Congratulations @hopenotlate that's a cool Satochip card and it's a shame that the white plastic layer seal had to be broken. Cheesy
I myself can't wait to hold this card because I have bought directly from Satochip when there is still a limited edition, now the goods have reached my country just waiting for delivery to the house. Shocked

By the way it's worth to mention my shoppiung experience was awesome and they assisted me fixing a mistake I did during the buying process - higly recommended!
I also experienced a little mistake in the process of buying a Chip Card Reader, but fortunately @Tibu confirmed the problem quickly above. This is indeed highly recommended.

you could put in one these type cases - holds credit card sized collectibles fairly well - I have ballets, scamkeys, icarus cards, various crypto stamps (some of my CS are too large) other wallets such as boltcards, satscards, tangem wallets (some older tangems are too long to fit) and a few others as well.

Awesome, great suggestion thanks ...and it could not have been otherwise considered your experience and reputation in collectibles area.

-snip-
There is also inexpensive machine (can't remember exact name) that can print plastic cases similar like this, but you won't be able to use the card unless you cut the plastic off.
-snip

Also laminating it could be an option , only think I would need break and replace it the very rare times I would use it.

Thanks guys for your help.

kind of like laminating it?
Yeah, that is the word I was looking for, thermal laminating Cheesy
Even small vacuum bags should work fine for protection and for keeping cards in good condition, and you can easily remove the items whenever you want.

I have snagged a few SatoChip cards! I can't wait to get my hands on these fantastic cards. Design work always hits the mark, especially with the anniversary touches – the forum, Bitcoin founder Satoshi. Thanks for another awesome creation!
Nice.
What quote version card you like the most?

EDIT:
Interesting that Satoshi posted his last message on bitcointalk forum 13 years ago!

Satochip cards are currently back in stock but with few different quotes, and with very limited numbers, so check them out.

At first I thought I would have used it as wallet, also purchased a card reader, unsealed outside packaging because couldn't wait to see the carsd with my eyes but once I saw it I changed my mind.
It's too cool to allow it to deteriorate with use and time by handling it.
I agree, this card looks very cool, but you can still use it once or twice for long term cold storage Wink
I think your card is number 1 from this limited series, and I think that makes it even more special.
Small tip: You don't even have to buy card reader if you have professional laptop with integrated card readers, something like older Lenovo Thinkpads work great for this purpose.

Some days ago, sorry for not posting earlier but experienced some real life issues, I received this fantastic card !!!

As I wrote earlier in this thread couldn't ask for a better way to celebrate my ten years on this forum.

I think , at least for now, am not going to unbox the transparent envelope and keep it jealously stored as collectible and will buy a new card from Satochip.

By the way it's worth to mention my shoppiung experience was awesome and they assisted me fixing a mistake I did during the buying process - higly recommended!

Thanks again Satochip and dkbit98 for this opportunity.

Thank you for your kind words Wink
It always a real pleasure to see such a satisfaction coming from our valuable customers.

Yes yes i also agree with Stack - bad dkbit98, bad!

I've also checked his merits, and you were right, this was clearly an exercise of the devil, just look at his current merit number!

Awesome, in few days it will be ten years I registered on this forum and will consider it as my birthday gift.
Thank you very much Satochip for this generous opportunity and dkbit98 for running the thing smoothly and professionally as usual.
This is really unique birthday gift Wink
I would appreciate if you let us know when you receive your card, and maybe write your honest review if you can.
We need to hear from you all good and bad sides, what can be improved, how Satochip works and how do you like custom design in real life.

Winner was selected and he should expect to receive his exclusive card directly from Satochip.

There will be only 5 Satochip cards with this exact design ever printed, and each of them will have unique ID number.

You can now make reservations and purchase this cards (if they are still available).

Here is how they look printed, amazing:

Feedback:
I am watching Satochip for more than a year, but while the design is nice - I like a lot the card format to keep data -, I don't feel safe enough with hardware wallets with no screen, you know.
The design was never bad, but this Bitcointalk one is gorgeous. The quote is my favorite from Satoshi, so it is wonderful as collectible (even if I would have no problem with hw without screen, I still like it too much to start actually using it  Smiley ).
I am pretty sure that this idea can bring nice income to Satochip for custom profiles and quotes and that's even better.
All this being said, I feel like this beauty could also fit nicely as SeedKeeper (exactly because it's more a collectible).

The Stone the masons rejected was the cornerstone.
I would just use a different quote, as this is one is somehow agreesive.
I actually like this quote very much, it is authentic Satoshi words, not something what we would like him to say.
Stay tuned for different design quotes. Wink

OP...please stick with that quote as it is classic Satoshi...I used it on one of my coins years ago as a tribute to Satoshi. I have also used the following quote by Satoshi amongst other "I’m better with code than with words though"

does it have Satoshi's information or will you customize the cards to match the forum member buying them? That would be cool but I imagine an expensive and time consuming venture.
This giveaway card will have satoshi profile information printed on card, but I am accepting orders for purchasing other cards with different profile information.

awesome! how do we do this? direct via the forums? twitter? email?
