With the FUN APY 45% savings it is a great incentive in my opinion to keep increasing our number of tokens and get better benefits as we do so.Personally I have got all in during the first stage of this and will get about 300 tokens more in just 15 days,it is not a bad amount.If everything goes smoothly I will lock completely again my FUN tokens,I consider this as a passive way of reaching higher level of benefits in the Premium membership somewhat faster as I can continue to buy tokens with what I win from daily rolls and WoF spins.

Its not just a one off instance I've seen similar before, often its cheaper to take over an existing project then start from beginning and FUN was already a gambling token in action for some years. Theres details given on this but they have taken it over from the original creators, I think it will take time to come into an economy of its own perhaps more then a year but so long as the benefits to holding continue it should pan out I think is fair assumption.
On the rates I'd guess the initial promotional rates are superior, 45 is an obvious headline rate and so 25 compared to that I considered worth having longer term. I'm taking the 15 day term on just small speculative amounts as well.

Thanks for posting that article. It saves me a lot of time explaining it all. I wouldn't say it was dead before but Gas fees were seriously holding it back. It made a lot more sense taking over a token that already had a utility and developing it further than it would have buying something that was dead or starting from scratch with a new token.

yes, can somebody enlighten us why all of those tokens, they chose FUN token to integrate in their system? maybe the rep here can clarify once and for all. but no matter what their reasoning is, it seems they are finding it hard to improve the price of FUN since its inception to this site. consider that the trading competition is held at binance, twice already. and now they introduce the fun savings aside from the previous benefits of holding certain amt of tokens. for now, just bank on the free WOF spins, cash back & interest boost. maybe you can already reap your rewards from those benefits

If it's one time promotion, it will expire after 139 hours, or almost 6 days. So, if he will lock tokens for 15 days, later he won't be able to lock it for 360 days because this promotion will expire until it. Unless Freebitco.in will offer it again after some time.The 45% APY is the one time promotion and not the 360 days locked staking. Even if you decided to lock it on the last minutes before the promotion ended, I think you will still receive the interest for the next full 15 days . Im not sure how this type of promotions works in freebitco.in but this is normally how it works on binance and I think they kinda copy this from Binance.
After the 15 days locked staking ended then you can always switch for the 360 days locked staking

Just locked all my FUN tokens for 360 days. I'm not planning to sell it anytime soon, I keep it mainly because of benefits of Premium Membership. So, why not to use chance to get decent amount of tokens and maybe get even more benefits, like more WOF spins later.
No only the 45%APY rate is a one time promotion IMO. The FUN locking feature will stay after the 15th august from what I understood from the today newsletter and the post of freebitco.in PR on the previous page. That's what I thought too at first, but I think it's just the 45% APY on 15 days that is a one time promo. The opportunity to earn interest on FUN will still exist on freebitco.in, just not that specific interest rate.

I earn less than when I hold it for a minimum period,> why is this fair?
Its a simple math and there is even a calculator on the site that shows you the maturity amount after the locked period is over. In the end you will get alot more for the 360 days locked period
45% APY for 15 days = 0.123% daily for 15 days straight and after 15 days it is over.
25% APY for 360 days = 0.068% daily for 360 days
