a mediocre defence and a crap goalkeeper. I think if we buy a left back and a midfielder nobody will stop us. Surely the owners will spend.

Previously in the past few seasons maybe I would oppose the decision if Manchester United sold Rashford but for now especially seeing the performance he has done in the last few seasons which has not made much change or increase in performance I think this could be a wise decision and not only Rashford but also several players must begin to be overhauled by Manchester United now because indeed their performance has not increased or seemed to decline making overall Manchester United not develop.

He is currently priced at 45 million for the sale and obviously this is a fairly significant decrease in terms of value especially when compared to previous rumors for PSG who have prepared fresh funds of almost 100 million to bring Rashford from Manchester United.
In the end, it seems that Manchester United always have problems in transfers because they are sometimes always fooled and spend a large price for a player but when trying to sell a player they always lose money and this is not the first time something like this has happened to them.

He deserves everything the club decides on, Rashford has been a really bad investment for the team when we look at the long run in Manchester United and just how he has not proven any clutch moment recently. Selling him is the best option for the team if they want to build back a strong base, they got lot's of talent in the team and keeping Rashford there to occupy space and create less input is not deserving, giving him to a less club division might help rebrand him, still not sure if any other Premier League team will want to sign him or best for him going to Saudi, at least he can earn more and as much farm the league.

Real Madrid's coach is managing the players well. If Vinicius and Mbapp get injured, then Arda will play a lot as a starter. Also, if Rodrygo gets injured, it opens up space for Arda to play more. The young player who is in the worst situation is not Arda, but Endrick, who has not even played at least 5 minutes in most games. Arda will have a place as a starter soon, but in Endrick's case, I doubt very much that he will have a place at Real Madrid. In my opinion, Endrick should accept being loaned to a Premier League team.
In my opinion, Real Madrid needs to keep Arda Guler for urgent substitute because he is talented player. In the future he will be one of the best striker in the world. Therefore it will be good for Carlos Angelotti to keep him as a second options. Many players of Real Madrid have already joined the injuries list, the absence of key players can impact the performance of Angelotti team. So Arda Guler should not be kicked out from the Real Madrid squad. Arda Guler can be very beneficial for Real Madrid in the role of substitute player. This far far Edrick is also a very good player but I think he will not get much time to play because Real Madrid has many spare players who can contribute much better than Edrick.

Yesterday match was very good but I think we all can agree that many players need replacement otherwise Amorim wouldn't have bench Rashford, Gernacho and Casemiro. This is how it should have been, you don't have to force connections that is not working, this is whatcoach don't want to practice and as long as there is no improvement, they will suffer the consequences but I'm glad Amorim see to it, replace the ones that are no longer effective.

I’m sure Manchester United is not the only club in the Premier League that’s interested in Tyler Dibley. He’s a very talented player but 70 million is expensive for a player who’s not going to immediately get a starting spot in the team. Southampton are either being too greedy or are simply taunting clubs who want to sign Tyler Dibley.
According to Russel Martin, United cannot get Tyler’s left foot for 21 million lol.
Chelsea is also reportedly interested in Southampton's young talent. He is a player with speed and the way he runs while controlling the ball is extraordinary for his young age.
MU certainly has the ambition to get him, but with the funds provided, the club has clearly rejected it.
The high price asked is certainly for the effort so that the player can remain on the team and is willing to extend his contract. Southampton would lose a young player like him.

He's gradually developing into a better player and such quality would definitely be admired by several big club, especially Manchester United that are in a transition stage and needs younger and proven talents that would replace underperfoming players. It's not going to be easy getting such player that's in high demand by several top clubs, the quest for him alone would make his price increase and based on how well the plays in his current team, they'll try as much as possible to hold on to him or sell him for a higher than the initial proposed £21m. I see several news saying that Southampton would demand a fees thats roughly 70m but i doubt they (Manchester United) would pay up to that amount for him, the figure is too much for Dibley and i feel the price is overhyped therefore Southampton would have to reduce the offer they're demanding if the want to cash in on him.

When a team has a faulty defense, it could affect the performance of the goalkeeper. Manchester United's poor run has affected his motivation. It seems he looks scared and jittery in some games. For me, I would have suggested that the club should keep him till the end of the season to check if his performance will improve. Having this number of clean sheets shows that the Cameroonian has potential.

Since his impressive performance in the 2022-23 season when he scored thirty goals in fifty-six games, Rashford has not been up and doing. I also think that his pay is no longer commensurate with his performance. I think Amorim doesn't want to work him so he has to leave. Except for clubs like PSG and the Saudi Professional League, I don't know if any club can afford his huge pay.

It seems like Manchester United has already completed the signing of Diego Leon.  Smiley

I have never heard of the name of this 17-year-old LB. But it is a really cheap signing of course. It would be very profitable too in the long term if he turns out to be a wonderkid. It isn't a common thing to see the Red Devils paying low sums like this though.  Grin  Jokes aside, I hope Amorim would be a big help for this team to make reasonable signings. Because they have spent tons of money on many useless players so far.
From what  I have read and the clips of Diego León I have watch so far, I will say Manchester United are very lucky to get such talent for a relatively cheap price. Diego León is regarded as one of the promising young left back of his generation and I must say Manchester United sporting director did a very good job scouting the player. I am confident that with Ruben Amorim as head coach he will surely utilize and bring out the best in Diego León.
