I always say that though, relying on one player is never the right thing to do for any team. No matter how rich your team is, you need to care about the whole team rather than only specific individuals.

I think it is not boring if there is another rivalry going at the same time, the problem is that nobody really fights for second place that much neither, that's the issue. If we had PSG be first all the time, and then other teams have some good matches that worth watching and had some stories and some narrative, then maybe it would make sense.

However, even Lille, who won that one title, do not look that great in most years, not like they were second many times after that, it's really becoming boring not just because of PSG, but others not being that great neither. Marseille and Monaco seems like they are doing something to change that, and that could make the league more fun, and could get it entertaining.

If you want proof, just look at UCL and what outside of PSG does, no other team from France does anything at UCL, they are just like some smaller nation low budget team, they are not good at all. This is why I think it's quite important to see that France doesn't have any other good team, and that's why they keep getting bad results. The moment we start to see other teams do well at UCL as well, then we will know that France has some good teams, but right now PSG is the only good team there.

Probably one of the reasons why the French Ligue1 seems to be less valuable despite the fact that many people consider the league to be one of Europe's elite football leagues. But over the years the league has been dominated by a particular club which has seemingly reduced the pedigree of the league because there seem to be no viable contenders who can dethrone PSG from the top. PSG has been dominating the domestic league since the Qatari owners acquired the club and began to bring in world class player into the club and several world class coaches who have turned the club's fortune around for good except winning the champions league. At the moment I do not see any other club than can withstand PSG at the moment but it still doesn't mean they would be unbeaten this season.

PSG's achievement last season was reaching the semi-finals of the Champions League, rest assured this season nothing like that is happening.

Luis Enrique have all the needed quality players to achieve everything he wants to achieve this season and I'll be very happy to see his PSG side do the unthinkable this season.

It's not new that PSG want to win Champions League as they invested so much money through past years and only had one Champions League with a defeat under Bayern Munich. They want to have other Champions League final matches and want to win it for a first time, to make a milestone for their club, then will continue with more titles.

Ligue 1 is a domestic league where they have to play to get a ticket to Champions League, and they will have to continue fighting there, but winning titles in Ligue 1 is no longer interesting with PSG. They are still very strong in France and can continue their domination in Ligue 1 but by lack of focus on the league, other French clubs can have opportunity to take over the title from PSG, if they are strong enough to take advantage of PSG carelessness. The environment of League 1 is different from the environment of other major leagues and that may be one of the factors that PSG cannot play competitively in the Champions League, not because of the coach because so far PSG has always recruited famous coaches in Europe but still these coaches cannot make the PSG club perform well in the Champions League, they are only strong in their own league. In my opinion, the player, coach and environment factors have a big influence on the team.
