In the match between PSG and nice I also had High Hopes on Psg but I cannot say that they disappointed me. They were able to win and they also played over 2.5 goals so there is no disappointmen. We don't expect PSG to win with very high go margin every match. Remember last season nice got a very tough fight so they are no longer a small club. The most important thing is for there to be a win and nothing else

PSG did the expected and won the match. However it wasn't a too comfortable win for them truthfully. Mbappe's absence was felt until he entered the match and he was the game changer as he scored the goal to win. If Neymar was able to play better there wouldn't be even a need for Mbappe. By the way Messi's free-kick goal was really a usual one for us to see from him.

It was nice to see advertising boards turning to "GOAT" after Messi touched the ball. Cheesy

PSG have a more difficult job to do these days because they are in a competition for the lead with Marseille on one hand. They need to concentrate on the Ligue 1 and Champions League at an equal level to maintain a decent form. I believe that they will still manage to do this successfully.

Currently PSG are strong at number one in Ligue 1 and have not lost in nine games. Currently only Marseille have tailed PSG with 2 draws and have not lost. Two points difference. They will go far in the champions league this season, i do not doubt that, even for some years now they have been coming closer, they lost a final some seasons ago, so even if it is slow, they are making some form of progress, i think they will make it to the final of the champions league this season, i just have this feeling, i don't know if they will win it, but their players are showing signs of togetherness, and this connection may take them as far as the final. Nice is proving to be a difficult opponent for PSG, however they are atop the Ligue 1 points table. The only league where they are good is the French league. In comparison to other big clubs, we still struggle. It is possible that they would not do as well in a competitive league. A Champions League title is evidence of this. Everyone is predicting that they won't make the UCL this season, but perhaps this time they will prove us wrong.

Previously my estimation in this match, PSG can win the match with a score of 3-1. however, when I saw the line-up of the two teams, my estimation changed.
SPG will not be easy to score many goals in this match. the article, Galtier changed strategy and made Hugo Ekitike the main starter to replace Mbappe's position.
Galtier uses a 3-4-2-1 formation, as a result PSG have trouble scoring goals.
As for Nice, they tend to play defensively and occasionally attack if they get the chance. meaning, with the 5-4-1 formation used by Nice in that match, making SPG have to struggle to get a chance.
and luckily, with Mbappe coming in in the second half, he was able to take the opportunity and make it a win for PSG.

I failed to watch but heard the free kick was beautiful taken by Messi and the goal keeper was left surprised
They did all they could do to go back to the top position.
With Kylian Mbappe putting them ahead after Messi's free kick got canceled by Nice.
Good win they be preparing well for the champions league game.

Nice isn't in its best shape. Their defeats are equal to their victories and draws. Yet, they maintained a draw vs PSG for long until Mbappe goal in the last 10 minutes of the game.
PSG and Marseille stayed without defeat for 9 rounds and the last team which has 0 defeat is Lens and will play home vs Lyon today. Odds are in favour of Lens according to bookies.

PSG quality is much better than Nice, so it's not surprising that many predictions prioritized PSG victory in that the match, but in terms of the game, Nice made it difficult for PSG to win the match even though they continued to dominate throughout the match, but PSG had difficulty scoring goals after Messi Free Kick goal happen, when the match was drawn 1-1 it seemed that the PSG squad had difficulty breaking into the Nice defense even though they continued to shoot, but fortunately Mbappe who came on as a substitute in the 59th minute was able to become a hero by scoring the winning goal for PSG in that match.

I don't feel it was because they didn't want to consume their energy, that was a very important game for them too and i feel their performance was the way it was because some of their players were tired after playing for their countrries last week, and they also had a short time to prepare as a group for this match, but it didn't cost them, as a win is a win, and the most important thing is the three points which they got. People always expect psg to win 4-0, 5-0, etc, but they forget that in football no matter how strong you are, you can't win big all the time.
