I ve got a new private message from another Freewallet scam victim. This person didn't allow uet to make this situation public. But as far as I understand, Freewallet not just blocks accounts. Administration also sends coins to another adress without any users permission. Looks like they steal assets even before a client could (theoretically) pass KYC.

I suggest to create your own thread on this board and include everything you have in your side and theirs too.
If you have contacted their support include the chat/message logs there too, if what solution they are currently making (if there is) to solve your problem.

Yes, thats very important to make screenshots of your tickets and other proves. So that administration won't be able to act like nothing happened and someone is just trying to worsen the reputation. Because often they try to delete negative reviews by telling that "issues were solved" or "the problem occured just because of the clients fault"

You can tell more about your experience. Maybe we will be able to help you, for example to prepare official crime report.

The stories shared here highlight a pattern of targeted theft and manipulative tactics, yet people still entrust their funds to this platform. The community needs to question why individuals continue using Freewallet despite its notorious reputation.

Agressive marketing, I guess. And also they use some well known brands as their "partners".

Awful service. My experience was really negative: they answered 2 mails before totally ghost me, lost my money to their poor service and the support won't even open my mails

This is unthinkable! I sent the company a photo of my ID and a selfie with a piece of paper with my name written on it. But even this did not help to unlock access to the wallet

Did they answer anything?
I can help to write a big complaint if you still need some help.

Same situations repeat to often to be accidental.
I agree that KYC/AML are needed in some cases to stop money laundering, and some other crimes. But it can't be a purpose to block assets and then ignore customers.

They are selective scammers and we have thousands of similar stories, some of which were resolved after scam topic tops lists of first Google search and some of them were unable to restore his money, all you need is to create an independent scam topic with all the details and try to make other topics in Reddit, Twitter, and you may be able to access your account, once when you get it withdrawal it and do not use them.

Anyone who has encountered a similar problem, please advise what I should do. I'm trying to withdraw coins. Can't pass verification, support hasn't responded for 4 days

We need to stop freewallet scammers.

https://realreviews.info/report-freewallet-scam-attempt/

  • Tell us about the incident by emailing [email protected] Our lawyers will consult you for free, help you collect evidence and prepare an appeal to the competent authorities
  • Take screenshots confirming the theft of assets, unreasonable blocking of the wallet or ignoring requests by the Freewallet support team
  • Provide a description of the incident, attach screenshots, and send it to law enforcement in your area
  • Submit an abuse to ICANN (main domain registration organisation), claiming it to suspend all domains used by Freewallet scammers, including freewallet.org

In the reviews section, you can easily see good/quality reviews as they can buy positive reviews. So, there is no chance to rely on positive reviews and also few people or websites may give negative trust to hamper their business and this happens rarely.

Yeah, you can steal $1000 from any customer, and later pay $300 to people who'll write positive reviews + $300 for a lawyer to block websites with real customers/victims reviews

Quote
"The administration of the Freewallet.org could give a public response to these accusations. If Freewallet org really was a decent service, its representatives would at least try to explain the reasons why hundreds of people lost assets by transferring them to the wallets of this “company”. Instead, Freewallet lawyers are writing complaints accusing us in “illegal use of the trademark name”, although there is no evidence that such a trademark even exists (on the official website of Freewallet it is indicated that the owner of the service is a defunct company)."
The answer's here

I am currently in contact with them since somehow 160 MATIC got "lost" but I need to say I have used them for 3 years without  any issues sor far. I will keep you updated.

I sincerely wish you to get your coins back. But I guess that the opportunity to use their wallet and not to lose assets is something about good luck, but not a usual thing. If they would steal all money by all users, they would quickly get imprisoned.
Instead their "partial scam" allows to act like a usual service.

It's like their customers "reviews": you see someone who says "great wallet, i reccomend it" and you see someone telling that he got scammed. And you are like "Well if they would be a scammers there would be no good reviews, so maybe it's just an occasion"

Some more trickes by freewallet scammers disclodes here https://freewalletscam.com/freewallet-app-reviews-is-it-safe-and-legit/
