Of course with the current financial problems that Barcelona is facing, PSG has a better advantage to buy any good player that Barcelona wants to buy because PSG is rich and Barcelona is broke. I don't think Nicole Williams us ready to leave Bilbao next season because he still wants to play in Bilbao for the last time next season.
Comparing PSG to Barcelona in financial terms, it's very illogical. I admit that a team needs a lot of money to get qualified players and create a squad with a strong performance. But the fact is that despite the fact that PSG is rich with a few star players last season, it has not been able to earn prestigious titles and only become the strongest team in the league 1, whereas Barcelona without a star player and with the condition of a simple player was able to win La Liga titles in the last few seasons. Even when competing at UCL, PSG was able to be defeated by Barcelona in the first leg.
Filling up PSG squad with Portuguese can be favorable to PSG and at the same time might not be favorable because a club needs players that can balance the club performance to keep it consistent. These Portuguese can win Ligue 1 but do they have what it takes for them to go far in UCL because winning their domestic league is not new but UCL is what PSG needs.
Professional players who join PSG, financially, will earn a big salary as well as gain experience to earn domestic titles. Unfortunately, a player not only needs that, but also needs career experience in prestigious competitions like the UCL. So even though PSG has professional players or star players, it's all just the usual thing we see.
While getting a UCL degree not only requires the number of professional players but the experience of the coach is also very influential to be able to get the right strategy and to get a UCL trophy.
