Do I look like a bot? why I was blocked, please check and fix it Sad Sad Sad Sad

You could well be using one for all I know, or you may have an IP address that has previously been abused, or that may be one of many accounts you have, or you may have been incorrectly identified for some reason. PM me your IP address as well the user ID and I'll add it to the list I'm compiling for wetsuit to check.

Am I doing something bad? I develop software... -snip-
Yes, you are doing a bad thing, thanks for admitting that you are in fact a botnet creator.
Botnets abuse the referral systems, making people who play fair, win a lot less satoshis. As such this is in direct conflict with the website terms of use, this what's and why it is bad.
Where coding a soft and spreading it, is not particularly evil, there harming regular players and website owners, definitely is.
Troubles with botnets can and are costing additional money, as the countermeasures against cheaters tend to be expensive.
By running this unfair net you are ruining, spoiling the fun for everyone else.
I know that almost nothing will convince you to stop, easy money have this corrupting effect on people, however think about symbiosis and equilibrium with the environment. If you drain the faucet faster than it can replenish it self than your source of easy income will be gone forever. Stop acting like a virus and than you will be entitled to objections about being condemned etc.

Am I doing something bad?

Yes and you know you are, you already told me that.

I develop software, I share it with people, people collect their satos, I get the promised percentage of them dripping from them. what is my fault? why do they condemn me so?

You created and shared a bot, of course, that is your fault. If you can't work out why you are condemned for that there isn't much chance of having a reasoned conversation about it.

this is just one way to attract referrals to you, everyone attracts referrals as much as I can, I chose this path.
yes, I'm a developer and I know how to develop programs, I like it and I disinterestedly share my developments, I develop software not only for the site of the freabitkine, but many others for the site. it allows me to develop. I teach people not only to rob a casino, but also to competently develop further, my subscribers on YouTube channel learn to trade on stock exchanges, collect satos from cranes and much more, all this brings income to me and you. I already wrote to you that if you want me to get these people to play a game, they will do it, without any problems

The funniest thing about this is the referral link he is advertising for the site. He wants to make a few Satoshis from other people, when he is taking with his bots. Wetsuit should follow his referral link and disable all his referrals and his account.

He did admit that he was one of the bots attacking Wetsuit's site.  Angry Oh, this site did have a charity option and people here donated 1000s of dollars to that charity.

That's what his 'botnet' is. He distributes his bot to his referrals via his youtube channel, they pay the captcha solve fees and he collects the referral income.

I haven't heard from wetsuit as he's really busy with other things right now but I suspect that is exactly what he has done.

We only removed the charity option because Save the Children stopped taking donations in Bitcoin.

yes, thanks to you I have to spend several days at the computer to increase my botnet network several times)
but I'm not upset, I already wrote that it's still profitable to work with you

You know, I could never figure out why people would milk the cow to death, until I read this post. These botnet operators does not care about the cow, they just care about the money. This faucet had to combat these bots for years and when they eventually shut down, because these bots milked them to death, then nobody is going to get money, even these guys.

This is like stealing from charities or churches and/or goodwill organisations.  Angry
I do not want to tell you about what is right and what is not.
about charity, I will only say one thing - if you want to donate money - donate them to a charitable foundation, and do not encourage people to gamble.

very good comparison. casino is a charitable organization.
usually everything happens the other way around, the casino is robbing people. judging by the fact that they are still working, they are good at doing it!

I think the member is referring to the faucet side of this site. You are taking funds that are channelled to the faucet, not some

"trick" to beat the gambling side of this site. The faucet is much like a charity, because it gives FREE money to strangers.

To me it does not matter who you are stealing this money from, you are still taking money in a dishonest manner and that

is wrong.  Angry

true, the focus of this site was on being a faucet with a side of dice, that is why the house edge of it is higher too. which meant google ads and they also use to have banner ad space on their website for people to place their advertisement there. but it was removed shortly after the google thing, and from then the focus shifted to becoming a dice site and all the rest of the additions such as investment, mining, lottery,...

Although I've only been working for them for 1 month I have been using the site since the 1st week it started. When it was launched it was entirely funded by the adverts and briefly the dice game was 0% house edge. Within a couple of weeks the bots turned up to exploit it and the house edge was added to combat that. Since then it has always been a dice site and faucet rather than just a faucet. After Adsense went there was a period when advertising was both sold directly through the site and using other advert networks (Mellow Ads Etc.). Those ads didn't bring in much revenue and were either quite scammy (HYIP, cloud mining) and/or garish distracting ads that didn't give a good impression of the site.

Of course, the faucet is there to attract new customers to the dice game. The only thing that really distinguishes it from other gambling sites is that they only allow you to claim their faucet when your balance is zero and then you have to try and gamble it up to the minimum withdrawal amount. Whereas we allow you just to keep on claiming and never gamble at all if you want to. That works fine unless large numbers come along all using bots to maximise what they can get from the faucet. That takes a disproportionate amount of the faucet budget and means there is less for legitimate users. The part that probably isn't so widely understood is that the bots pay for captcha solving services, so if that is cheaper than what they can get from the faucet then there is a huge profit in running a large botnet. All the changes we make are to try and make things unprofitable for them. Unfortunately, that also makes it harder for legitimate users to profit from the faucet alone.

good job)

I haven't heard anything from wetsuit as he's busy with personal matters at the moment. It was nice of you to self-identify as a bot abuser and I personally will be very pleased if your network of bot using friends have been banned.

Due to the unpopularity of the change wetsuit has decided to remove the RP redemption restrictions and try and figure out another way of fighting the botnets.

I do agree that faucet money is not a charity because gambling site owner giving this free money to encourage people to spend more time on the site so that some of the members may attract to other features of the site and finally they can spend their money on those features.

Initially, site owners were making a good money from advertisements but when Google Adsense banned their account but now he is getting more profit from the hi-low game. If they don't make a profit from the site then they will also stop this so-called charity work.

Totally. It is well known in business that if you want to improve your sales, you’d better give something for free. This site doesn’t give satoshis away out of pure altruism, it’s just because it brings people to play the hi-low game.

When you say 'swap' do you mean exchange as in buy or sell one for the other? If so that's the plan.

Yeah, that's what I meant : a kind of instant conversion from one coin to another

That's the main addition to the site, providing an instant exchange. Bcash, ETH, Doge and then maybe others as well.

Any news about this announcement !!!
Sorry about the delay in payments the last few days, we had a few users making large withdrawals which drained our hot wallets and created a backlog in sending payments out. We have a better hot-wallet refill policy in place now which should hopefully minimize such issues in the future.

A few points to clarify the re-branding:

  • The re-branding and addition of new coins will not happen suddenly, it will be done over a period of a few months and we shall send 3 emails over this time so that pretty much all of our users are aware before the name change.
  • We have the freebitco.in name registered until 2025 so even after the name change, all freebitco.in links will work as usual (no need to change banner or referral links etc.) and everyone visiting freebitco.in will be seamlessly directed to the new website with a message informing them of the re-brand.
  • All coins will have all of the features that bitcoin has but I am yet undecided about the lottery (maybe it will be a combined one with the prize paid out in the currency of the users choice)
  • Users will be able to claim only 1 coin every hour to begin with but hopefully I can increase the limits eventually.

The re-brand is part of a process to make freebitco.in more than just a faucet. My plan is to implement a no-KYC shapeshift.io style exchange after the rebrand to enable users to exchange between coins instantly. I feel like we have outgrown the freebitco.in name and the rebrand will allow us to do a lot more stuff without people associating the website with being just a faucet which somewhat restricts our growth now.
And let me suggest this : adding swap option ( Eth <=> BTC ) would be appreciated , right ??
