Well as far freebitco.in lottery is concern, why we should put a quite trust about their lottery. It's an obvious that chances to win there is really low even you bought a bunch of tickets. Back then, there was a discussion if by any chance, there's a case that the one who won from their lottery has also an active account here in bitcointalk but unfortunately no one (afaik) have the claims like that.

Lottery or high-low game is just kind of gambling, and everyone who is starting with that should to know that can win, but also can lose everything.
In other way it looks like you get something for free, you can gamble that, and you can win even more. If you lose that what you get for free, actually don't make you loser, it was just not lucky day/game for you.
So you do not pay for your electricity then? The amount of electricity you spend, to browse to this site and then to solve the Capthca is more than the few Satoshi's that you will receive from it. How much are you being paid per hour in your job? Take that hourly rate, and divide it into minutes, and then calculate how much you get paid per minute.
Compare the amount of money you get paid per minute in your full time job, with the 1 to 5 minutes you spend to login to freebitco.in and then to solve that Captcha, then add the electricity you spend to do that, and see if hourly payout of 300 to 500 Satoshi's will show you a profit? ... My guess... NOT.
It's a fun thing to do, but it's definitely not FREE money. The only FREE money, will be if you WIN that $200 and there are no proof that it ever happened to anyone in the 3 to 4 years of this sites existence.
They have mastered the method to draw people to their site, with the promise of FREE money, < Both hourly and in the Lottery > but nobody has ever reported that they have won ANY of the big < carrots >

Even some local lotteries are always like that. Only lotteries that seem fair are the state lotteries. But those are next to impossible to win.
i am using this site for a long time and i have not won any lotteries nor i know about anybody who won a lottery from that site and i do even think that the dice game is rigged,i am also not accusing the site but i am voicing my doubts

In fact there are many people do not really care about the fairness of the lottery, they only think that there is a chance to win huge money just by playing their faucet. It attracts so many newbies to come with a hope to win the lottery, at first they play it for free then they will think that they will have better chance to win if they deposit some money and buy the tickets as many as they can.

If you're an owner of the site and you don't declare how you are going to choose a winner, then owner of the site can do anything or pick whoever he wants. Because the complete site is under his control. So if you're not clear on how they are going to pick a winner then don't buy any tickets from them.

Also their faucet which is 0.00000326 BTC is not so big and from my experience it's impossible to win more there like they claim. To tell the truth I had been winning there $0.2 in BTC several times but it was long time ago, more than a year ago to be more accurate. I think the site was sold after that and the new owners are not so generous.
Yeah their faucet is not big but at least they still pay with never delay and bad issues on their site. Compare to other faucet which has so many ads around, I think their faucet is better and they even give free ticket for lottery although their lottery system seems not provably fair

A Lottery can be rigged in many ways, if you have zero transparency and if you can justify that by saying that you are protecting the users privacy.
