Finally Lorient has successfully get 3 points from Brest that playing at Brest home ground Lorient were conceded goal first but only took 7 minutes to Lorient can equalized the score and Terem Moffi has scoring 2 goals and help Lorient to win the match with slim score 2-1 and currently Lorient has taking over second position from Marseille and during participant in France league since been promoted this is the best achievement from them because before this season Lorient only the team who fight to avoid relegated zone and now they has been changed became an dark horses team who possibly to break the domination of Marseille or Monaco for top 4
quite impressive performance was shown by the Lorient team and they did beyond the expectations of many people, currently Lorient have won 8 matches 1 draw and 1 lost from the 10 matches they have played, if they can maintain their good game I am very sure Lorient will be able to finish in the top 4 this season.

while Marseille had a bad result this week, they suffered a loss at home against a bottom team, that's a shame and I lost a lot of bets in that game. and that's football a lot of surprising things happen and that's why football is always interesting because there are unexpected things.

It was a good performance by Lorient against Brest in this match. Considering that Lorient was playing against a team that was at the bottom of the table, this type of performance was expected of them, especially due to the fact that they were playing against them. Although I know that the scoreboard probably does not give the impression that they had a really good match, I personally believe that they did. They played really well and were very aggressive throughout the game. As a result of their aggressiveness, they were able to achieve good results in the end.

As of right now, they only have a one-point difference with PSG in terms of their standings. The fact that the teams are chasing PSG really appeals to me. My prediction is that they will keep chasing PSG until the end of the season.

There's a rumor around that Mbappe is not happy with the position and role that Christophe Galtier is using him in, Mbappe has not come out to openly say this, but from some football articles and the striker's tweet he made and deleted some days ago, it is rumored that he is unhappy and he wants the coach to deploy him in a different role or position. I do not know if Mbappe is actually angry at the coach since he has not been so influential in psg's games this season except for a few of them, and he is now crying for a change. When Mbappe signed his new contract, we believe it came with some promises that has made Mbappe a strong figure in PSG, both on and off the pitch Cheesy Cheesy, if that be it, the coach may be getting the wrong man upset Tongue.

Mbappe might even be the reason of Galtier's departure from the team in the future.  Grin

Because since he signed that contract with enormous conditions, he has been like the owner of PSG. The board respect him so much and take his wishes into consideration directly. They really need to do this because they are responsible for this result at the same time. Mbappe knows how much valuable he is to the team now and he wants to use this to his advantage as much as possible. I don't know how healthy and long this relationship between Mbappe and the team can be. It feels like there will be a huge disagreement between them at one point and Mbappe can suddenly leave the team.

But I don't think that it would be in this season of course. Mbappe must be focused on the Champions League title now.
PSG have been unlucky in the Champions League for years. They will probably not be able to win this year either, given the way the team is organised. As for Mbappe, such selfishness has been seen before at Real Madrid when Ronaldo was captain. The relationship between the players wasn't the best because of him either, but the team still did well.

A 0-0 draw against Reims gave PSG a point and kept their unbeaten streak alive. It was a good defensive performance against Reims, but the ball was not supplied to the strikers. In the absence of enough supply, strikers failed to put the ball in the net. Currently, Lorient is in second place behind PSG. Although a surprise package this season, PSG must face defeat before the point table becomes interesting.
With the strength that Paris Saint Germain has every season, it is difficult for other teams to be able to compete and win the title from Paris Saint Germain. Previously there was Marseille who was tight against Paris Saint Germain, but they were not tough enough to get points in every game, it was proven in their last match that suffered a defeat. Now that role is taken over by Lorient, but again I still don't believe in them. Because they have to wait for Paris Saint Germain to lose. Messi and colleagues' chances of losing are still very likely, but can Lorient appear consistently?

No one doubts that PSG are the strongest team in Ligue 1. as for, with a draw against Reims in the last match.
I think it can't be separated from the change in strategy and starting eleven that Galtier implemented in that match, for sure Galtier saved the energy of his players for the champions league match.
I don't know what he's thinking, but it's probably true that Christophe Galtier has his main focus on the Champions League instead of Ligue 1. The change in strategy and line-up he made in that game didn't help them get maximum points, but I'm sure Ramos' red card had an impact on the final result as well. The lack of defenders meant that Galtier had to change his strategy again after Ramos came off, although Neymar was given chances in the second half.
No wonder when they changed their focus to prioritize the Champions League, because that has been their dream for a long time. Moreover, their work in Ligue 1 is fairly easy for a team that has star-studded players like them. They are the unbreakable reigning champions in this Ligue 1, they will easily defend the title with a competition like this. There is no doubt that they will remain the best here.

In the second leg later, SPG wants full points when playing at home to host Benfica later.
Benfica are a strong team if we judge from how they have ended their last 3 Champions League matches, but PSG are of course the favorites in that match. Victory will bring them safer, so PSG must maximize their chances.

PSG's match strategy was completely different in this match. PSG played a completely defensive strategy in this match and the players performed very carefully. Because their next match is against Benfica. They want to win the next match against Benfica. For this reason, PSG played very carefully against Reims, so that none of their players suffered injuries.

However, the performance of Reims in this match is very commendable. Although the Reims players failed to break down PSG's defense, they did attack a lot. If they are able to maintain this consistency in the upcoming matches, their position in the points table will change..

Grin Ramos received his next red card, this time for talking to the referee (apparently he insulted him). What a man!
If I remember correctly, he is the Champions League red card record holder and close to the top in Real Madrid (I'm not sure top-1 because my favorite Pepe played there  Grin ), but the farm league?
I wonder if Reims will be able to win or at least draw when playing in the majority? Still, this is a generally weak team.
Ramos is holding the World? or European? record for the most red carded player or defender! I forgot exactly his record but I remember something close to 27 red card while the nearest one was 21? He will never change apparently Roll Eyes
PSG was lucky that Marseille lost so they could stay in the first place. Losing points vs Reims isn't good to secure some distance from the others.
Lens, the remaining team with 0 defeat, is 1 goal behind vs Lille.

I know that there are players with more red cards, but if you take the top players, then Ramos is one of the first.
By the way, for the sake of interest, I checked and it turned out that Pepe has only 9 red cards in his entire career. Surprising, especially considering how crazy he is. Here is my favorite episode: Pepe going mad  Grin

It will be interesting if Ramos gets red in the Champions League in the playoffs - it will be a much more important event than in a regular Ligue 1 game, although even here PSG can be said to have lost points because of him.

Relms should be hailed instead because despite winning only one game since the start of the season they were able to defend well against PSG and it didn't end there because Sergio Ramos also got a red card. I was expecting a cleansheet from PSG but they failed to supply enough passes to their strikers and as such it gave them hard time finding the net.

If you look at it again, PSG are just unlucky even though there are many opportunities but PSG players fail to score. and I think giving Sergio Ramos a red card was the referee's decision that cost PSG the most, the referee should have given a yellow card. I saw that Ramos' protest was not excessive, instead he was given a red card. The referee's decision needs to be questioned.

Lorient is one of the teams that are on fire this season they, they added another win today against brest to make it six in a row, which allowed them to take the second position on the table, they are a team to admire because they managed to do it with little resources and average players and a big part of their success is thanks to their striker moffi who scored almost half of his team goals.
Lorient is surely surprise package in this season as they have eight wins from their first 10 games and right now standing at second behind leaders PSG which is amazing job from them as in last season they are at 16th spot with having only eight wins from their 38 games it's one of the most shocking result until in French League if they are able to keep this momentum then surely we can expect some good changes in league table.

Right now few big teams which done good job in last season right now struggling badly specially teams like Lyon and Lille are not giving their best, and we have few teams which have no good record in last few seasons are having good time in early part of this season.

Monaco have made a really huge improvement recently. They won all of their last five games and managed to climb to right behind Lens in the standings. Monaco couldn't do it this much early after starting badly in the previous season. But they seem to have learned their lesson from that. They were impressive against Montpellier as well.

It is a really big example of determination comparing them to Marseille now. Not much time ago the point gap between them was very big. But now Monaco have made it only three points. Monaco actually have a decent squad now. The thing they were lacking was consistency and now they have that also.
Monaco surely doing good job after having poor start of this season specially at home they were not good with their away form was still good and until now they lost no match on their away games right now they are fifth in league table with most chances they will be stayed here for some more time because they have no fair chance of going up with top four all are doing good job now in next round we have a big game leaders are going to host Marseille which is surely an interesting game after PSG ends in draw against Reims and Marseille lost against AC Ajaccio at home which bring them down at third spot and now if they lost against PSG then most chanced they could be dropped to fourth which is not good as they need to do better performance if they want to keep their place second in league table.

The strongest team in Ligue 1 is PSG. And so as common spectators we expect PSG to win every match. But this is not the case. PSG won 8 out of 10 matches and drew 2 matches. I would say their performance is pretty good. PSG won't face much problem if they draw 1/2 matches.

PSG's main goal is to perform well in the Champions League. And they are top of the table in Group H. Apart from the draw with Benfica, they have earned full points against Juventus and Maccabi Haifa. And I believe PSG can win against Benfica in the next match.

No one doubts that PSG are the strongest team in Ligue 1. as for, with a draw against Reims in the last match.

as Galtier had predicted, the results would not be very satisfactory. after all, a draw doesn't really affect PSG's ranking in Ligue 1. as we know, PSG's goal is to do well in the champions league.
In the second leg later, SPG wants full points when playing at home to host Benfica later.

Another formation change also had to be made by Galtier in the middle of this match after Ramos was sent off by the referee 4 minutes before the end of the first half.

Losing a defender still makes their scheme have to be rearranged in this match even though they did control the game but they lost in terms of chances.
Their possession was more than 60 per cent in this match but from the number of chances it was clear that Reims dominated this match as they struggled to pay attention to defense and attack at the same time when they had fewer players.

When looking at his current age I think at first when he was at PSG he would reduce his habit of playing like a fighter but it seems I was wrong and indeed this is like his trademark lol.
But indeed with this result, of course in the second half PSG had a little difficulty even though they still controlled the game but in terms of opportunities they clearly lost to Reims.

I have followed Ramos closely since he moved to PSG, he is no longer that violent player that bullies other players. He is no longer the nightmare of Mohammed Salah  Grin and the Liverpool players. He has calmed down but still good at silly plays with his team mates. But his nature is still in him, no matter how calm he is, he can never be as calm as Messi.

I have checked it up and he has about 27 red cards, it will be 28 inclusive of the recent one. However he is far behind one Bedoya who has 46 red cards to his name Grin

There were goals in all games today. We can say that Monaco has started to recover after a bad first 5 weeks. They've won for 5 weeks. I think they are slowly finding themselves.
Yesterday I mentioned that lens and psg were undefeated. Yesterday psg barely escaped. Today lens lost away to lille. It's really interesting.
This year, like the German league, everyone can beat each other in the French league. I don't think such a performance was expected from either Lens or Lorient. Lorient is doing really well. They are one of the teams that manage to score in every match.
I really didn't expect that Lorient, which has a player valuation far below PSG, is able to have 25 points in Ligue 1 and managed to rank 2 on the standings. I wonder how long Lorient can maintain their good performance, and whether they will surprise by shifting PG's position at the top of the standings!!  in the next week, Lorient will face reims, I'm sure the victory will be owned by Lorient.

For some reason, I am starting to think that this might be the start of the decline of Marseille. I think we knew that this day was coming. I feel like I am actually overthinking this but Marseille just lost against a team that is at the bottom of the table. Obviously, PSG is at the top of the table. They are going to win the league title as well in my opinion.

The match between Lorient and Brest also ended just now. Right now Lorient is in the second position ahead of Marseille. Lorient is ahead by 2 points, and right now it feels like even though PSG is supposed to be the winner of this League, they are going to have some good competition this season at least. But I believe that PSG is not going to be bothered too much about the competition that are currently chasing them.

I don't think so because Marseille's main goal is to have a successful season in the Ligue 1 already. Maybe you will ask "Why did they lose a very easy game then?". I think that the answer is "The players had some fatigue after their Champions League game.". They played here only after three days in the end. Despite demolishing Sporting by 4-1 there they must have still been tired before starting this game.

But of course getting this loss right before their PSG fixture in the league is very bad for Marseille. As that game is in Parc des Princes as well, PSG have a big opportunity to make the gap with them bigger.
Marseille are still in a good position even with that loss, and i agree with you, it could because the players got a little tired and exhausted and mostly because they don't have a lot of good replacement for their best players, so most of the times they are forced to play with almost the same squad in every match, and fatigue can get some of their players.
