There are some things I don't like - for example, a 38-year old goalkeeper has the same initial valuation as the young one if their rank is the same.
It will simply make older players impossible to sell, and they won't be taken from the free bench as well.
Older player valuation needs to be fixed, and needs to be way lower than it currently is.

Considering that we're in beta and basically nothing is transferrable, my main question for now would be what can I do to become a manager ingame at launch.

I like the general idea - but I do think it's a bit complicated. I do hope you get enough players willing to participate.

I wasn't a big fan of Discord in the past neither, but now I feel ok using it. Discord in general has the biggest gaming community and Xaya is planning to release a lot more games than just Soccerverse, so they decided to have Discord their main channel for communication.


All players - be it from transfer market or free bench - are auctioned. The auctions run for 7 days and you can see a timer in the transfer market. If you bid on a free bench player, he will get moved to transfer market for the auction then.
For transfer market it's 3 in and 3 out per season; you can sign as many players as you want from free bench though, as long as your squad size (max is 32) allows. It was designed this way to prevent cheating.
It's a fully decentralized game running without servers on the blockchain, so you have to get everything right from the get-go, changing things afterwards is a pain and only possible with a hard fork I guess. There is also no possiblity to ban accounts or whatever, it's an autonomous game world with all its pros and cons. So lots of design choices were made to make cheating very, very hard and the gameplay bot-resistant as good as possible.


I would think they are very important, also to maybe keep some players fresh, when you still have cup games on Mondays. I think I somewhere read about customizing formations in the future, but for now it is not possible and probably won't be at full release. 


There is slightly out of position, where the player goes yellow, which is still fine. But if you put a striker as RB, then he will get red and that is a no no then DML/R or CB as LB/RB is still good and their strength won't take a big hit. Lots of managers have to play players slightly out of position atm, because of lacking certain positions in their roster. A good manager also does well in roster management and signing the right guys for their favorite tactics or to be able to play multiple different tactics. It's not an easy game

You can btw always message other managers and ask them to put players on transfer market you are interested in. There is always a minimum bid though - again to prevent cheating.

I made offers for two players, one from free transfer and one from some club. When will the bidding close? When next game gets played? I expected that I will immediately get player from free transfer if I match his price.

How important are situations for our matches. For now I just created one where I made my guys go all out attack if I am loosing in 75th minute. Any chance of adding custom formations? They were always my favorite part of managers.

How big hit does player take when playing out of position? For instance I have no RB/LB in my club, only DML/DMR. After tinkering a bit with tactics it seems to me that DML/DMR or even CB can be employed as LB/RB without big penalty to their stats.

So, as for the wCHI, you can buy additional SMC with it or packs directly. 1 pack costs 1 wCHI and gives you 100 shares in 5 random clubs (5x20). If you want shares from a specific club, you would have to go via the order book of that club and either accept sell orders that are already in the market or put up your own buy order and wait for it to get matched. In the order books you use SMC. You can also direct message users in the game, so if you see someone having lots of shares in a club and you would like to buy some shares from him, you can negotiate a deal/price and do it via the order book or by transferring the SMC/shares (this is not trustless though then).

Shares in clubs give you dividends twice a week on the matchdays. The more shares, the higher the amount of SMC you will get. So you will generate passive income and if your club does well - maybe promotes, wins the league or cup - the value of your shares should go up as well.

At the moment managers are appointed by majority vote from snailbrain, but this is not how it will be in full game. Every shareholder with 100+ shares can propose a manager. This proposal period is 24 hours and afterwards there is 3 days of voting.
Since this game is about real money, managers not only have to know their stuff on the field and financially, but they also must be trusted and reliable. Otherwise shareholders will get mad with him (if dividends are low and share value goes down) and sack him. So the beta can already be used to show your are good and reliable manager to maybe get a job in full game even without any shares - but it will be ultra hard, there are only 300 manager spots available^^

Then there are player shares. These are not bought with packs, but are all already available to buy in the order books of the players; 10,000,000 shares per player. With 10% of those shares you are able to propose an agent for that player, which most likely will be you yourself. Player agents get a wage (as do the managers of clubs) on top of the dividends they get for having shares in that player. The dividends are higher when your player is in starting line-up, scores or assists. So the agent will always look to a) have the best contract for his player and b) have him in starting line up. That is something he will have to negotiate with the manager of the club. If the manager refuses to put him in starting line up regularly, the agent can lower the morale of that player or request a transfer. Agents can also decide whether a contract gets renewed or not.

Soccerverse is directly linked to real world football. Lets say you already followed Haaland, when he was still playing for Salzburg, a young and upcoming super star. You could then buy shares in him and make yourself agent - and they will be really cheap. Haaland then became a star in Dortmund and ManCity and this will also reflect in Soccerverse. His rating will go up in the game, so will his wage, so will your dividends/wage and the share price will skyrocket as well. So, working as a scout in Soccerverse is what a lot of people are looking at. But you have to be well informed about real world football

There is way more to the game (and tbh I haven't it all figured out yet as well, especially the ingame economy), but to summarize, there are lots of different roles in Soccerverse: Managers, Agents, Traders, Hodlers, Scouts. It's a very social game, where all roles have to communicate with each other to max out the success for their clubs, players and with that their personal financial gains of course.

All dividends are paid in SMC and you can either re-invest them to build up a bigger position in the game or you can exchange the SMC for wCHI and then to ETH/BTC or whatever you like.

Currently the game is running on Polygon, but it's not yet decided if the full game will be on Polygon as well. I am not a big fan of Polygon too, lets see what the team decides.

Igrači se kupuju s lovom od kluba. Svaki klub je DAO i ima svoje shareholdere, svaki igrač isto ima svoje shares. Ti sa tom lovom kupuješ shares u igračima i klubovima ako sam dobro shvatio. Onda svi koji imaju shares glasaju da li će igrač preći u neki klub ili shareholderi kluba kome će dati posao managera. Pokušaj razvijanja realistične ekonomije.

Ti za taj token kupiš nekakav nazovimo pack di dobiješ 20 share u 5 klubova, onda ih se valjda trejda. Tek sam krenuo i samo posluižio ekipu za prvu utakmicu i dao ponudu za dva igrača.

Prvo sam se registrirao i preko gumba Free claim zatražio tokene koji nikako nisu dolazili u wallet. Onda sam išao proučiti upute i tamo je pisalo da treba swapati MATIC za WCHI. Ja sam swapao 5 USDC i dobio oko 45 WCHI što mi je bilo dovoljno za registraciju. Mislim da sam negdje (u uputama ili na Discordu) pročitao da je 2 WCHI dovoljno za start tako da nije skup početak. Ja sam prebacio 5 USDC samo zato jer nisam imao ništa na Polygonu, a nisam htio bridgeati 1 USDC i platiti veći gas nego što je vrijednost.

A kako se troši u beti? Kupovinom igrača? Za sad slabo kužim igru iako mi se, sudeći po uputama, čini da je puno bolje razrađena nego što je bio Footbattle. Još da radi na Arbitrumu umjesto na Polygonu... Ne znam zašto ne volim Polygon ali ne volim ga

Tu si već ispred nas  Za sta su ti trebali tokeni? Vidio sam se piše o njima ali ima i onaj airdrop koji dobijes koji ti je dosta da počneš igrati. Ja barem nisam potrosio ništa osim love za par transakcija do sad.

U svakom slučaju dobro da jesi jer kad krene prava igra početkom godine trebao bi dobiti veći airdrop u ovisnosti o tome koliko si potrosio u beti.

Evo i mene Sjećam se kako nam je bilo dobro dok smo igrali Footbattle pa zašto ne probati. Malo sam zazujao u početku jer sam mislio da ću besplatno dobiti WCHI ali onda sam pogledao tutorial (https://docs.soccerverse.io) i kupio tokene za 5 dolara. Uzeo sam klub iz lige u kojoj su Trofo i cryptofrka pa ćemo vidjeti. Javio sam se na Discordu i sad čekam da me admin doda kao menadžera kluba.

Moram priznati, skroz fora izgleda taj Soccerverse. Uzeo sam klub, 3. C liga mid table, u istoj ligi vidim i Trofa koji je bod ispred na 6. mjestu.

2 idu dalje tako da sumnjam da ću nešto pametno napraviti već ove sezone, opstanak je već osiguran  sobzirom da preuzimam u 25. kolu.

inace, igra je aktivna vec dugo vremena, u razlicitim oblicima, bila je i alfa, ali je bila potrebna instalacija, pa sam tada instalirao na nekom racunaru koji retko koristim, i onda je bio smor logovanja

sad se samo prikljucis putem novcanika, i dosta je zanimljivije, ima dosta aspekata, ulog u samom klubu, ulog u igrace, i vodjenje kluba

Bacio sam pogled malo, izgleda zanimljivo na prvu i mislim da ću se uključiti. Jel znaš tyki sa discorda? Što je on tamo? Ako je to onaj na kojeg mislim bio je nekada jako aktivan na forumu pa mu je dojadilo. Profesionalni kladioničar i super lik. Pričao mi je još davno o manager nogometnom ali tada je bilo u povojima i mislim da se drukčije zvalo.

mozete se prijaviti na sajtu i uzeti tim, igrica je na Polygon-u, jos nema token, a airdrop ce biti podeljen aktivnim igracima, bez obzira na uspeh tima

u biltenu ima link, u delu sta uraditi (nije referall, nema takvih linkova, bitna je samo aktivnost u igri) - Bilten 51

tim se sastavlja za svako kolo (svaka tri dana), potrebno je platiti Polygon transakciju za izmene tima, a tim se preuzima u Discord kanalu (pogledate na tabeli koji tim za sada nema menadzera) - ja vodim Ferrara-u u Ligi 4B, ako je neko za takmicenje

Zanimljiva mi je ideja o guild sustavu gdje svaka NFT zajednica može biti guild u Footbattle igri, a vlasnici NFT-a iz pojedine kolekcije automatski mogu biti članovi tog guilda. Ako igra zaživi, možda će ovi "genesis" igrači imati neku vrijednost.

Što se tiče ovoga što cryptofrka kaže, slažem se da u u ovom trenutku nema smisla imati prodaju tokena. Osim što igra stoji već godinama (koliko znam), bear market nije vrijeme za takvo nešto.

Oni baš nisu u stanju donijet ni jednu normalnu odluku

Prodavanje bilo kakvih tokena u ovom trenu nema doslovno nikakvog smisla, pa neće zaradit 500 dolara s tim. Čak ni ljudi koji igraju (nekakav core community) ne vjeruju u igru, di će netko lijevi usred priče o recesiji i dugogodišnjem bear marketu.

aha, Footium je nesto drugo
koliko sam upucen za sada je samo beta sto se tice igre, ali se konstantno dele igraci na kvizovima na Discord-u

za sada drze floor iznad 0,2 ETH, sto je dobro, cekam da vidim kako ce krenuti, imam spremne klubove, ali cu jedan svakako prodati pre pocetka igre, nego mi se cini da floor nece nize, a kad se pokrene iz bete, verovatno ce malo gore

Footium je nešto najsličnije tradicionalnom Football Manageru, ima 8 divizija, što niže ideš divizje imaju više liga. Ima sve skupa 3000 klubova - a dugoročno je plan raširiti se i na druge chainove.

Još je u Beti i igra samo dio igrača ali izgleda mi dosta dobro i već neko vrijeme gledam uzeti klub. Nikako da istražim to malo bolje pa ako netko ima volje - dapače

ne razumem na koje najlosije Footbattle klubove mislis?
slazem se da je igrica tanka za igranje, prilicno nerazumljiva, i sa svim problemima koji su i ranije postojali, sa blokiranjem igracima kad gledas utakmicu i slicno

ipak, pozitivan je znak da neko i dalje odrzava server i pokusava da napravi kakav takav razvoj, meni se ova modernizovana grafika bas ne svidja

Prenese se ekipa, iako je sad ovo testna verzija i bilo kakav progress se neće prenositi.

Meni iskreno izgleda užas, gore nego prethodna verzija, i definitivno neću trošiti vrijeme na igranje. Ima puno boljih varijanti, recimo najlošiji Footbattle klubovi su po cca 0.2 ETH a igra je u 10x boljem stanju.
