I see so this explains everything on how FUN tokens involved on this project, I was so skeptical on freebitco.in end up using FUN tokens instead of having there own although FUN token idea is good but luck on implementation to different Casino that will use there tokens. Thank you for giving me this piece info which explains everything and let guide to a fresh start research for this token before I buy.

I will more confident to invest on token knowing there’s a new owner and has a strong Casino to have a good utility for the token. Gonna add this FUN token on my investment stash right now. I believe this Fun token project is in same era with Bitdice, Edgeless, Vdice and other token based Casino that’s now failed or inactive.

You can't really go wrong with buying these FUN tokens if you plan to keep them long enough. With the amount of free WOF spins that you will get and if you have enough tokens also increased interest on BTC + cashback, you will get your investment back in about 1 year or a little bit longer.

Nothing lasts forever
The main question is do you have use of the benefits to holding FUN token, if you do I dont see the point especially of selling.    You may choose also to not lock in order to speculate in future and sell them.   I dont mind the lock as I have zero intention of selling near term.   I would sell into a frothy type market where the token price had risen alot but we arent anywhere near to that, I think it can happen especially if people dont expect it to occur.
Dont sell into the first trend of gains, thats a classic mistake made by the public but of course its impossible to tell you exactly as you may have a need for the funds elsewhere or just know a better trade.   The ideal is to sell at the tail end of a series of gains rather then the beginning and easiest of all is just to use the benefits and not worry about juggling them especially, I think its hard to judge them as a trade.  My take for BTC this year is just back and forth or range bound, a breakout cant occur every year on the scale we've seen I think its distributes and thats a good thing & some of that capital will come here imo.

That's true. The whole point of locking the FUN tokens for a period of 1 year proves that we don't care what the price of FUN token is for the next 1 year.
We are getting to utilize the benefits of holding it which is itself a good deal. Even I have locked up my FUN tokens for a period of 1 year.
Even if this year doesn't bring big gains to crypto marketcap we will definitely see a huge increase in the next 2-3 years.
So why not just hold the FUN tokens and reap the benefits of holding it.

That has been something I rooted for and talked about many times before. If you have Fun tokens, you could see that as an investment if you want to, and that is a legit approach and I have nothing against it. However, people are forgetting that there are people like me, who do not buy it to sell it. I have no intention of selling mine, and to be fair I keep "buying" more and more with the affiliate income that I make. That way I do not put money in my pocket into fun tokens, but I prefer not to put money in my pocket for it, so basically the same thing with a little twist.

This allows me to grow it bigger and then make a bigger return, specially that interest rate is the one that I care about so much. The max is 5% if I am not wrong right? Maybe I calculated it wrong but 5% on BTC is insanely good return.

If you can lock them for 1 year which based on what you say is no problem as you have no intention to sell, the return for 1 year is like 25% APY,which for 50.000 FUN is like near 13.000 FUN extra or for 100.000 FUN near 26.000 FUN extra and so on,just convert the FUN tokens in Bitcoin with the actual price and you will see that for 50.000 FUN you get like 0.0033 Bitcoin yearly and for the second amount 0.0066 Bitcoin yearly,I don't think it is a bad return. It is in fact the best I have seen on Bitcoin. Now I am not 100% convinced what to do,get all the satoshis I receive from a few refs and my WoF spins and convert them to FUN,or just keep locking FUN for 15 days or one month and with the return sell these FUN earned on interest to raise my Satoshi stash?

Interesting.
Could you tell us if you checked Release Notes, did Google mention anything about it?
Or maybe it was one of 'bugfix' patches and now they check if shortcut already exists.
Which browser do you use? If you with a completely new, unused browser, does pop-up appear? I wonder if it is matter of browser or system.

I use Chrome on my smartphone, and I haven't checked what exactly it is because Google very often has updates for its services via Google Play - but that pop-up stopped appearing immediately after updates. I think it's a combination of both, although I didn't make a browser update, there seems to have been a hole in the system through which that pop-up was persistently displayed even though notifications and pop-up ads were blocked.

So basically you need to keep 500000FUN for 180days to have +22.5% rate, which gives 5% (using 4.18% as a base rate).
The question is if

@PawGo, does this mean that the owner has decided to introduce this feature on their site? Since you know what this is about, how can an ordinary user block such things?

Yes, it is managed by site owner/developer.

I am not sure if you may disable it on browser level (maybe some browsers has that feature, I do not know), but after you reject it, it should not appear anymore. But if you use private mode or clear browsing data, maybe it will be proposed again.

It will reappear after 2-3 days, and even if you accept it , and use the app (it works like a shortcut), it will ask you again and again.

Yesterday I made some updates from Google Play related to Google services, and that pop-up immediately disappeared - so for all those who are irritated by the same thing, there is a solution.

Interesting.

Is this FUN token was this https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/funtoken/ token that introduced last 2018?  I newly noticed that freebitco.in has there own native token and not sure if I’m buying the right one. I knew the Fun token that I attached few years ago but I’m not that Freebitco.in already implement this token to there games. I’m just checking your math on the profit computation and maybe you should add the possible price decrease of the token value on 365 days of staking base on the YTD chart of FUN token to get an accurate profit result in FIAT and not in tokens for the value.

It was previously bought over by this site last year. Project was more or less "dead" at that time so this buy over breathes new life into FUNToken.

freebitco.in is still cheaper than many exchanges and casinos when withdrawing coins, however they are not responsible for this. It is just blockchains are inefficient systems for making small trades. Eventually the prices get higher, the fees get higher too. If bitcoin is too expensive for you use something else (like FUN?) or use another casino because it is not going to get any better for bitcoin.

I was rather thinking about buying at Binance and transfer to freebitco. On the other hand, BTC withdrawal fee is 0.0005, which means they take 50000 sat, which gives 1785FUN (at the price 28sat). So you are right, direct operation on FUN is more expensive.

Could someone tell me why network fee is so high?
To withdraw from Binance - 2400, which now is more than $25. But ok, Binance is Binance, their business.
On freebitco it is 440, which is almost $5. Still a lot, no?

I've been trying to stake my FUN tokens for 1 month and therefore, I want to try to stake them for 360 days. The increase to get the reward itself isn't that much for 360 days as I just buy bits and pieces and stake them.

But especially for those of you who have a lot of FUN tokens, I'm sure you will get many rewards in the next 1 month. Yes, all of us as investors would expect the price to rise to more than 1 cent. We'll just have to wait and see how the FUN token price will be.

Just right now I was making a calculation and the interest for staking FUN for 360 days for 50.000 FUN locked gives you near 12500 FUN tokens which can be translated with the actual Bitcoin price in 0.003xx rewards in Bitcoin yearly, looks like a lot to me if you just hold FUN tokens to use your Premium Membership benefits and to increase your Satoshis there in order to earn more and more interest from the Bitcoin amount you keep with them. For me though personally the best is 1 month lock as I will sell the FUN tokens earned in order to increase my Satoshis and slowly build a balance which can give good interest.Once the lock period is finished I will lock again for one month and keep repeating.Looks like a great use of the Freebitco.in site to me.

FUN token is considered an ERC20 token and if you see the gas fees on the link https://etherscan.io/gastracker you will see that although Ethereum native fees are low 25 Gwei right below them you have the ERC20 tokens which is 4.39 USD so Freebitco.in is using the normal fee compared to Binance. However the best is to sell them for Bitcoin and then withdraw the Bitcoin, this way you will save the fees of ERC20 tokens.

This is the faucet that I have known for so long it makes me kind a regret not using it continuously back in my newbie days and holding it,
I wonder if I would be holding a whole BTC right now if I haven't stop from using this and withdrawing most of my earning from their captcha.
I remember spamming my referral code back then but I was too late and most of my crypto friends are already on the site.
My goal back then was to win on their lottery but I got tired since I used their site for too long without even winning.

Ok, let's look at that....

Back in the day, Freebitco.in gave 1000 Satoshi per hour... for this argument, let's say it kept on doing that. There are 100 000 000 Satoshi in 1 bitcoin divided by 1000 Satoshi = 100 000 times you need to get 1000 Satoshi per hour. Let's say you managed 10 per day = 10 000 days you will need to get to 1 full Bitcoin from the faucet. (10 000 days = 27.40 years)

So, looking at the current 50 or so Satoshi people receive now.... it might take 100+ years to get 1 full bitcoin from Freebitco.in  Grin Grin Grin   (It might be better to get a second job and to convert that income into bitcoins.... you will reach that 1 bitcoin a lot faster that way)  Grin
Well Faucet isn't the only thing that you could use to earn in that site and it isn't always the lowest prize that you would get.
Besides it was the lottery that I was aiming back then not really the Bits from the faucet,
But thanks for the calculation I was to lazy to do it but still little bit curious about how long it would take.

I really regret it is not possible to cancel locking (retrieving locked amount, without profit). I also wonder why they did not implement it the way they have for BTC - you earn +-4% annually without any locking (and you get your part every day, no need to wait).

Maybe it was good for the past, when there was not way to spend FUN - now they have casinos and I think it would be nice to have a way to attract people to keep FUN, having it also available for games.

The interest they give for FUN is also a lot higher than for BTC, so it makes sense that you can not unlock them so easy. You are also not forced to lock all of your coins, I lock only a certain part to gain some extra free FUN tokens and with the rest I speculate/play games.
I believe that is a measure to decrease supply of FUN for sale on the market, keeping the price more tanky or stable, especially after a pump, that would lead many investors with locked funds to unlock their tokens and sell it for instant profit taking the market's appreciation opportunity, instead of relying on the paid interest after a "X" period of time locked to make that same profit or even less.
