Honestly, I started to feel like Messi just doesn't care about playing in Ligue 1 at all. He knows the players in champions league and plays accordingly and knows the systems and so forth. But he has been lackluster in ligue 1 for a long time enough to know how he should play and why he fails when he does. He is not just talented, he is of course the most talented player I have ever watched but he is also very smart as well and that is the part that I am wondering if he is just ignoring?

I mean think about it this way, if you are a player like Messi then shouldn't you be able to play and fight for a great deal of better results? You probably would learn from your mistakes and get better already.

When it comes to competitive I feel there are 2 versions of the answer for me.
1. Competitive if indeed this starts from the struggle for position 2.
2. Not when you include PSG in it.

Because being competitive feels unreal when you see the difference in points that PSG has compared to other clubs.
Putting aside about red cards and winning or losing because this is quite natural in a match but indeed we can't rule out a significant difference in points which makes this not very exciting to see about the fight for the title

Am looking at todays scores and everything is lighting up like a Christmas tree with reds cards in almost all games played today and most teams that were deemed to be favorites did not win... Is this the start of competitive league games???

The game was quite good shown by both sides in this match but indeed the red card from Mohammed Ali Cho really became a fatal loss in my opinion for Angers and this was maximized well by Lens who was able to score a goal a few minutes after Angers played with 10 people and even they can comeback pretty well after that.
I really hope Angers win this match but it's really hard to hold on to the lead with just 10 men

Yea PSG odds @1.55 wasn't bad but I want to see more since there is a risk of draw in case PSG players weren't in their best shape. Winning 3-1 was quite good from them before facing Nice next and get an opportunity to make the gap even bigger.

I really believe PSG can win the title this season more quickly because of the distance in points that other competitors can no longer catch. Mbappe has so far scored 14 goals and 10 assists, while Messi has only 2 goals and 10 assists in 16 appearances in Ligue 1. I think Messi can be top assists this season with PSG although so far he has not scored many goals. Overall Messi has scored 7 goals for PSG of which 5 of them are in the Champions League.

No doubt Mbappe is PSG's best player this season but let's not forget the contribution of Messi and Neymar and other players to him. We are closing the 26th week of the Ligue 1 with a quite competitive match. Lyon are going to be hosting Lille tonight. Lyon are favoured here by a significant odd difference now but there is not a big gap between them in the standings currently in fact. If we take this into account, I don't think that Lyon will have an easy match. Lyon are only two points ahead of Lille now. And the recent form graphs are also similar to each other. Their last head-to-head was really boring and ended by 0-0. Maybe things can be a little different but a draw is what my expectation is now.

PSG players this season have been very good in every position, they have a lot of stars and of course that scares the rivals a bit.
The match against Saint-etienne could be completely controlled by the PSG players despite being 1 goal behind in the 16th minute, but the PSG players responded very well by continuing to carry out dangerous attacks until finally being able to reply to a goal at the end of the first half scored by Mbappe.

with the 2 assists given to mbappe in yesterday's match, making me believe that messi is really needed on the front lines of PSG. currently PSG's front line is filled by a dangerous and very deadly trio. I agree with you, the current PSG coach's job is just to strengthen the back line.
