Check this out :

https://blockchain.info/
1EoUJadqQWyuNwgs9ez1hsGewNkK7BrmpF

blockchain.info returns the result with the
address being :
'Living On Bitcoin For A Week'
instead of
'1EoUJadqQWyuNwgs9ez1hsGewNkK7BrmpF'

How did she do that ?
Also there is a link to her article on Forbes
if you click on the icon at the end of
'Living On Bitcoin For A Week'

Anyone here knows this trick ?

Just made a faucet, wondering if you can add mine to the list. It pays out once a day at 1 ubtc an address...

Hmm, in many places it says things like this, "don't forget to donate so we can finally open our Faucet!"

And what is with the faucet way down near the bottom of the page with this text:
"Successful request! You'll receive our payment in less than 24h."

Why does it say that when an address hasn't even been input into it yet?  And when I put an address into it and click the "get bitcoins!" button nothing happens.

I used the input form near the top so I will see if I get a payout... but it doesn't seem like you will be giving out much or for very long if you are relying on donations to fund your faucet...

Sorry, the one at the bottom was a test dummy that I made, I will be shortly deleting that. The top one gives out a small amount, about 1 ubtc, and I only needed donations to keep me going. I now have enough to give and stay stable for awhile with the help of some ads. I give out BTC from the top faucet manually, confirming each entry, at night, CST. No worries about the exploitation of the system.

Thanks for the explanation.

I don't think http://www.freebtc4all.com/index.php is giving free btc. After you submit, it says "This is the address you'll get the payment from: 1KUVuPQ6NAT2LzH8NEq35Rpyz79QWqks6B "

I have been submitting for a week and search for that address; nothing came through from that address.

Btw, I was shown that same payment-from address. When you check at blockchain.info it shows that it has been paying out,
but there is also this warning there regarding this address:
Warning! this bitcoin address contains transactions which may be double spends. You should be extremely careful when trusting any transactions to or from this address.

So just make sure you get lots of confirmations before you go trying to spend that 0.0000001 BTC.   Cheesy

¡Advertencia! esta dirección de Bitcoin incurre a gastos duplicados. Ten mucho cuidado al realizar o recibir transacciones de esta dirección
------------------------------- google translate :
Warning! Bitcoin address costs incurred to duplicate. Be very careful when making or receiving transactions this address
-------------------------------

And I see lots of payouts in 0.0000001 BTC (really 0.00000010 BTC)
which I guess you are getting 10 satoshis for each visit...

Excuse me for being a noob but I thought with bitcoin, you either have it or you don't, and with bitcoint accounting you can't spend money your wallet does not have.
How do they they do this and trigger the above warning from blockchain.info ?
Blockchain.info will do this by itself. IDK why but many of my accounts ahve had the same flag on them for no aperant reason. I'm not smart enough to orchestrate a real double spend and it still happens often. I think it has to do with sending identical sized tx's in a certain ammount of time.

Thank you for sharing your experience.

If they are paying 0.00000010 BTC or each visit they have got to be real scrooges to double spend and to try to screw their visitors who bring them hundred if not thousand times what they are paying out.

Did you check the address you used to see if anything came to it?  I've got payments from that site ( otherwise it wouldn't be on the list ), but that doesn't mean it couldn't stop paying out.

Will have a look at it.  Anyone else seeing issues with this site?

Thanks for the report.
