For some reason, I am starting to think that this might be the start of the decline of Marseille. I think we knew that this day was coming. I feel like I am actually overthinking this but Marseille just lost against a team that is at the bottom of the table. Obviously, PSG is at the top of the table. They are going to win the league title as well in my opinion.

The match between Lorient and Brest also ended just now. Right now Lorient is in the second position ahead of Marseille. Lorient is ahead by 2 points, and right now it feels like even though PSG is supposed to be the winner of this League, they are going to have some good competition this season at least. But I believe that PSG is not going to be bothered too much about the competition that are currently chasing them.

I don't think so because Marseille's main goal is to have a successful season in the Ligue 1 already. Maybe you will ask "Why did they lose a very easy game then?". I think that the answer is "The players had some fatigue after their Champions League game.". They played here only after three days in the end. Despite demolishing Sporting by 4-1 there they must have still been tired before starting this game.

But of course getting this loss right before their PSG fixture in the league is very bad for Marseille. As that game is in Parc des Princes as well, PSG have a big opportunity to make the gap with them bigger.

It was definitely a worrisome game for PSG but I think they deserve to have a few games like this. You can't wait dominance every single game from teams, even City loses at premier league and still considered the best team.

I feel like there are ties here and there that makes players fired up again for a few more weeks and it is a good thing, because there is no possibility of winning all the games, so instead of a loss, it's better to get a tie so that the players would wake up and they would still have some points anyway. They are going to be champions for sure, missed some players during the game, but that's fine, they will recover soon enough.
Yes, it doesn't matter because after all it is a result that will indeed be obtained, but if it is associated with the best team then PSG should be closer to perfect results to get more wins. At least we can compare with the best teams in different leagues too, like about Bayern Munich and also Manchester City for the previous few seasons when they continued to get full points but they failed to maintain that record towards the end of the season. But for PSG, I still don't get a record like that or a record to come close to perfect for a win when they are already the strongest in Ligue 1.

The strongest team in Ligue 1 is PSG. And so as common spectators we expect PSG to win every match. But this is not the case. PSG won 8 out of 10 matches and drew 2 matches. I would say their performance is pretty good. PSG won't face much problem if they draw 1/2 matches.

PSG's main goal is to perform well in the Champions League. And they are top of the table in Group H. Apart from the draw with Benfica, they have earned full points against Juventus and Maccabi Haifa. And I believe PSG can win against Benfica in the next match.

Grin Ramos received his next red card, this time for talking to the referee (apparently he insulted him). What a man!
If I remember correctly, he is the Champions League red card record holder and close to the top in Real Madrid (I'm not sure top-1 because my favorite Pepe played there  Grin ), but the farm league?
I wonder if Reims will be able to win or at least draw when playing in the majority? Still, this is a generally weak team.
Ramos is holding the World? or European? record for the most red carded player or defender! I forgot exactly his record but I remember something close to 27 red card while the nearest one was 21? He will never change apparently Roll Eyes
Actually, there are some other players who got red cards so far, more than Ramos.
But, we know that Ramos is one of the most popular and professional players who got those many red cards, now, the amount is 28 red cards.
he is definitely included in the top player with red cards in the world  Cheesy
However after reading this article
https://www.givemesport.com/88069036-ramos-davids-zlatan-totti-the-xi-with-the-most-red-cards-in-football-history

But, is it really just a draw against Reims in the absence of Ramos and with 10 men at PSG? Where Reims is not a big club, the game is not very good either. Or is PSG really underperforming, especially with only 10 players? But, why can't they score goals even before Ramos gets a red card huh?

I didn't understand why Brest were favorites against Lorient even though both teams situation says otherwise, Lorient are 2nd right now and Brest are in last position, that is a very big difference between the two, also the goal difference is another factor to make Lorient at least slightly favorites in that match, but Brest were the favorites with odds of 2.25, and they lost, a draw is the best they could've gotten I my opinion.
It's a bit funny to have to favorite Brest who has only won once so far after ten matches in Ligue 1. I can't even imagine anything better for Brest and after seeing the match with Lorient, you should also be able to conclude that Lorient are still good enough strong despite playing at home to Brest which so far has not had a good performance so they continue to lose matches.

There were goals in all games today. We can say that Monaco has started to recover after a bad first 5 weeks. They've won for 5 weeks. I think they are slowly finding themselves.
Yesterday I mentioned that lens and psg were undefeated. Yesterday psg barely escaped. Today lens lost away to lille. It's really interesting.
This year, like the German league, everyone can beat each other in the French league. I don't think such a performance was expected from either Lens or Lorient. Lorient is doing really well. They are one of the teams that manage to score in every match.
Safe to say that monaco back on their winning track after a slow start ... monaco successfully collecting 20 points out of 30 points that potentially could have earned. Sitting 5th with 6 points separated from the league leader psg and 3 points behind the third marseille.

The title race there at ligue 1 never be this close.

Monaco did start this season poorly, but slowly Monaco found its best form and now Monaco are on a 5-game winning streak. I'm sure Monaco can
compete with some of the teams above it, because Monaco does have a pretty good squad and it is proven by Monaco that the previous season
they could be in 3rd position. I hope at least Monaco this season can be in 2nd position, so next season can play in the Champions League.
But it's not easy, because this season a lot of surprises happened, like Lorient who played really well and could be in 2nd position. This means that
this season, Ligue 1 has become a little more competitive than the previous season. because the top 5 teams have close points difference,
so it's a little hard to predict what will happen in the future.

Monaco have made a really huge improvement recently. They won all of their last five games and managed to climb to right behind Lens in the standings. Monaco couldn't do it this much early after starting badly in the previous season. But they seem to have learned their lesson from that. They were impressive against Montpellier as well.

It is a really big example of determination comparing them to Marseille now. Not much time ago the point gap between them was very big. But now Monaco have made it only three points. Monaco actually have a decent squad now. The thing they were lacking was consistency and now they have that also.

Monaco is obviously playing really well at the moment. It has been five matches since they have lost a match, and they have not lost one in that time period. I think that this is impressive when we consider that they didn't have a very good start to the season in terms of results.

Currently, I think that there is a good chance that they will be able to get to the top three positions within a short period of time. I am sure that after finishing third in the last season, Monaco had to face some problems when they did not start this season well. Additionally, they had to deal with a lot of criticism as well. In spite of that, they are in great shape right now. As a result, it would be really nice to see them continue to do a great job in the future. There is not much of a difference between them and Marseille in terms of points. So, I believe that they have a good chance of getting ahead in the top three very soon.

Lorient is one of the teams that are on fire this season they, they added another win today against brest to make it six in a row, which allowed them to take the second position on the table, they are a team to admire because they managed to do it with little resources and average players and a big part of their success is thanks to their striker moffi who scored almost half of his team goals.

PSG was lucky that Marseille lost so they could stay in the first place. Losing points vs Reims isn't good to secure some distance from the others.
Lens, the remaining team with 0 defeat, is 1 goal behind vs Lille.
When looking at his current age I think at first when he was at PSG he would reduce his habit of playing like a fighter but it seems I was wrong and indeed this is like his trademark lol.
But indeed with this result, of course in the second half PSG had a little difficulty even though they still controlled the game but in terms of opportunities they clearly lost to Reims.

Marseille and psg are likely to win their games today marseille team will play at home against the last team on the standings with only one win and one draw so far and the leaders psg against reims a better team than ajaccio but still psg will be much for them to handle i expect both marseille and psg to win easily.
a very bad day for people who bet in favor of Marseille and PSG as both failed to win even though they are the best in ligue 1 so far, Marseille even lost in their home stadium which was more surprising, but it was not enough for the day, PSG also failed to win, the match between Marseillle and PSG will show who's the real leader of ligue 1
to be honest, I think in that match it was a big luck for Reims (against PSG) and ajaccio (against Marseille). many predict that this PSG 'draw' happened because they played with 10 players. besides that, in the match, Messi didn't play that's why PSG's attack line was not so sharp even though there were mbappe and neymar there. So far, PSG has drawn 2 and lost 0.

PSG still managed to open the gap with Marseille a little more despite losing two points against Reims. Ramos' unnecessary red card made things harder for the team. They still found many goal chances after the incident as well. But it still ended 0-0. Neymar entered the game not much time after the second half started. But this wasn't enough for a win anyway.

Marseille had a big chance to equalize the points but surprisingly they lost to Ajaccio home. It was like their opponent was one of the worst teams in the league. I really don't get how they managed to lose a game like this after a 9-game unbeaten series.
Next match opportunity for PSG manage open gap points with Marseille behind have 3 points left until 10 games, but on position standing awhile PSG have another competitor is Lorient with 1 points left and have chance to become top standing at Ligue 1 if PSG failed win from Marseille. Can't predicting with Lorient in this season become competitor for Ligue 1 tittle because great achievement 8 won of 10 games make Lorient lock 2nd position standing and make Marseille have down to 3rd place.

Lorient have schedule match against with PSG on November 6th and seems have chance if win all games in this months keep close position and gap point with PSG.

Marseille should have been able to win this match but even lost it by 2-1.

Balerdi's own goal was really unlucky Marseille found two important goal chances while we were getting close to the end but they wasted them both. Bamba Dieng wasted an unbelievable chance. If he was able to become a little more patient then they could have at least scored the equalizer in the last moments of stoppage time. They should consider themselves lucky because PSG also lost points this week. The red card was effective in that point loss. However Marseille have lost their place to Lorient already. But I don't think only this loss would affect them very badly about their form.

I am honestly not happy with the performance of Marseille in last night's match. An opportunity like that is not what a club that want to battle PSG will miss. PSG drew their match and it was a clear opportunity for Marseille to overtake PSG but they failed, they didn't even fail for draw but they fail and lost the match totally. If this kind of opportunities cannot be grabbed by these competitive clubs there is no guarantee that they can in any form beat PSG, for them to compete for the title is to be smart when PSG didn't win their match.

Barcelona's financial condition is not good, and until now they still have debts for the salaries of their players I think. But about Messi, why do you think it's a crazy maneuver from Barcelona if Messi can come back on a free transfer?

But Messi doesn't want to talk about and decide on his future now, he will talk about it at the end of the season about his future. But he has stated that this year's world cup will be his last as a player. I would definitely be very happy if Messi decided to return to Barcelona, he would be welcomed by the fans.

After completing the contract at PSG, Messi has a choice: go to MLS and earn there for the season, let's say 100 million (this is a purely hypothetical figure, but I think it is close to the truth) or return to Barcelona and earn less than 20 million there (salary ceiling). Which option do you think he will choose? And in general, which option is more realistic, given that Barcelona still owes him wages?

Marseille missed the chance. PSG drew and lost two points. But Mareille lost 3 points against Ajaccio, the weakest team in Ligue 1. A win against Ajaccio would have put them level on the points table with PSG. However, Marseille may be performing well this season. Their performance is truly commendable. But Marseille don't seem to be able to challenge PSG for the title. He will soon be behind further.
Honestly, I was surprised by Reims' game in this match, maybe it can't be separated from the red card received by Sergio Ramso in the first half. Yes, playing with 10 people makes Paris Saint Germain difficult in this match. Even though they managed to control the game, the lack of 1 player made it easier for Reims to cover every movement made by Paris Saint Germain players. As a result, they had to be willing to lose 3 points in that match, not only that, in terms of opportunities, Reims could be much better than what Paris Saint Germain got.

For some reason, I am starting to think that this might be the start of the decline of Marseille. I think we knew that this day was coming.
