This is a wonderful platform to get Bitcoin, however, the chances of getting something tangible is very low. Secondly, you can spend the entire day and end up making nothing. I have tried it.

That is the thing that all faucets have in common, it is not a quick rich scheme.
You won't win big amounts, but even small amounts can become big in the future. Remember that the site also offers a 4.08 % yearly interest, which is quite nice and generous  Wink.

That's kind of the point as far as I can tell. The free part is to attract people into using other parts of the site: lottery, multiply btc and investments in the site.

How long is it going to be disabled for?

Until wetsuit has time to code up some things we are working on. If they work then we will be able to reverse it.

why do you refuse advertisements?

We used to run adverts and got rid of them for two reasons. Firstly the income dwindled to a tiny amount as advertisers switched away from incentivised sites. That's mainly due to bots as well, who wants to pay for a page impression nobody is going to see? The second reason is that the only advertisers left were dubious looking HYIP scams and we don't want our site to be associated with anything like that.

Take a look at this screen, here it is clear that I have all satoshi who got in free throws, lost in the casino.

My commiserations at losing the free money we gave you. The ban probably means you were doing something that made us very sure you were using a bot.

If I'm not wrong they completely blocked buying lottery tickets with free money which site is providing people. If not, their purpose will be defeated because they want to restrict people from buying tickets who are using bots to get free money.

If they allow users to buy tickets from free money after certain amount deposit then all bot users also can do the same.

That's pretty much it.

<...>We're working on ways to stop them but in the meantime we have disabled the purchase of lottery tickets with free winnings.

Suppose I had 0 balance and then deposit 10k satoshis and use it to buy 10k lottery tickets, can I then roll and use my faucet giveaway balance to buy lottery tickets?

Sorry, you cannot buy lottery tickets with your winnings from the FREE BTC game. You need to deposit bitcoin to buy lottery tickets.

Doh thats a shame for the little guys, pity it cant just be limited or linked to the fact I've been messing about with this site for a while.  Where as a bot type operation will just spam in the new accounts and not really value or place any normal kind of regular traffic to the site, I would guess there is a difference in activity between the two but perhaps its too slight to discern :/

I also agree on the advertising idea, so long as its quite subtle and not intrusive I dont think that many people mind an occasional advert to help with a sites upkeep.   Before Bitcoin, advertising was the kind of currency that kept the internet alive with its little flow of funds.
That just now goes against the website's name. Might be the case that the website wants to earn profits.

More people deposit = more people will automatically be attracted towards multiply btc game. And with thag hugh 5% house edge people will loose.
Thus generating an overall profit for the website

This is the message I'm getting today.

Sorry, you cannot buy lottery tickets with your winnings from the FREE BTC game. You need to deposit bitcoin to buy lottery tickets.

Then faucet money is only for playing dice game right?

I was visiting this site to buy free lottery tickets a few times in a week. Not lucky for over a year so not sure in future as well.

Thank you...

And now look here.https://prnt.sc/kj550u
And how it turns out that I did not take anything from the site and he banned me? Really, you want that people would pay off deposits. And it does not matter, bot or real person. If the bots start making deposits, you will not ban them, but you will ban real people saying that they are scammers only because they do not make a deposit and do not bring money to the site.
this is not a charitable foundation. they want to earn.

All the faucets, live from behind it, and envy your popularity. Personally, I get pissed off about advertising and advertising risky investments, but I do not interfere with advertising - Google, and for example, food products and so on.
I do not blame you, I'm just interested in your position.
And yet, you are so keen on fighting with bots that you forgot about ordinary users. Now you are direct text saying that people need to invest more in the site than to receive from free throws.

You'll also notice that usually we sell and giveaway about 400 to 500 million tickets but last week was over 1 billion and this week 1.3 billion. Since we've reduced rewards for non-gamblers and restricted the Reward Point redemptions to try and stop the botnets they have switched to buying lottery tickets with their free-roll winnings.

It looks to me like those 8 accounts are likely part of large botnets. We're working on ways to stop them but in the meantime we have disabled the purchase of lottery tickets with free winnings.

How long is it going to be disabled for? I'm trying to trying to unlock higher RP bonuses by buying lottery tickets but I can't even do it now without depositing. All I can do is either gamble it all away or watch my free roll claim amount dwindle day by day before I can even reach the withdrawal threshold. I'm pretty bummed that the bots are making it hard for the honest users.

Sorry, had to rant a bit.

@jackg All gambling sites have a high turnover of users and it is obvious that newer accounts are more likely to be active than older ones. Last week was exceptional however because we did get hit by a huge botnet.

Instead of nonsense reply, answer my question!

They question is why 99% of winners are new users!
How many times we see old ID in winners? 2 out of 1000 times?

Duh, a lot of people give up on crypto quite quickly.
Or they don't stick around with faucets like these because they have better options for earnings rather than spending time earning 30 something satoshi an hour. The house edge is quite high compared to other online casinos. The earning on investment is still a fairly new feature and no one can really trust it with high amounts of money because we don't know wetsuits identity.

I'm just pulling up the bad points of this site as to why people leave, I don't expect this to be considered "trolling" @theQuin?

I registered in august 2015 and my ID is about 1500000.
A lot of older users are also possibly using their referral links to earn money so aren't counted in the lottery.

It is not nonsense to point out that I have already answered the question and you jumped into a conversation by quoting the first post of it and haven't considered the other information in the following replies.

We regularly ban botnets so they are new accounts each time. If you look back through the lottery past results you'll see the pattern recently since the botnets gave up on getting to minimum withdrawal and switched to playing the lottery.

usually the number of tickets winners have is covering a wide range. like from 400 tickets to 4 million. but this round it seems like the lucky number was around having 25k tickets. basically every 7 or if we want to stretch it a bit 8 including the first one had near that number of tickets ...

~

Lol, I checked the top 10 of lottery this week and nr 6 won 0.09 BTC with 50 tickets. My hart was pumping as I always buy 50 tickets every round, but I quickly found out that I am not the lucky one  Cheesy. Too bad, would like to win some day (like everybody else on here  Grin)

I like to win with my 200-500 tickets per week which I gain for free. that would feel a lot better Grin

Try reading back what is in between the post you just quoted and this one. That is what we have been discussing.

Yea, it was strange to see lots of winners with 25k tickets entered into the Lottery this week.  http://prntscr.com/ki367e
indeed, I noticed that too. it seems like an organized bot behavior buying/collecting ~25k tickets
though I'm curious on the method that they use, did they actually make deposit and play multiple btc?
by my calculation, on a 4x reward weekend, each account needs to wager minimum 0.025 BTC
that gives 5k tickets and 20k RP, then convert RP to ticket for total 25k tickets
or spent 25k satoshi to buy tickets? or used RP for lottery ticket boost on claiming free rolls?

They were not playing dice at all just free-rolls and buying lotto tickets with all the winnings. They organise the bots so that they are referred to other bots but they don't make each network very big so it is difficult for us to find. To get 25k tickets in a week just from free-rolls and referral on free-rolls takes about 10 referrals.

@BTCevo I thought I asked you to stop signature spamming this thread.

I believe it does not really matter on how much tickets that you can get too but as long as you are lucky enough to be part of their winners then so be it. Anyway, I do not think people want to spend their RP for tickets, I do not saying that it is not worth but RP may be is good enough for a solid prize rather than gamble it for the prize which we never know the result
