Bump around for about 15 hours. Seem to have fixed the issues of not being able to receive when the phone is in sleep (probably fixed by an update but I'm tasking the credit still).

When I'm not here try loyce's thread here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/liberated-loycevs-legendary-little-lightning-loans-5149962 or timelords here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.52439703

It is the same node, one is just the IP instead of the name. Should respond on either.

I have put up a raspiblitz node for testing. Feel free to connect to it and open channels.
It is something I am testing so it might burp and go offline but I backup all channels on a regular basis.

Fixed those links for ya Wink.

And thanks for posting here, do you have quite a few channels open already (just to check routing can be done fine)? I couldn't seem to find it on the acinq explorer yet either (but that might just be a delay or me being sloppy with the search engine).

Yeah, I have been doing some testing with the raspiblitz (pi3 vs 4 and with the 4 1GB ram vs 4GB ram) so I was opening and closing and playing with channels.
Will probably add more BTC and more channels this week.

What is really nice with the way it's setup you can power it down, pull the USB SSD and plug it into another RPi with raspiblitz on the SD card and all you have to do is put in a new root (admin) password and you are back up and running. All the info is on the USB drive. (Yeah, you don't need an SSD but it's just sooooo much faster)

I did a bunch of testing on testnet but there is nothing like the real thing.

Now I just need to figure out why my lightning node isn't showing up on 1ml.com Undecided

Neither of my two active and one inactive nodes show up on 1ml.com or um ?Casa?

Nore do they show up as connecting to any nodes. (Plus I keep getting rejected when I try to open a channel to 1ml)

Received...

I have no idea how 1ml works... I even have a channel open with them! But when I search for my node's public key, it doesn't find anything at all Roll Eyes I tried creating an account, but that only lets you "claim" nodes that are returned on the search...

It isn't a huge deal really as far as I can tell... it's probably an issue with the underlying "lnd" not being publicly accessible... I've probably missed a setting somewhere (like with Bitcoin Core allowing incoming connections etc) Tongue

Does that 1ml site work like freenode? Maybe you have to input your ip or your link before you can see yourself on it.

I'm slowly working some of this out... while playing with fractions of pennies!  Grin Grin Cheesy

You can repay the 20000 sats here... (it's valid for 24 hrs and the node should have something like 99% uptime Wink)

Hi. I want to ask, i never tried yet, this loan is only for eclair wallet or app? And you want back the satoshi for test back on lightning network or also accept on chain payment?

Is the idea just to goto their exchange and send them whatever sats I have and request it back to the wallet on-chain address? I don't understand how that will create inbound/outbound capacity if I do that? Huh
Each LN channel is like a pile of coins, "shared" between (only) 2 parties. At the moment, all coins are on your side, so the other party can't send you anything.
If you send some coins first, you can receive some back later (except for 1.2% channel reserve). The other party (the node) will do the same to the next node, creating a chain of channels that all move some of their coins to the other party.

Quote
Am I supposed to create a channel first?
No, it should work if the nodes are connected already.

If you go to coinplaza you set up that you send them bitcoins on the lightning network and inreturn they send you bitcoins on the main chain.

Connecting to the coinplaza node is a different thing.

I must admit... my lightning knowledge is not quite as good as I thought it was... Undecided

You can refund yourself the 900000 sats via CoinPlaza.IT by sending them funds via LN and receiving them back via the chain.  You will have 900,000 inbound and 100,000 outbound capacity without having to buy it from any third party nodes.

Am I supposed to create a channel first? As I can't seem to create a channel to coinplaza.it at this time... I'm just getting "funding errors" when trying to create the channel (tried 250k, 200k, 150k and 100k). So I'm guessing they're not accepting new channels or they're out of capacity or something? Oh man... I think I've really done it now... I finally got LND working (apparently, you need to have "datadir" specified in bitcoin.conf so LND can find the bitcoin datadir!?!?)... and I got ZAP wallet setup with it as well... Meant to fund it with 100,000 sats... accidentally sent 1,000,000 Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

I've found 0.0025 transfers works ok (I have a channel open to them) but higher amounts (on just about any channel) don't always go through)

I have an invoice here but with a warning your inbound amounts don't increase like your outbound ones do as the increase at something like 80% of what you send... I think that's how it works anyway, not looked into everything fully yet...

I like testing with actual crypto it makes me concentrate more but that could just be me...

Anyway here's the request if you want to go ahead:

Code:
lightning:lnbc200u1p0q4y4spp55z6frtxjt3kqqw6stzzvkp0wng2xyk7w2mryl5e8s8l663xrxg6qdp2dfnjqen9wd6xjan9ypkxjemgw3hxjmn8ypex2um5yqxqr4rqrzjqwryaup9lh50kkranzgcdnn2fgvx390wgj5jd07rwr3vxeje0glc7zf4hyqqgucqqqqqqqlgqqqqqeqqjqqhx37lek0uyt42w4tx6g795m4a8mzks26yf3n2j4s8t4e4mmyv8y4r50kh4w38kl3yzh9h3ru08k62mjyudslzy27a3cgydfdfnqe0spjss4gy

My node may drop off in half an hour though but I'll send another one tomorrow if so...
