A company that gives away something of value, where their name and brand are clearly indicated on the gift, of course, is a form of marketing. There's nothing wrong with that.

No , bitcoin does't do this. Math always has an EXACT reason.

The biggest mindfuck in this thread that he reserved the right to eliminate person in public, with showing a disrespect, on the INVITE ONLY thread.
So, my advice would be, if you have such retard rules, better to NOT SEND the invitation to the person that you want/planning to eliminate.

Let's pretend what you see i have not bought from you. And lets pretend i have a perfect provenance of how i acquired these items/cards. Really helps me as collector. Thanks

What if new people see that you rated old member "paid on time" , what the f*ck is that mean? is that mean that newbie paid "not on time" or what is EXACT reason of why newbie was not rated of making a successful trade? What do you think the feedback is actually for? is it for "life" ? Feedback in the trade is a provenance that the goods were achieved by the successful trade, nothing else. YOU ARE NOT GRANTING THE PERSON WITH YOUR LIFE. You only saying that "he paid" , because you know why? BECAUSE THERE IS NOTHING ELSE BUYER HAS TO DO - JUST PAY.
Or do you think you are responsible for someones actions , and if yes, point me to someone who took full responsibility for another person just because they had feeback to him on a random trade .

All feedback system is true monarchy scheme. Not rating the others means less opponents to have for yourself, less , members of higher ranking or less chance for yourself to be eliminated from DT. we are not idiots, again.


"your time line preference" - You could have died in those 2-3 years. Let's be realistic. And yet i am happy collector waiting for the "receipt" that i did that trade and i paid on time or at least that i paid/bought at all. I can bet if the DT member would be buying from you for the first time he would be rated in few minutes after the payment. This is a light version of "buying back" the feedback.
So let me ask you yourself: Really?
All or none, should be the right mindset. Sadly you don't have such.
I wish next time when you will be buying groceries and willing to get the receipt they would tell you "Sorry ser we give receipt only after several transactions and time have elapsed".
And do not forget to go and check if every hotel that you visited and rated well to be still operating and, also,  i wish you not to find that they served some of their customers badly, because by your logic you would be responsible for that.

My point is that if someone are not qualified for the entry, could you please make that those people were not shown his ad too?
This can be easy fixed with creating private/secret thread that only those people with invitation would be able to go there, chasing their free stuff, and absorb the ads given.
(Or another scenario for "invitation" people only- go absorb the ads and later find out that you was eliminated without a reason because "right to eliminate without a reason" was reserved )
But for us mortal people, please do one simple thing: If certain people get less. Please make those certain people to give less too. Make us to see less.

He came here. Public network. Nobody cares his rules. We have forum rules and that is enough.

If he want to have his rules he is FREE to make his own webiste and pitch what ever he want THERE.

Their raffle - they can decide how to give it away or who to include - exclude.

I usually exclude anyone with an account create date less than the current year, sometimes longer. Sometimes, I limit it to people I have done business with. There are sometimes specific people I exclude.

Censorship is to say you have no ability to be included - that there is nothing you can do to be included. IE the race question you posed. One cannot change their race. But one can perform a translation service, one can have their account for a longer time etc etc

Even Bitcoin does this - look at the fees, if your fee is too low, your transaction will have to wait. You want to be included, pay a higher fee. No different then this raffle, you want to be included, do the translation. (note: this is the 6th card they have given away - the other 5 did not require someone to have done translation services)

as for the feedback thing - really? you have 3 transactions with me - 2 of them in the past 60 days. I leave feedback after several transactions and time have elapsed. Now I am forced to leave feedback based on your time line preference? I don't think so.
