I was wondering what if a cheater will join with 2 or more accounts under the same referral? What happens in this case?

(I'm working hard to get at least 100 referred people now)

If I catch them I ban them.

Pretty nice promo they are running, abit pricey for tickets but hey 300k is alot of money so i guess it adds up.

The Lambo is $200k which makes the 0.00025000 BTC tickets very cheap. Although with Bitcoin price going back above $6000 they are getting a little more expensive. You might want to get your tickets early if the bull run starts now.
But if you think about it if you win that prize it would all be worth it.
And you would consider it as a cheap price to pay for a great car.

I don't know what could be the reason you consider only 0.5 bitcoin of the tickets sold as "real" and the others are "given away" but in reality I honestly believe none of it was given away, these are money you may not have seen if you didn't had the contest so its all a profit for freebitcoin if you ask me.

All you need to do is look back at the site's history of past lottery draws (yes that's right, it's all available for everyone to see and is one of the best damn things about this site). Before 1 May, the date of the Lambo draw, people were still wagering and buying lotto tickets. So it's clear for all to see, there was money to be seen even before the contest started. As TheQuin says, hard to ask for hard numbers because it's subjective what a promotion does.
Well, I am not just standing around, I am buying every single ticket I could afford. Not only I have purchased all tickets I could on day one, ever since the lambo deal started I have been getting about 0.7"ish" ticket price every day, so in 3 days I collected 2 more tickets as well, tomorrow I will probably get another one too.

I know I have a very very small chance of winning this lottery but honestly I feel like if I am going to risk all the affiliate income from this website into one thing that has to be this.

If freebitcoin goes up and says the next lottery will be for a castle in Scotland that worth over 6 million dollars (I wouldn't be shocked about freebitcoin doing awesome stuff like that though) then I will be sad that I didn't keep all my money for that one but as long as that doesn't happen this is THE lottery to join.

..."Lamborghini bitcoin" ...

You may even contact local Lamborghini reseller to talk about the deal to get a good price to payout if anyone opt to this option. "Bitcoin for Lamborghini" is already itself somehow a legendary meme, and the company themself Lamborghini/Audi would definately happy to join with you lol.

Btw Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2 is cheaper which is quoted @200k as per contest price, however it nose/head look prettier than the more expesive one LP 580-4 (as per youtubler review) lol.

~what could be the reason you consider only 0.5 bitcoin of the tickets sold as "real" and the others are "given away" but in reality I honestly believe none of it was given away~

The point I made before was that the house edge is already used to pay for everything else on the site. If as it stands at the moment we end up selling less than half the value of the Lambo in tickets then rest has to come from an INCREASE in income from gambling. That is really the whole point of running a promotion like this. If you do a Google news search of "Lamborghini bitcoin" you'll see we have received some good publicity so far. How that translates into increased revenue and if that is enough to pay for Lambo remains to be seen.

Is there a way to follow how much my affiliates are buying tickets for?

We like to respect our customers' privacy. A lot of people refer their friends and family who wouldn't necessarily like the idea of their referrer knowing exactly what they do.

Is there a way to follow how much my affiliates are buying tickets for? I mean I don't know if I am getting in return for that (I assume I don't) but even if I am not profiting from my affiliates buying tickets (which I might be, once again I don't know) than at least I want to know how much tickets they have bought, that way I can see how many of them active and how many of them are doing exactly what on the website, why they joined and so forth.

I know one for example that didn't deposited anything so far but both got free faucets a lot and gambled a lot so that dude probably gets free money than loses it to the casino constantly Cheesy. I know one that deposited and literally just let it sit there I assume. So I wanna know how much of them would be interested in this one as well.

Also, OT I'm working hard of referrals now, hoping a millionaire will join with my link Cheesy

I sincerely wish you good luck in getting those referrals! I know the chances are slim, but on the other hand they are not that slim as one might think. There are 17 million millionaires in the world. Why one or two of them can't be your ref?

That's the spirit Cheesy I must be lucky at least one time on my life but so far only poor people joined  Grin

The main point is why would we take a look at only the purchased tickets, I mean if the date is set on 6 months then we can discuss about it anyway. What are the tickets received for? Affiliate income? Well why not? You are giving that away already, people would withdraw instead of playing so even that is a profit for you. Gambling?

Well, you have 5% house edge which we accept because the website offers a lot more stuff but it is one of the biggest I have ever seen. Free faucet on the other hand gives out literally less than 2 cents to everyone. I don't know what could be the reason you consider only 0.5 bitcoin of the tickets sold as "real" and the others are "given away" but in reality I honestly believe none of it was given away, these are money you may not have seen if you didn't had the contest so its all a profit for freebitcoin if you ask me.

So it is over $320k in the prize pool already although the contest has barely started. It is very likely that there will be over $1 million in the prize pool. Can we expect more than one Lamborghini then? Smiley

It's a lot lesser, the same wagered BTC gives the tickets for the normal lottery and the Lambo lottery. So a lot less "earning" they got so far.

Yeah, I understand it now. Took me some time, but it was worth it. Now I realize that my knowledge of how the site works was lacking in depth. It is a sophisticated and well-balanced system that has been giving many of us a chance of winning $200 every hour, risking absolutely nothing, for years. And not only we are risking nothing, but we are winning small amounts of satoshis each time we try.

... is there an easy way to see the calculations for how the winnings might work out if you win? For example, if you bet, it shows you a rough estimate of how much your prize money will be IF you win?

That isn't really possible because it works on a percentage split of the total prize pool at the end. That prize pool and the proportion of it placed on the winner changes with every new bet placed.

Is there a set time for new betting events to be added? Or should I just keep checking the page?

It's all still a bit experimental at the moment. We started adding the shorter single match events because that was what people here asked for, but there wasn't really much betting happening. Doing it this way makes a lot of manual work for us so it doesn't really seem worth it. We're looking into available sports betting feeds to see if we could integrate them instead. The PvP betting does seem to be popular with the longer term events so we'll probably add more of those. Just keep checking the page. We are going to make it sortable by category soon so you'll be able to list it by most recently added.

I made a couple of bets as well, but I wouldn't know how it works with payouts until I win/lose them. I managed to get them in at 99% weight... is there an easy way to see the calculations for how the winnings might work out if you win? For example, if you bet, it shows you a rough estimate of how much your prize money will be IF you win?

@TheQuin, do you know if Freebitco.in serves requests from any domains other than these?
~

This is the full list of subdomains currently.

Code:
-snip-

There might be more added so if possible I would use a wildcard *.freebitco.in instead.

Thanks! As far as I know, Pihole doesn't support regex or wildcard whitelisting at the moment so it's easier for me to just put a list of domains in. If it breaks again, I'll figure it out and whitelist whatever new subdomains are added.

Seeing how many tickets are bought already

and that 179 days left until the end of the contest makes me wonder what if, say, over a million tickets will be bought in the end?

I mean 0.00025 BTC, the price of one ticket, is $1.43 currently, and

1.43 × 227153 = 324,828.79

So it is over $320k in the prize pool already although the contest has barely started. It is very likely that there will be over $1 million in the prize pool. Can we expect more than one Lamborghini then? Smiley

Crypto millionaire would already around here long enough and would already been with the site. A chance for a USD millionaire to appear under your referrals list by now is slim but would be possible anyhow if you convince them enough reasons Cheesy. May be a Las Vegas professional gambler one day may wish to hide his ass from these censoring methods/ cameras by switching to gamble with crypto anonymously.
