It seem the management of Paris Saint-Germain F.C. are impatient and desperately want to lift the Champions League. Mauricio Pochettino is not a bad coach in fact his performance was outstanding but the club is not patient to stick to the Argentine. That was how they sacked Thomas Tuchel and he went to Chelsea and won the Champions league. Christophe Galtier is not a bad coach considering his teams performance last season. The 55-year-old took Nice to fifth place and they played quality football. But I don't think Galtier is a better coach than Pochettino. PSG would just keep gambling until they find a coach that would deliver the Champions League. I would not also be surprise if Pochettino wins the Champions league in his future club.

I don't have respect for PSG management anymore. They could have done a lot of things and instead, they went for the dirty way. They have tried to win the Champions League for so long and they are unable to do that even though they have the best squad in the world. They obviously have the best attack in the world and they basically couldn't do anything with it. I would really like to see them winning the Champions League, to be honest, but somehow I really know that it is not going to happen.
Mauricio Pochettino can succeed in winning this champions league with PSG next season as compared to Christophe Galtier. Desperation is a big distraction and this is the line the PSG management has chosen to trade on. There are lots of compromise in the squad already taking Mbappe's privileges for example. I don't see PSG win the Champions league anytime soon in the future not because the lack the team no but because the lack the co-ordination to win.

Well to be fair, it was a serious challenge in the first place for a guy like Poch. Brilliant tactically and showed what he could do with a limited squad (Spurs), to take them into Champions League final, to take them into top 4 repeatedly, with the spending and talent he had was criminal. And he thought maybe he could turn things around at PSG. But he never dealt with those kinds of stars man. Kane and Son, sure, even Bale before, but those were one or two stars and I would say not half as "glitzy" as the ones PSG has.

It's not so much about the farming it's about winning UCL but when there's a lot of non-football factors (wives girlfriends family delegations etc) it becomes less about how good you are as a coach but how you are as a true manager of life affairs lol

Well, I think with PSG it is about farming. It's about PSG farming titles from League One every season. They have one job to do every season and that is to win the Champions League trophy. And they are not being able to do one simple thing. I think a lot of people like me are honestly disappointed with them. And it is not like they are the strong team only there only. They have a really good squad in the whole club football. And somehow they are still able to lose in the league competition against really weaker opponents.

Basically they still need a little more time, if we only consider the star players then Real Madrid also has a lot of star players. But because Real Madrid have had a lot of success for a long time, compared to PSG they are just getting started. It's different if we consider players obtained from their respective academies then of course PSG does not have these criteria, but if we only consider star players then I think PSG will be able to have success in the Champions League in the future.
I really don't like how PSG is going about their work because I think instead of trying to do everything to keep one player they could have let him go and gotten other players who are actually really suitable for the team. And I don't think the change of authority is going to have too big of an effect.

You are not alone who is thinking in this way, there are too many who feeling they are trying with dirty ways which are not going to help them because they can't win this off the field they have to done things on the field which are more important and relevant. I was feeling happy when I read Zidane is coming but as he rejected because of their contract with Mbappé as they are treating him specially, so now I am feeling they need to be more professional rather than dirty mind for this title which is not going to help them anyway.

Many wants to see them as winner of Champions League, but they need some better planning and better management for this instead of just spending millions of USD and having things without any better understanding.

I still disagree with this decision, there is absolutely no reason to get Galtier, he is not better than Galtier and makes absolutely no sense at all. I feel like the best thing that could be done right now would be to hiring someone who is a world famous manager that has managed to win that cup before.

I know it makes no sense but at the end of the day Pep is there and I know it's funny but he failed to get it with City and there could be a reason and thing where they can come to an agreement. This way they could both get it together and it would make a sense for both of them to work hard because they would have an equal understanding of what they really want.

It seems that what we have hoped for so far will not come true, many of us hope that PSG will make zidane a coach to face next season but it seems that zidane prefers to remain unemployed and wait for the call to be coach from the french national team rather than join PSG this season, conjecture of who the PSG coach seems to be is starting to emerge and Galtier is one of the strong candidates to replace Pochettino who reportedly has agreed to end his partnership with PSG, but the question now is: whether Galtier is indeed worthy to coach a team as big as PSG?
All clubs have their back plan as well things was settled for Zidane but after reading contract between PSG and Mbappé he drops this idea and now waiting for his next job as France's national team manager because he is very stick about discipline and PSG is not following things about Mbappé which was not good enough for him, so he rejects this.

And now Christophe Galtier is going to have this new job as he is also very talented person, even this is big challenge for him because in presence of too many star players managing team like PSG is never been easy
Now recently we have another rumor that Juventus is interested in Neymar if this happens then surely it's going to be good for PSG and new manager they can offload a player who is mostly injured and have not good role in this team after having good deal with Mbappé and Messi is also available for another season.

Maybe it's the coach, so it's very good that Zidane still hasn't agreed (and hopefully won't agree) to be their coach.
I don't know, for some reason Zidane refused PSG's offer to ask for his hand as a coach. But it would surprise me if Zidane actually turned down the offer. I want him to accept the offer and fight together for the best, but maybe Zidane has other reasons why now he doesn't want to sign a contract.

As for Neymar, PSG are trying to get rid of him - they write that they want to sell him to Juventus and even agree to add some part to Neymar's salary in Juventus  Grin But Neymar does not want to leave PSG, which is a big problem in terms of freeing up the budget for salaries.
In the past few days haven't read any news about it, so maybe it's just a rumor going around. But if Neymar really wants to do it, then Juventus isn't a bad team for his future either.

PSG's only problem this season will be staying awake waiting for the really important games (Champions League)  Grin Maybe Mbappe will try to make his stats look nice or Messi will try to restore his reputation as a goalscorer, but in general I'm sure PSG will suffer from a lack of motivation and strong opponents. Perhaps this will affect their performance in the Champions League.
PSG really need a great coach to achieve success in the Champions League because so far they have been supported by a number of top players such as Neymar, Messi and Mbappe. They have to start doing that and try to get out of their comfort zone as the dominant title winners in Ligue 1 over the last few seasons. So if Zidane wants to deal with them later, I'm sure PSG will have a good chance in the Champions League next season.

So far we know how PSG's ambitions for the Champions League are, but they are still weak enough against great opponents that they are still quite difficult to win the title. I believe that the Champions League title for a team like PSG at this time is not impossible, it's just a matter of timing and a good team performance in the right hands.

Christophe Galtier will most likely be the new coach of paris saint germain. according to french media reports, an agreement between the ligue 1 champions and C. Galtier's current club ogc nice is imminent. according to "l'equipe," psg will pay Nice a transfer fee of around €10 million.
however, the deal will not be announced until the current coach Mauricio Pochettino has been sacked. negotiations are still underway with M. Pochettino about the severance pay.

Real Madrid did not get Mbappe because of many supports for French President, Paris Mayor and together with official deal from PSG, he decided to stay in PSG.

This decison is made by sports, finance and politics too. Mbappe case is very special and unique. When a national President and City mayor had to involve to convince him to stay. Without politics, Mbappe would leave PSG and join Real Madrid. Anyway, he made decision and he will have 3 more seasons in PSG. Let's see what he will contribute for PSG and what he will achieve in next seasons.

That kind of team does not matter which manager you have, their entire squad is a big circus with each star player having their own delegation of family/wives/kids. Not at all something people like Tuchel or Pochettino could easily handle. Half their time at least is to manage these egos and stars, look what it turned Gini Wijnaldum into, a hot dribbler penetrative powerful guy turned into a clown. Even Messi, he needs to get back home and not stay stuck in that crazy league with one team too good for everyone else.

I have exactly the same opinion because there is no point for any player who has the potential of doing something great to stay in this Farmers League because PSG is just doing basically nothing and farming the league one title. The players that are playing in PSG are better than that. But the money is so overwhelming from PSG that it is really hard to say no to it. This club cannot be the future for any player who aspires to be great one day. And the true nature of this club gets revealed when it plays in the Champions League.

PSG are going to be the biggest favourite for the league championship once again of course. Because I don't see any other team that are as powerful as PSG now. PSG have a way better squad than all of the remaining teams in the league of course and this makes things too difficult for the others. Therefore I think that PSG are going to win the league championship again but maybe there could be a slight chance for us to see a good competition between them and a team. I hope that happens.  Cheesy
PSG currently have the best squad in Ligue 1, Which I don't think any team in the League will be capable enough to withstand. Surely, they are probably the most favorite for the Ligue 1 title next season. Although, we are all expecting another club to compete with them for the trophy in order for us to witness an interesting season. However, I don't think the Ligue 1 title is PSG major aim.  They basically want to win the Champions League trophy, therefore they will focus more on their Champions League matches next season.

Recently, there haven't been positive news about Zinedine Zidane to become PSG's new manager. Some rumours show that Zidane is thinking of waiting for the World Cup to finish to become the manager of France national team. He isn't thinking of accepting PSG's offer at the same time. If he really wants to manage a national team, then I can understand his decision about PSG. It would be too difficult to manage two teams at the same time for him. This isn't Football Manager in the end.  Cheesy

I'm saying Mauricio Pochettino was sacked. I think they're trying a new coach to win in the UCL next season. But does it work? i'm not sure at the moment. Although they have a lot of star players at this time, there is still something missing in the team. Messi's arrival doesn't seem to be enough to make PSG stronger in Europe. Although Neymar and Mbaape are there I'm not sure if they can make it to the finals next season. But all still have a chance, maybe if they get Zidane as the new coach they will have more of an experienced coach playing in europe.

Zidane is someone who will be able to impose authority over the players and the players will have to listen to him. I think that is the only chance with which PSG might be able to do better. Trust me they will not have any problems winning the league one title.

But I don't think they will be able to win the Champions League title which is the main target of PSG right now. The reason why Zidane is not going to work with PSG right now is that he does not want to jeopardize his reputation. PSG did not work with one of the best squads last year and there is no certainty that they are going to work under the new authority of Zidane.

PSG really need a new coach before the start of the new season because Pochettino can't lead the team to Champions League Glory. The Parisians needs to Lift the UEFEA in the coming season rather than the Ligue 1 title which they are always crowned every season. PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi will releived Pochettino of his duties and aimed for his top priority which is Nice Boss, Galtier. PSG is a big team and are extremely good with high class professional players.
Galtier is quite a competent coach, before coaching NICE, he already managed to make Lille get the Ligue 1 title, even last season NICE managed to finish in the top 3 and this is a pretty good achievement

PSG's squad is already very good, it's only a matter of how they meet a great coach who can make PSG an extraordinary team because the UCL trophy has been PSG's target for a long time
Even though the PSG squad is already very good, Yes role of the coach will always have an impact on the team, whether coach's achievements be able to bring this team to get trophy at UCL is not a certain, because maybe there will always be internal problems on the side of players and also coach. After all Zidane is the most suitable candidate for PSG, but I also have no doubts about Galtier.

We can't doubt Galtier capacity as a coach who is quite ambitious and has a lot of experience in ligue 1, his success in bringing Lille to win league 1 among PSG domination so far certainly makes him worthy of appreciation as a great coach, to coaching a team like lille and nice who have always been being a competitor in ligue 1, of course I have no doubts about his eligibility, but to train a team as big as PSG?
I don't think he is worthy for now because PSG current target is bigger than from the target of the team he ever coached, PSG no longer makes the Super Cup France and Ligue 1 as their main targets, but PSG are now eyeing their first Champions League trophy and obviously it's not an easy job for a coach who doesn't have a lot of experience in European competitions, not wanting to underestimate Galtier but for European competitions in my opinion his experience may not be better than pochettino.
