5% isn't really that huge though. I mean it is quite rediculously high and 0.5% is better but all the sites with 0.5% house edges take investors and they don't give out stable commision, sometimes you earn, sometimes you lose it's just the luck of the draw.
Some people would probably play this site because they're less likely to win so when they do win it is worth more because the chance of them winnng is so much lower.

Naah,  snipers (including sniping software) includes pushing the price up on purpose early to discourage normal users from jumping in causing the price to rise organically (slowly) and then all the sniper has to deal with are other snipers at the very end.  Then right at the end,  they all make a mad dash at it.  This is common for electronic or highly sought after items.  For items that dont really have much popularity,  you wouldnt see snipers pushing the price up at all and they just show up at the very end.  Sniping consists of more than just the end but thats where they are most visible yes.

Besides,  you couldnt pay me enough to snipe anything lol.  I'd wager that the current #1 is probably 20+BTC in the hole lol.  But that cant proven without the statistic to back it up.  It should also show the user's "personal stats page" to show that betting isnt or is worth the reward.  Without that statistic,  I default to assuming that this clown just lost 20+ BTC and is to embarrassed to cry about it lol.  All problematic gamblers hide their losses and pretend they never happened.
