No one doubts PSG current ability to win ligue 1, with a difference of 13 points of course their position is very safe at the top, for ligue 1 this season in my opinion the tight competition only occurs in the runner-up position with several other teams who are eyeing tickets for the champions league next season, while the title race I think now has stopped for other teams in the league, seeing the PSG game against madrid yesterday, I think PSG played better and was able to suppress madrid from the start of the game, but I think we will see a revival madrid later in the second leg and maybe madrid will force PSG to end the game with extra time or a penalty.

I totally agree with you. Watching this game between Real and PSG was so much fun with all the superstars on the pitch. Finally some great soccer to watch. The only issue I see with placing all your superstars on the bench for the league games is that they can lose their rhythm. Bayern Munich almost never does that, they didn't either the last time they won the Champions League. Very rarely did Flick give a player a break, usually he sent the best team onto the pitch every game such that they blindly work together once the big games are around the corner. It has both advantages and disadvantages, with the latter primarily being about injuries and that would suck.

In recent games Lyon doing some better and Lens is losing ground due to some bad performance just because of this most chances they will drop some more points and now Lyon, Rennes and Monaco will try to catch top ranks with top two already fixed for PSG and Marseille and remaining can face some tough competition between these teams after Nice also on bad losing streak and giving points to opponents mean now pressure is building on these teams which are very important to handle in this very crucial time of season.

After worst start from Lyon and Monaco now these two are also aiming for some better results and trying their best for keeping European connection in touch, Lille is already down and out with no chance for having European connection for next season after winning this Ligue 1 in last season.

PSG played well in the first leg despite struggling to score throughout the match. I think they have a great chance this season to qualify for the quarter-finals although the reason isn't just because they won the first leg 1-0 against Real Madrid. PSG had a better game than Real Madrid and that makes me sure to say qualify.

PSG's main focus is the Champions League although I also don't think they will let the chances of winning the league title decrease. If they can secure 2 titles this season at the same time then why don't they do it, it would make sense in my opinion.
