PSG, with Enrique joining the team, is spending little money, they are changing their attitude to transfers, now they are not trying to buy everyone who has ever won the Champions League, but are giving Enrique and the players a chance to become a more cohesive team, who knows, maybe this will finally work for PSG. PSG is also in no hurry to buy a new forward, they have still chosen a new forward who could take Mbappe's place.

And it is almost certain that Osimhen will not move to PSG, since Enrique spoke out against such a transfer, because he believes that Osimhen will not fit into the PSG model, so this issue can also be put to rest.

I see that PSG also bought 22 year old forward William Pacho from Eintracht, his stats for last season were not very impressive, in 44 matches he did not score a single goal and gave only two assists, a very strange choice, but perhaps Enrique understands why he needs this player. By the way, he played 16 matches for the Ecuadorian national team and scored two goals.
After arrival of Luis Enrique we are having few changes into PSG which are positive because now they are having change of mindset with as things were going into past they are not doing things like these as just buying big names with huge funds and having not desired results we can say this is positive change because now we are also having good depth from the coach as he is trying to have players on merit and performance this is going to be helpful for them.

There were few rumours about big names, but now all dropped from their radar because they are going for completely new strategy hopefully things will be work for them, and we will be having better results and success in all leagues for them. Now recently they are having two youngsters these are going to be good for them because both are young and had good potential and if things gone as expected most chances we will have good future of these players with good success.

PSG should have been prepared that a day will come when Mbappe will no longer be with them. Not many players like the idea of playing in one league or club all their career. Stuffs like that was more common in the 80s and 90s but not much happening in modern football. They have the opportunity to start afresh and see what their squad performance will be without Mbappe. PSG is a big club in Europe and their are many talents that are willing to play for them. There are so many talents out there that can play more than Mbappe that are yet to be discovered. The loss of Mbappe shouldn't be their downfall, Mbappe gave his all for PSG and it will be selfish for them if  don't want him to pursue his own personal dreams.
I mean they already knew that he will not sign back, it was already known and yet they still ended up not getting ready for it. Mbappe already signed with Real verbally all the way back in January or February if I am not mistaken and everyone knew it. Or maybe they are ready for playing without him this way? Maybe they are quite happy with what they have?

We don't really know much about the situation, so we should not be really that shocked, we could consider this as normal as well. Not like they got nobody, they still got some players and I believe that they are going to be fine.

Joao Neves alone is a good player, and with this current squad they should be good enough, we just need to wait and see how the results will be. If they end up having a terrible season then we can say that they didn't get ready for a life without Mbappe, but if the results are good and I mean like just win the league is enough, then yeah they got ready enough to play without him. Don't expect them to get UCL suddenly after Mbappe leaves, maybe they will only win the league but that's all they did with Mbappe as well anyway, and I think they should be capable of doing the same thing this season as well.

Maybe it will be a little different PSG will learn from their previous mistake where their mistake was setting Mbappe's price too high so that no club dared to recruit this player even though at that time Real Madrid wanted him to replace Karim Benzema if PSG accepted Real Madrid's offer maybe at that time PSG would not have suffered a loss like now where they did not get a penny from the departure of this star player and Real Madrid also benefited greatly from getting the player they were after without having to dig deep into their pockets, and for Nico Williams if he is willing to come here I think PSG will not be careless anymore if his contract is almost up and the player does not want to extend his contract they will set the price according to his quality without seeking excessive profit.
That was a mistake that was quite painful for PSG in the past so PSG must be able to really learn from it when they want to make any decision in terms of buying players and also in releasing players targeted by other teams. Nico Williams is a very suitable player to be targeted by PSG at this time with a fairly reasonable price considering that Nico Williams is a young player and could be able to replace players who have left PSG at the end of last season. In addition, PSG who are trying hard to be able to perform optimally in the UCL competition next season must also get new techniques from their own coach so that PSG is not only a candidate for the Ligue 1 champion, but can also go further in the UCL competition later.
Actually, PSG's goal in pricing Mbappe so expensively is because they don't want to lose the player because Mbappe is a valuable asset for PSG, he is the player who contributes the most to the club, without Mbappe, PSG is likely not as strong in League 1. But the club must also realize that they should not be selfish, Mbappe also wants to experience other experiences with other top clubs, as a result the player does not want to extend his contract and finally he leaves as a free agent. Likewise, if Nico Williams is at PSG, they must understand this player so that the player is more comfortable at the club, PSG must immediately make an agreement with this player if they really want him or immediately complete negotiations with Oshimen, they must move quickly to find a replacement for Mbappe before the season starts soon.

Mbappé really did a lot for Paris Saint-Germain. There is no denying that. He was a great player for Paris and left a big mark. Although he went to Real Madrid, he spent most of his life in Paris Saint-Germain. Paris Saint-Germain is probably looking for the player to follow him right now. There are many young and quality players in the French League, they will definitely find the player after him.

If PSG can sign Nico Williams to their club then I believe PSG will benefit financially from this player in the future. Nico Williams is a talented player and he has enough pace as well as good finishing so if he can be trained well at a good club he can fulfill his duties better. Whenever this player's speed and attack increase, other clubs will want to buy him from PSG with a big financial offer, but PSG will benefit financially. If this player wants to come to PSG then I think PSG should not miss this opportunity and sign this player as soon as possible. If PSG don't want to buy Nico Williams, there are a lot of better quality clubs where offers will surely come for the player.
Are you sure about what you said? In theory it should be like that, but have you forgotten when Paris Saint Germain had Mbappe and lost him? How much money did they make from Mbappe's departure?
The same thing might happen to them if they managed to get Nico Williams, they would as usual delay the transfer until their player is a free transfer. The president of Paris Saint Germain did say he didn't feel a loss from Mbappe's departure, but we as someone who sees this will definitely say the same thing. Because they could have earned a lot of money if they hadn't forced themselves to keep this player last season.
Honestly, I personally feel skeptical about what Paris Saint Germain often does in terms of spending money on a player.
Mbappe is a French star and one of France's most important stars, Mbappe is the reason why he was released, but if there was another player in his place, the club would never have released him for free. We know that the market value of a player like Mbappe is high and the club did not get any money for his transfer, it is definitely a big loss for the club but PSG will not sit on this. I talked about Nico Williams, if this player can be like Mbappe and later if he wants to leave the club but without his club then he has to leave PSG with a certain amount of transfer fee. We may be thinking too much because PSG have been rumored to be signing Nico William but there is no guarantee that the deal will be completed. But our little knowledge seems to be good for PSG if PSG sign this player.
The losses suffered by PSG were caused by the selfishness of the club president who did not give Mbappe the opportunity to join another club, whereas if the PSG president was not selfish, he would certainly not have suffered a major loss.
PSG should not have done something like this which caused a major loss just to follow the president's wishes to hold back his professional players and fear losing the club's performance.
Meanwhile, professional players need experience and careers with other clubs that should be given freedom.

Nico Williams might also end up the same as Mbappe when his talent continues to develop but the club management wants to continue to retain the player and create drama that ends in a major loss when the player has free agent status.
Mbappe didn't sell to another club for the sole purpose of keeping this great player permanently at their club. You must be surprised or surprised to know how much money PSG spent annually to retain this player. In the last few seasons, when it was not possible to keep Mbappe at PSG even in exchange for money, much of the power of the club was handed over to him. Mbappe's salary was increased on the condition that he stayed at the club, and PSG gave him the power to sign any player he wanted to the club or change a manager if he wanted to.

Despite offering so much money and so much power, they couldn't keep the French star in the club in the end and the star joined Real Madrid as a free agent. Mbappe did not make any compromises in terms of money and he made Real Madrid wait for several seasons waiting for him to leave the club only as a free agent, although in the end Mbappe's contract with Real Madrid was completed.

Many clubs have been aware of Mbappe's transfer and his absence from the club and are convinced that no player should ever be taken so seriously.

I think Mbappé was very comfortable at Paris Saint-Germain. He had achieved everything he wanted. The team mobilized all their resources for him to stay in France. If you want the player who will replace him to be more comfortable, they need to give the club to him. All they did was not give Mbappé the keys to the club, the president did everything for him. When he did not want to stay, they could not force him to stay and he joined Real Madrid for free. I think Paris Saint-Germain is one of the best in the world in providing all kinds of opportunities to their players.

~snip~

Joao Neves is one of the talented midfielders that PSG has been monitoring for a long time, so when the opportunity arose to recruit him this summer course PSG did not hesitate to spend money to get him, Benfica has entered into a transfer agreement even though Joao Neves has a high release clause at the moment, but I think there is an off-screen deal that might be much more profitable for them in the future than forcing PSG to activate the release clause that Joao Neves currently has, PSG has spent almost 83 million euros at the moment to get two players (Joao Neves and Matvey Safonov), but like What you said is of course that they won't be enough to bring in two new players at this time, so it's very likely that we will see other  transfer that PSG will make, especially since at the moment they haven't found a player who is projected to replace Mbappe next season.

Benfica's production players can always steal the hearts of big teams and Joao Neves became PSG's big recruit this summer. I can't believe how Benfica can always generate hundreds of millions of euros every time the transfer season comes and PSG as a team with strong finances in France must always want to get talented players wherever they are.

Previously we also know that PSG had already brought in Goncalo Ramos and he also came from Benfica even though initially it was only a loan agreement but recently PSG has made it permanent. In addition, Joao Neves' name is included in the top 10 transfers that have been made by PSG and he is ranked 8th. I think PSG will continue to break the record for the most expensive player purchases and maybe talking about Mbappe's successor, the amount they will spend later will definitely be greater.

PSG is one of their most expensive transfers in the 2024/2025 summer transfer season. Benfica's young midfielder Neves was in the 60 million euro transfer. Of course, we will see much higher transfer fees until the transfer season ends. According to my research, the highest payments are currently between 60-65 million euros.
Although there is a 120 million euro exit clause in his contract valid until 2028, Benfica has stated that they will not force this clause in this transfer. PSG is entering a new era with the new season, the legendary squad they had previously established has already been destroyed, Mbappe has also left and they are now trying to build the team on a new system.
I think PSG should focus on transfers that will contribute to the team rather than expensive transfers. Of course, they can buy players at the prices you mentioned, but there are many missing players in the team and a team like PSG can produce its own stars. There are many young and potential players in the world and if PSG is a big team, they should find such players.

Mbappe is gone but it is not a dream to see a stronger PSG. If PSG can find players who will contribute to the team and have star potential during the transfer period, PSG, which everyone thinks is losing power, can rise again.

I would say PSG have no choice but to buy players at high prices so far. Any young player would definitely want to be with a Premier League or La Liga squad. Because La Liga and Premier League are very competitive. And since there are a lot of good teams, the experience of the players will increase. And they will get higher wages in future. But Ligue 1 is less competitive. There is no better team in Ligue 1 than PSG. This is why no player wants to start his career in Ligue 1. So if PSG wants to bring a young player into the squad, they will have to buy at high prices and pay high wages.

However, Luis Enrique is trying to build the squad without spending too much money. Perhaps he is keen to experiment with PSG's squad. As a result, PSG's overall performance will likely remain erratic next season. However, PSG management will benefit in the long run if Luis Enrique succeeds. And the PSG management will not need to spend a lot of money to buy players in the future.

Not all players will talk about money, many players also want to get the opportunity to play with their idol club, of course their mistake in maintaining Mbappe who was too ambitious so they have to regret it, but seeing everything about PSG under Enrique's guidance they are not too hasty they are really looking for players who suit them, and this is an extraordinary thing PSG this season is not like before they spent famous players and wasted money to win prestigious trophies, I see Enrique as a sedative for PSG management they are not too hasty and Enrique is also very comfortable with young players especially PSG has a good academy of course they can be utilized well by Enrique. Until now there has been no news about players transferred by PSG even though a few days ago PSG also tried to hijack Nico but it seems to have failed and Osimhen also has not been serious from PSG regarding the player, in my opinion PSG is monitoring the right player of course it is better than wasting money just for players who cannot be invited to work together for the club in the future then their fatal mistakes in the past are now being corrected, but still waiting PSG will also bring something.

Marseille are far less quality than PSG with players they have and only a coach is not enough to make their squad becomes stronger a lot to be competitive enough and be able to beat PSG.

PSG will have a transitional season without Mbappe after many years but with all star players they have, their strength is good enough to win Ligue 1 again. This is challenge but also opportunity for PSG to build up a new squad, without Mbappe, and taking this chance to get rid of too much dependence on a single star player. A new era is coming for PSG but will the succeed in Ligue 1 and continue their domination or this new era means chance for other clubs in France to challenge and beat PSG in next seasons. I am keen on a first scenario, a continuous domination of PSG in Ligue 1 because they are simply rich and can improve their squad easily.
I mean it's obvious that Marseille is a lot worse than PSG, and Monaco is also not as good as PSG neither. However, when it comes to betting, those two comes in and second and third place, most places have them at equal chances so second place so that means they are pretty good.

But that doesn't mean that we are going to end up with anything that will be too simple for PSG neither, we have seen them lose to Lille before, and this year they do not have Mbappe as well so it could totally change some stuff, we may see something changing. I am not saying that PSG will lose, because they may end up not losing at all, but I am saying that we are going to end up with something that would be possible, the possibility is there.

I sense that PSG may end up facing some issues adjusting to life without Mbappe, and they are not that great at midfield neither, so things going to be a bit troubled for them. Lets see how they are going to do, but I can see that Marseille may have a chance if they play a decent football, I am guessing that PSG will get a lot less points than they did last year, which means that if Marseille improves from their last years performance, or Monaco does, those teams may have a shot.

Seeing Marseille efforts to overhaul the squad and change managers, they have the potential to finish in the European zone next season, and it is possible that Marseille can become a tough competitor for PSG at the top of the standings. The presence of De Zerbi as a new manager has increased expectations, it seems that Marseille is really ambitious to win their 10th Ligue 1 trophy in the future, this is clearly seen from their movements in the transfer market. Last season Marseille finished in 8th place, and failed to get a ticket to any European competition. Thus, they should be able to achieve their targets more easily next season, because they only focus on domestic competitions. We are aware of PSG dominance in Ligue 1, but who knows Marseille could be like Leverkusen in the Bundesliga. In my opinion, Ligue 1 is quite boring if PSG continues to be champions.

I have no idea if Marseille is able to finish at the top of the standings in the near future, considering the strength of the team and having slumped last season. However, if we try to speculate whether Marseille is able to finish in the top four of the Liqui 1 standings, yes they have a chance to do so theoretically. As we all know, currently Marseille under De Zerbi is active in the summer transfer window. Also, there are several newcomers who will play with Marseille and have the potential to make Marseille more competitive. Talking about how much chance they have to compete with PSG, I think it's quite difficult to speculate considering that we haven't seen for sure the performance of De Zerbi's squad. Moreover, PSG has a much stronger team depth than its competitors in this competition. However, at least with Marseille being active in the summer transfer window, it opens up opportunities for Marseille to return to being a team that enters the top four of Lique 1.

To become champions, it is very difficult, because their main competitor is Paris Saint Germain who has very good strength in Ligue 1, but that doesn't mean they can't do it, they can still do it but it's very difficult. While to be in the top 4 is something easier, I don't mean to say it's easy but when compared to being champions, it's clearly easier.

Last season they finished in 8th place, whereas in the previous 7 seasons they were always able to be at least in the top 5, they could even be in 2nd place, so the decline was very much felt by Marseille. They started to improve themselves to restore their appearance which was not seen last season. They will definitely try hard to get them back to the position they usually achieve and I am also sure they will also have a target to become champions even though realistically they also think it is very difficult for them to achieve.

The opportunity to compete and break PSG dominance in winning the championship trophy may be very unlikely to happen, but to be able to end the season in the Champions League or European zone, of course they have the same opportunity as other teams in Ligue 1 at the moment, indeed Marseille has recruited several new players to face the tight competition next season, but we also cannot deny that currently Marseille is not stronger than other teams and have also improved the quality of their squad, apart from that the arrival of several new players to Marseille now will not necessarily improve the quality of the game them next season, because this season they have also lost several important players who were the mainstay of last season, so we can say that the quality and strength of the squad that Marseille has is no better than last season even though they now have de zerbi as coach, the fans hope Next season, of course, they hope that Marseille will be able to end the season better than last season considering De Zerbi expertise in building a stronger squad even with limited players so far.

Marseille seems to have given up on convincing Arsenal, because they want 35m euros for Eddie Nketiah and that makes Marseille cancel their intention to buy him. I think Marseille's offer is deadlocked and also very appropriate for a player who has not been so good since last season. But here Arsenal does look very greedy and even they are blind if Eddie Nketiah has rarely contributed so far.

With this Marseille must look for other striker options and it would be much more beneficial to spend that much money on a more promising striker with comparable statistics. I know that De Zerbi is a smart coach and it seems that it won't be long before his advice can help Marseille determine the next player to be brought in.

Eddie Nketiah without doubt is a good striker that can win you matches any day that luck shines on him but considering his performance for Arsenal in the last two seasons, we can't say he's the type of striker that should cost 35m Euros. For Arsenal to request for such amount before they can allow Nketiah leave, I think they're ready to let him go because I doubt there'll be any European club that's ready to pay such amount for a striker that behind Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz in Arsenal's pecking order. I love the fact that Marseille have decided to give up on the pursuit of the striker because of the amount of money they're being demanded to pay. There are other sharp strikers in Europe that I think will do better than Nketiah and still cost less than 25m Euros so they should scout and go for them.

I think it is a good decision taken by Marseille to cancel their desire to bring in Eddie Nketiah because they cannot fulfill Arsenal's wishes in terms of price. They must also have a limit on how much money they can spend on players and it must be based on their appearance and their overall abilities. The reason is if Marseille forces herself to fulfill the wishes of Arsenal, it is at risk for them because Eddie Netiah also does not have very good performance for Arsenal last season. Marseille can look for other players who can match the price they want because time is still there for them to do it all.
I do not know exactly what the financial condition they have, but clearly they will not have the same financial situation as the team that is the ruler of Ligue 1. So they also have to consider carefully with the money they can spend.
Well, regarding the latest developments in this news, it is said that Marseille has moved on from Eddie Nketiah and now they are closer to signing Youssoufa Moukoko from Dortmund. I think it is the right decision and the club management has moved quickly to immediately get a new striker before the season starts. Now it is up to Marseille to convince Dortmund to let Youssoufa Moukoko go.

If we look at his statistics last season, it was actually not too bad with only 5 goals in 20 matches and I think considering that Youssoufa Moukoko was not the main option for the previous coach, this can be maximized again with coach De Zerbi if he later joins Marseille. We know that Dortmund is a business club and Marseille's previous offer of 27m euros will certainly be accepted easily without any additional negotiations.
