The main purpose for owning girona was not to winning the competition. It's to develop the future players to be sold or transferred to the manchester city. This is the only way for the club to stupping up even higher than before.

Those guys will be success in city. City will have some players will be even older so guardiola needs to make some preparation.

Of course it would be very nice for players to be able to join a big and rich team like Man City. They are the most successful club with Pep with tremendous financial backing. Savio deal hasn't been made official yet I assume but it will soon. He has been on loan at Girona from Troyes so far. He has managed to impress people by a really decent level of performance so far - 5 goals, 7 assists with 7.4 average rating in the La Liga.

These are pretty good statistics for a 19-year-old left winger honestly.

This is not happening now, this transfer is only to secure Savio to Manchester City and he will go to the Etihad Stadium at the end of the season. So, Savio will still be under the tutelage of coach Michel at Girona until this season ends.
