Well why would we keep a luxurious car if we couldn't really afford it and it is not suitable for our life style.
It is only wise to have it on BTC to spend it more wisely to make your life better buy a house invest or open up a business until you could afford to buy one for yourself.

A Mercedes for your 18th birthday? Damn. A huge opportunity missed out. I would ride that beauty like there was no tomorrow even if it was on borrowed time. Am a big fan of sports cars myself though I never was presented with such an opportunity sadly.

@kakmakr something similar happened to me . My uncle worked for a car show company and he had access to the greatest cars in our country, he was allowed to use all "show" cars which were not on sale but just there for show off for the potential customers, customers looked at those cars test those cars and basically check it out but when they wanted to buy it the company gave them a brand new one from the garage. So, my uncle gave me the keys to Mercedes amg on my 18th birthday, not to actually own it but like "here use this until they take it back" type of deal and it literally stayed idle for 4 months I never got my license, I am 30 now and I still don't have my license .

Actually this is a lambo prize, so it should be one the winner decision, whether he is going to take the lambo or money instead. And to think that freebitco.in openly said that lambo is the main prize, they should prepare everything either it is a lambo or btc prize equivalent

I like my cars and I've been a member of a few owners clubs with some quite skilled people who mod cars to extreme performance, there are some who do nothing else but just take it to drag strips etc.   There is always the option of just racing it on circuit tracks, keep it on a trailer to transport to venues.    You could have coverage just on the plain value (vs theft ) rather then your risk at a low age vs possible accidents on the public road.
Many people would dismiss the idea of taking their nicest tuned car on the public road anyway, pot holes and speed bumps and so on.  The modern road is designed more for 4 x 4 vehicles to combat.    A winner even if 18 could own this car and just race it on their local track.    I'm not saying its sensible but even that would be amazing for anyone who loves their cars

Ideally the best special offers from dealers do include first years insurance but thats down to small print and maybe rarer nowadays and I dont know thats possible here

Sorry. It runs a weekly script that pays out whatever share parameters you have set at the time of the payout. It doesn't record any changes you make or when you made them.

Yes, I think it boils down to an investment decision. You can take the Lambo, park it in storage for a few years and hope to sell it for a massive profit when it becomes a vintage model or you take the BTC and hope that it might go to the Moon with more profits.

The BTC option just gives you more freedom to cash out some and diversify into other investment options. You can still buy a less expensive car that you can afford and have some spare change.

Buying through a company is the simple bit. If the winner wants to drive it on the road then they'll have to register it according to their local laws. For expample, if someone in the UK wins it and decides they just want to use for track days then they don't need to.

That reminds me of when I was 18 I went to the motor show at Earls Court in London and entered a competition to win a Ferrari. A few days later I started thinking about how much it would cost to run that thing so I looked up the insurance cost and found it was double my annual salary.
It really depends on the circumstances of the winner if they can afford to take the Lambo or choose the Bitcoin alternative.

or the intermediatory would use its company name to finalize the transaction and transfer the ownership?
either way, there is no way a winner can claim this car without providing ID, am I right?

Its not clickbaiting, its just advertising.   Pretty much always its about selling the dream, go check out TV series Mad Men as its a great analogy for all of modern society and conspicuous consumption.     Wanting more then you need and all that, but hey this is the gambling section and who doesnt want a lambo for a week at least.   You can take delivery without a problem, use it for a year lose no value so long as this particular model is in high demand.    Something to check out, its possible to pre order super cars and sell for higher then you paid; it really depends on production supply vs demand.  

We arent in a recession so supercars are in is my guess.   I'm more concerned about the options, I dont want a supercar without aircon.   I want two tone paint that changes shades as it passes by so you are never quite sure what you just saw; all sorts of nice things but that variation might be the biggest difference to actually walking into a dealership and specifying in person your personal needs


Sure I've seen similar and I've worked in freight but always with high worth items it would be covered.    Ship transport has risks attached to it that go back centuries in their origins and they would not make the customer suffer, thats all on those in the delivery business and the insurance that backs them.    To be honest, I think this firm would just make a phonecall to instigate locally a sale not be shipping left hand drive to perhaps right hand drive countries or whatever.   Lamboghini is part of the VW group now, its not quite the rarefied exotic unobtainable evaporative commodity it once was; they'll have connections to deliver it to the door without such a problem.   Source: I know someone who had a Porsche prototype delivered in a truck to his door, his relative was part of the mobile phone system development for it and he learnt to drive in it as the insurance covered all instances


Again Lambo is part of VW group, Im a ton more optimistic on Lambo ownership for even the normal guy then I once would have been.   I'm sure its not cheap but I think its regular to service.   I dont know this car specifically but I've owned cars previous that were joint developments between firms and the parts were great to obtain decades after because this design had relations through the group of companies and various models in how it fitted together

They are not stupids, I think they know that the Lambo is a sort of clickbait and its working.

Most of the people will take the coins, most of us can't even pay the gas for the beast 

Why take the risk that the car could get damaged in transit or even worst destroyed if it was shipped to you. My friend work in a harbour and he has told me bad stories of damage that was done to containers and freight ships on the open sea.

Most of us would not even be able to pay the insurance on a car like that, so it is not a prize that comes without an additional monthly expense for car insurance.   We have not even discussed the the price for parts on expensive super cars like this.
