I think (but haven't tested it) you can use (custodial) wallet BlueWallet to connect to your own node. If that works, you don't have to connect to any third party, and as long as your node is online, you can receive transactions (controlled through your mobile wallet).

I'm in the process of adding another node/channel to each of my three LN wallet as the send & receive to jackg took quite a number of tries. I think there needs to be a rethink how to keep the channels open (or, the programs such as Eclair) on mobile devices when the phone wants to cut them off.
