Such huge user-base would surely generate additional income on those platforms not to mention it could be first event of this type in business. It would of course mean another serious changes to the system and more expenses, can you imagine the first real bitcoin lotto machine (balls with numbers) that you can watch/play online... revolution.
Huge step, imo whoever makes it will take over small gambling world of bitcoin.

Couple of issues with that:

1). Creating a wheel for 200 million tickets and 500,000+ users/round would need a really huge wheel so that everything is visible.
2). Also, it is not automated so it will need to be done manually at a fixed time every week which might not be possible always.
3). Thirdly, pre-recorded videos can be made to appear as live.

I needed a system that is air-tight, automated and can be verified easily. This system fulfills all those criteria.

You are correct that there is potential in doing a live lottery, but it would need to be done as a lotto game like the UK national lottery.

Have read thru the terms. And it is good to know that freebitco.in is doing this updates and improvement. The very first hi-lo site I have visited when I was new to btc. Just having a double-thought in depositing as I knew the house edge is very high compared to competitors.

This explains how the site makes income. There is no adds or anything that can provide for the site except gamblers at the moment. They give high interests and lottory prizes(which i seriously doubt) and only way to afford all these plus make a profit is high house edge.

Speaking of lottory runs, i wonder if anyone was lucky enough to win anything (not necesseraly the jackpot) from it. I personally never won anything and never seen a post that shares a proof of winning. Somebody mentioned above that winning of $200 was published once. Live mode don't make draw provably fair. First of all, it's possible to show recorded video like it would be live. And even if it really broadcasted live, there would be no guarantee that draw isn't rigged.

Yes this is so true, if they can't verify the bet so it can't be called as provably fair system although it has already been live mode. They need to make it as fair as possible but until now there is no way we can prove the system is being honest yet. It's the chance of taking any of the 10 winning places. I wondered about that a couple weeks ago too, but you can easily divide your number of tickets by the total number of tickets and multiply it by 100%. You should then see the chance you'll win the first prize. Multiply it by 10 and that's the chance you should be seeing.
