see the description above which explains that the words "free speech"
can the moderator give merited as an appreciation for the post he likes ?

Moderators aren't censored or restricted for any actions in the forum outside of their moderator duties. Therefore, they can merit any post that they wish. Moderators or any staff user for that matter can also be a merit source. Although, AND I can't be clear enough in this; DO NOT use the report function to report posts to be merited, that is not what it is for.

I think joke if see
1 and 5
It isn't a joke and there's an updated version [even though it might look like there's a grey area for this rule]...
- If you're planning to post such things, as long as it's in an indirect way [link] with the correct label [NSFW], you should be fine.

10. No embedded NSFW images anywhere. NSFW content must be marked accordingly.
10. Not safe for work (NSFW) refers to any image which wouldn't be deemed appropriate to view whilst in work, or in a public setting. If it has tags within the title then it's usually fine, and doesn't need reporting.

Hello! I have been exploring around but I can't seem to find an answer;
Use search engine, this question has been quested many times, read here FAQ: Everything you need to know about forum 'activity, account ranks and merit

Quote
how long does one need to be registered to become a member?
To become a member you need requirement of both 60 activity and at least 10 merit.

Quote
I have been registered for some 5+ years now.
Thank you!
There's no relation of how long your account registered with account rank, even if your account's age is 100 years and not earn any single merit... you're still a newbie.

1. Free speech
5. No NSFW content

Please read 5, then read 1, then read 5, then read 1 and tell me if you see a problem.

Can I say "fat cock" if I present it in a calm and polite manner?

You can talk ''fat cock''calmly and politely to people, but you won't know if the person accepts it or not, because everyone is not necessarily the same. So it's good that we are wise in speaking and choosing words so as not to offend each other/ misunderstand

That would prompt an enormous size of control which would restrict free discourse rather than prodding posts towards consideration and applicable substance with a given gathering.
I actually accept that the enormous pools ought to have their own subgroups

I was able to retrieve my old account for the past two years, is there new rules? or it is still the same on this topic?
This thread hasn't been updated since its creation day [outdated]. There might be some additions since you left while some have been polished: Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ
Btw, welcome back.

What of if mistakenly one double post or reply a particular post twice
Not to worry - anything like that you can always use the report to moderator tab in the bottom right of the post - this is used to delete your post -just give an explanation as to why your post should be deleted .
Hope this helps  Smiley

big tech deep state censorship are everywhere.  MAGA (Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Apple)

to the point, and from MSM not reporting event truthfully that guarantee 1st amendment right on free expression in supposed "free country" like the USA, How can one expect bitcointalk isn't already compromised many, many years ago?

It is unclear to me why my post, "The Crypto-investor Manifesto", was deleted, based on this moderation policy.

What was the content? I can see it's been reported as spam however.

Is it really difficult would it be to implement a voting system for posts
~Snipped~
even with less knowledge and try to reduce the frauds to a minimum leve..
In case by "voting system", you meant for a way to report posts then we already have that kind of system in place [it's in the bottom right corner of each post]: Check this "SS"
- Having said that, scams aren't moderated in here...

19. Possible (or real) scams and Trust ratings are not moderated (to prevent moderation abuse).
~Snipped~
Q: Why haven't you banned who is an obvious scammer?
A: Possible (or real, not for me to decide) scams are not moderated to prevent moderator abuse. If we start picking out which ones we call "scammers" and ban, we would make a lot of decisions based on biased opinions.

well We have to come together and then make such a system that It always helps people
even with less knowledge and try to reduce the frauds to a minimum leve..
I hope you all think so..
If no the make your decision...

What do you mean? Something like a +1 or 'like' button on user's posts? We have the merit system at the top right of everyone's posts but you need to receive merit before you can dish it out yourself or become a merit source. We also have the ability to create polls if you want to take a vote on something but I don't think that's what you mean.

I don't really know where to type a topic for people to bring up their ideas about it, please can I get a help here?

Well we can't really help you unless you tell us what the proposed thread is actually about because it could belong in any board.

Please can anyone help me, i can't seem to log in to my bitcoinwallet acct.. I have requested change password and nothing is coming into my email.. Is this a technical problem.Huh

Are you referring to the wallet provider (bitcoinwallet.com)? If so, I'm not sure if they're legit... but assuming they are, the only one who can help you is the support team as said above.

I would also not recommend this type of wallet, custodial/online wallets are the worst when it comes to the safety of your funds. Go with Electrum instead, and if you've got large amounts, a trezor or a ledger device.
