Marseille was previously able to perform quite consistently, but for some reason suddenly they crashed when they were in pretty good form at the beginning of the season, the loss to Strasbourg was actually the beginning of their inconsistency including when they had to get a draw from the anger in the previous match, so I think maybe it will also affect them when they have to face Montpellier in the match, I saw in the match against Angers that it was seen that the Marseille players were unable to control their emotions and in the so actually harmed themselves, so I think it is a problem that De Zerbi must immediately overcome at this time.

If you look at the head-to-head record between Marseille and Montpellier so far, they are still quite ahead of Montpellier with the last 31 meetings, Marseille won 16 times, while Montpellier only won 7 times, while the two teams draw in 8 matches so far, So this shows that Marseille has a good enough chance to win even though they play away later, but even so, of course it is important for Marseille to improve their current form if they don't want to get bad results like against Strasbourg and Angers.

In the end I believe we shouldn't really consider this indicating anything about PSG, just because they failed to win, doesn't mean they are bad.

This happens every season, we see PSG have just a bit of a bad game and suddenly we see them considered "this season will be different, they will be horrible" but we see how they are not actually horrible and we are going to end up with a much better result. We are going to see PSG be the champions, no matter who manages to win against them, in the end the league will be theirs. Until this whole Paris FC takeover thing at least.

I think Lyon is now far from the bottom zone and the results they get now are also quite good, they are currently in 8th position and I think they will enter the top 5 because they are doing a stable performance at the moment so I think Lyon will compete with the top 5 again and that's what they deserve.

This Ligue 1 table shows that PSG are challenged by more teams in Ligue 1 this season. After losing their biggest attacking star player Mbappe to Real Madrid, PSG are going to have more troubles in Ligue 1. Their domination can be broken in this season and with their bad result in Champions League, this season can be a nightmare transitional season for them.

With their richness, except if their club get punishments from UEFA because of financial violations, they will come back in next seasons. Clubs in Ligue 1 like Monaco, Marseille need to take advantage of transition in PSG, to win Ligue 1 in this season.

However I don't feel like it will take them much long to recover. Their next game is against another team having difficult days like Montpellier. Most probably they will make up for that 5 points loss in 2 games. They look dedicated this season. Wink

Various results like this give sense of skepticism and doubt towards some of the top team for the future until they have really found the strongest point by being able to have stable and consistent performance to get series of consecutive win, after all this I much more careful.

Talking about the Ligue 1 competition, this is indeed very amazing start because several team are able to play very well, now Monaco has shown significant development at the beginning of the season to be able to top the standings.
If it continues with the good performances shown by Monaco and Marseille, then there will be big competition here as I have said many times before the start of the competition that there will be better competition for Ligue 1 and this is competition that is rarely seen.
Hope is that there will be change with PSG defeat in fighting for the championship title, I sure if this really happens then we can see big unexpected surprise.

You are right, however, Monaco is not just going to win because of them being at the top of the table or I don't think if they can win just because of Monaco playing at home however these are all advantages for Monaco for against any team and these are a good reason to predict this match but I think one good reason for us to say Monaco can win this match is because of the last games they had.
Monaco won the last four games they had while Lille won two games and they had one draw and one loss which means Monaco had a much better performance than Lille.
