Is that because of the injury or anything else? That is the question. If it is about the injury then I would guess that it's not going to be hard for them to get better and be in the top 4 for good, a solid season. However, if it is not about the injuries and something else, a managerial problem or something then they will be still worse and that's going to create even more trouble for them.

At the end of the day. it's not going to be a big problem, it's going to be just a bad season at worst for them, and bad seasons do happen. Just try better and be better next season. Nobody expected them to be winner or anything anyway, so one bad season shouldn't be an issue.

Injuries can actually be a problem for PSG. I mean especially the injuries affecting their attacking line directly. PSG are a team that depend on their very strong attacking trio of Messi, Neymar and Mbappe. Even when one of these three players is injured they are in a really big trouble. By trouble I mean the Champions League of course. Because when it comes to the Ligue 1, I don't think PSG would have big difficulties even in a situation that they play with only one of this trio. Especially if that one is Mbappe. Grin

PSG need to preserve their players very well until their Bayern Munich matchup. They already have the upper hand on Bayern Munich I think. Because Neuer is not able to play during the rest of the season. Mane's condition is doubtful for the first leg also. If PSG keep their crucial players healthy they might start 1-0 ahead already.

The most vulnerable is Messi, if he and his Argentina make it to the final round. if not injured, the effects of fatigue can greatly affect him to face his matches with PSG after all leagues are rolled out again. because after all, this world cup tournament will really drain the energy and mentality of the players who take part in this championship. for Neymar, I'm not sure that he has fully recovered. but he has enough rest time, before returning to play with PSG.

It would make sense to lose a few players, hell even if the big trio didn't play, the rest of the squad would be good enough to fight for a title, they won without Messi many times before, so that is for sure, and Neymar was constantly injured, so Mbappe alone with others can win we have seen that, and I feel like there is a chance they could do that again and without Mbappe too because they have a great roster now.

However, UCL requires all of them healthy, they need to be all 100% healthy, including the big three and everyone else, they need all players to not just be healthy but also play the best football they could possibly play to win UCL, it is a very tough competition.
