People compared Messi and Ronaldo for 10+ years now. That was a lot more during the period when they played in the same league and then kept going on. Now that they are both again in competitive teams instead of being in teams that do not compete too high, it started back up a lot once again. I believe we should be happy to watch these players and ignore which one is better.

Certainly there are "moments" in games where they both do nothing, or do stuff that could be considered a bad move and what not, the other game people talked about how Ronaldo kicked a player and was aggressive when they were losing by big time to Liverpool, now Messi not moving for 2 seconds, all these drop nothing from their legends.

as you said, there are lots of pictures or indeed various kinds of memes which are like comparing these players as if they are enemies and this is what makes their fans ridicule and insult each other Cheesy

indeed for messi and ronaldo and for all players especially, the age factor definitely affects his performance and on the other hand actually these players can actually be said to be still good at a young age they can still show football at a different level.
everyone is too focused on messi who is always on fire even though the player's performance will not always be like that and it could be that he is now in a condition that is indeed very difficult to explain because the support the players did when he was at PSG and at Barcelona was certainly different and messi has to adapt to that

Rule one of social media is that don't get triggered by everything you see over there. There are a lot of factors working behind him staying still for that specific time. Maybe he was not thinking like us, or else all of us would be Messi, right? Another thing is as you said, it's his style. Stay still for a sec and then burst forward,. And he's somewhat dealing with injuries and stuff and he has also aged. All of this accumulatively made him stand still for those 'specific' seconds.

Has it ever been otherwise? I try to read only clean information, everything else is a debate between fanboys and haters, sometimes it's something funny (like memes), but mostly it's boring swearing. I am sure that such big names as Messi will cause controversy even with zero news stories for a very long time.

Psg started the season the best way they can and they deserve the current situation, they surly dont want to repeat the past season scenario since they lost alots of points, the battle for champions league zone will surly be the most important thing in the ligue 1 this year and i wonder if Marseille can continue that way till the end of the season and get a champions league spot

@Prince Malik it would have been a shocker had PSG not been leading at this stage, because they have assembled a rich talented squad at their disposal. Also I doubt that now they’ll lose the title and if they have a dip in their form and lose then this will reflect very poorly on Pochettino CV.

Besides PSG, it was a really great week for Marseille and Nice. Because Lens lost to Lyon away by 2-1 while Marseille were defeating Clermont by 1-0 away and Nice were defeating Angers by 2-1 away. After these results the current look of the positions of these teams is like this:

2. Nice - 23 points
3. Marseille - 22 points
4. Lens - 21 points

PSG are already far ahead of these teams as they have 31 points now. I think that we can say already like they will win the title in this season. They totally deserve it by their big effort and the results they have gotten so far.

Surely it's burden on PSG, but now he is under their contact, and they have to respect this even he is injured, and it's taking some long time, but they can't terminate his contact because if they will do this then still they have to pay for his treatment and some other dues as well it's all added in contact when they sign player even he was free.

If they want to terminate his contact then surely they need to check all clause and rules about this I am feeling he is not going to play for PSG in this season and going to be out until next season because age factor is also having some impact on him, and he spent some long time in Real Madrid so right now PSG have to facet his all until they have end of his contact or any other mutual understanding about him and his health.

Ramos has suffered a lengthy injury and has missed several PSG games in Ligue 1 as well as the Champions League. I think PSG don't think too much about Ramos' absence for so long because at the moment they still have enough defenders in stock. PSG has so far collected 31 point from 12 match with 10 wins, 1 draw and 1 defeat. Not bad, but people want them to win 100% which is hard to achieve when other team are playing well enough. I was just wondering why Messi couldn't score in Ligue 1 while he was able to score 3 goals in 3 Champions League match for PSG.

Ramos is never likely to play for the club due to his chronic injuries, they've admitted the transfer was a mistake. Whatever the situation is, they need to find a solution to it, either by being patient with him until he's ready to play or by terminating his contract and letting him go somewhere else.
