Just as I predicted, Nantes really made a surprise against PSG. And it was a big surprise like a 3-1 victory. The entire star team was in it from PSG and still lost this week. that can happen. I don't think there's much pressure at PSG either, they know they're going to be champions anyway and that's going to happen. I don't think Neymar Messi and Mbappe are too concerned about this either. All eyes are on the Champions League, in which they have to play the return against Madrid to defend a 1-0 lead.

Sometimes something odd can happen in football that almost everyone can't really explain what happened and how it happened, maybe that's what happen to PSG, because they are not expected to loose to Nantes that are not even in the top five in the league table. Nevertheless it was a lucky day for Nantes and they took the 3-points they are now 7th in the league table. ya.ya.yo!

It's done and dusted. PSG lost to 5th placed Nantes and it's one of the most beautiful thing I've seen today. I'm sure no one expected it but it's done. I was kinda thinking that PSG would do a comeback after that early second half goal from Neymar but couldn't produce anything afterwards. PSG started poorly and paid dearly for it let's hope thru don't put up such a terrible display in the return leg against Madrid.
Apparently PSG really had to lose that match even though Neymar had opened up hope when he scored. Neymar was also awarded a penalty, but failed to convert it into a goal as his weak shot was easily read by the goalkeeper. It was another miss from the penalty spot after Messi also missed his chance in the Champions League. But at least PSG will play 2 other matches before the second leg of the Champions League begins.But PSG's poor results will not cost them the title this season as PSG still lead the Ligue 1 standings with a 13-point advantage over other competitors.

It was a really disappointing week for PSG this time. Because unexpectedly they lost to Nantes by a score like 3-1 in an away game. I wouldn't expect more than a draw for Nantes side here. But they did a huge job that's for sure. PSG had no idea what to do against Nantes' scoring three goals in the first half already. They started answering this in the second half but they shouldn't have missed the penalty. That made things worse for them and Nantes got a comfortable win. Nantes are like a nightmare for them now as they defeated them last season too.
no team is absolutely perfect, even though they have messi, neymar and mbappe, PSG can still lose from another team. PSG's defeat to Nantes made me doubt PSG's performance against Madrid on UCL later, whether they will disappoint again??

This kind of score that Nantes gave us against psg is what I have been waiting for and what I want to be seeing in that league. Psg cannot be dominating like that. Lille did it last season, another club can do it next season. Psg is a big club but they are not that unbeatable giant outside France. Also every club in England will not be afraid of psg. Last season's champion Lille currently struggling badly and now staying at 11 spot which is terrible from them and many other good clubs are also having same problem like Monaco and Lyon they fail to attract good players and having bad performance which is giving good advantage to PSG which is having A Billion USD wallet just because of very rich owner.

Saint-Etienne is moving slowly out of the relegation zone but they will face PSG next. Now when you see the result of the PSG you wonder whether someone changed the setting of the all-star team from 100% performance to 30% or something like that..
It isn't a draw nor losing with 1 goal but receiving 3 goals in the first half and just scoring 1 goal for dignity.

Nantes' Counter Attack strategy was beyond expectations they managed to score 2 goals early in the first half and this was quite a surprise for PSG because they kept pressing but their defense looked like they were fragile.
Even though it's still quite a long time and PSG Points don't really matter but for some reason I like seeing them lose in Ligue 1 Hopefully there will be a pretty cool surprise shown later until the end of the game

And the odds of Nantes winning fell sharply from 1.85 to 1.16. I think few people doubt that today they will win. A very interesting and emotional match (which is worth only a canceled red card and a penalty in the added minutes of the first half). It will be difficult for PSG to make the score more or less decent, it seems that today is not their day and it is unlikely that they will be able to reduce the difference in the score in the second half.

May this fight give more power to psg for fight against real madrid. It was very hard for them to take down nantes and it was surprising results for me. Psg had a great squad but nante's goalkeeper was better.
On the other hand it looks like Madrid will have to look at the way Nantes are playing now lol.PSG were left helpless at the Beaujoire Stadium, they dominated almost the whole match but they forgot the area of defense that was not well guarded which made Nantes always on the counter-attack and continued to excel.
3 goals in the first half for PSG is a mistake that is quite embarrassing in my opinion, even though this doesn't have much impact on their points at the top but still this will definitely be a conversation

The weirder part is that it was the three at the front that we all expected and yet they still failed. It was Neymar-Mbappe-Messi trio and yet they still ended up losing. I would expect that this trio would be able to outscore any team no matter what the defence would do.I have to say that they are definitely getting a shocking result back to back recently and not playing as well as they should and even Madrid game got a goal on the very last second and that is why that doesn't even count in my mind. I mean if they are not going to end up with anything that is getting a lot better in the near future then not only they will lose Mbappe but they will also end up with being so much worse next year.

However, Nantes made a great effort and won this one deservedly by 3-1. It was just shocking to see that they finished the first half being even 3-0 ahead. PSG tried to make a historical comeback but the missed penalty demoralized them and this was an opportunity for Nantes to secure their win. I wish Neymar didn't take it and Mbappe took it instead.
This PSG performance, all things considered, validates what was already known. The PSG that played Real Madrid is unique in relation to the one that played Nantes. Not squad difference, but rather mindset. PSG lost the match against FC Nantes that is not the issue but rather issue is Neymar missed the penalty. No matter who take, in your off day penalty can be missed. No more argument. Does such outcome make the league more competitive?It wasn't THAT big a surprise to be honest. Bookies at least didn't think so as it was something like 4x for Nantes to win. Sure, it still makes them the underdog and of course not many would see them race into 3 zero but PSG have been having slow starts all season long and this time they paid for every mistake.

Nantes can take revenge with the same score, where in the first match of the season Nantes lost 3-1 by PSG, but then in the second match of the season played last night Nantes won at home against PSG and also with a score of 3-1. Second position in standing league was very tight that Nice probably will win against Angers because the current score for that match 1-0 with Nice were lead but i think Marseille won't let it happens that they will fight for important match against Clermont and Marseille latest records were very good with 7 consecutive no loses in all competitions so Marseille also will getting 3 points too

In the game there were two people who changed the game a lot. The referee Mikael Lesage and Neymar. Lesage gave two penalties, one of which should not have been given. And he took back a red card for Dennis Appiah after the video referee's advice. But the fact that Paris didn't win the game doesn't really matter with the points lead in the league. 13 points ahead of Olympique Marseille, so no drama.
I wonder which of the penalties do you think should not have been assigned? The PSG player handballed (changed the direction of the ball) and it was an obvious penalty. The red card was also canceled after the review of the VAR so it was an informed decision. PSG lost completely on the case and don't blame Neymar, he ended up scoring one goal during the game.
