So now i have 16 bets left out of 100 total bets. I want to continue to join the mini league but i am afraid i will passed 100 bets before the side competition ende.

Yes, that would work just fine (in relation to the required minimum number of bets - there are, of course, a couple other requisites to the Contribution Prize).

I should probably mention, however, that this doesn't apply to the Top Place Prizes; anyone with an entry that finishes the competition in the top 7 needs to have 100 valid bets in that specific entry to receive the prize.
