I expect a very even game today. Touluse is a pretty good team, they pose a threat to any opponent in their stadium. Nantes fought bravely to stay at Ligue 1 at the end of the season and were really close to that after 4 wins in a row. Usually a lot of goals are scored in matches both teams and I hope that the stake of the match will not make it any different today. I bet over 2.5 goals

It's great, I didn't check that but with these big clean sheets it is fitting that Lille get the Ligue 1 title and congratulations to Lille. I bet almost all the matches in the last round but unfortunately, the bets made were like reckless bets that I did and I suffered a loss even though indeed, for the match between Lille and PSG yesterday I was pretty sure they would win and still the champion was Lille.
It's incredible really, when you've got Lyon, Monaco, PSG in your league, and you ca keep more than half clean sheets. Total shutouts are getting harder to do I think in the modern game and especially in this damn Corona season I think he did really really well. Totally deserved and I hope they challenge again next season.

If Lyon managed to beat Nice home, then they were going to promote to the CL qualification. Lyon were actually 2-1 ahead against them and I thought that they would win the game. After the games finished, I checked the results and it was really shocking to see that they lost 2-3. It was a huge opportunity as Monaco drew with Lens 0-0 but they couldn't benefit from it.

The trophy of the 2020/21 season title has made Lille successfully decide PSG's dominance in ligue 1 so far, we know that in the last 3 years PSG has dominated by winning the Ligue 1 trophy and of course with Lille's success in Ligue 1 this year has become the fourth trophy so far Lille history, so it is only natural that their fans should be euphoric to show their joy because their team won even though they did not have strong financial support but it is quite unfortunate if this euphoria makes them forget about the pandemic that is currently still hitting the world, especially if we know that France is one of the countries that has quite a lot of victims who died, which is more than 100K people.

I almost completely overlooked the last day in French league! Missed all the drama and just saw PSG have nothing to show for this season except the cup. Tuchel will be happier with Chelsea maybe and poor Poch will likely be blamed for losing the title. Well done to Lille! Their keeper also had 23 clean sheets AMAZING.
I think it was really obvious that Lille weren't going to make a huge mistake as the Ligue 1 title was at stake. Angers had nothing left to do in the league so this was an ordinary game for them. Lille started the game very strongly and finished the job. Burak Yilmaz scored again and he was amazing the whole season. He scored 16 goals and made 5 assists in this season.
Congrats, Lille! They totally deserved this title.
You never know mate, it is sports and I have seen teams who lose at the last second as well. This year it wasn't like that, Lille was at the top and won and ATM was at the top and they won La Liga as well, Besiktas was at the top and won the Turkish super league. However last second stuff do happen, look at Chelsea for example who lost the third spot on the very last game, and interestingly they do lose a quite good sum of money as well from FA as well because teams get money depending on where they finish the league. So long story short we are talking about something that would be understandable if Lille lost, would be a huge upset but it would be totally understandable and did happened before. Congrats, Lille! They totally deserved this title.

@acquafredda congratulations to Lille they definitely deserved the title, but I sincerely doubt that next season they’ll be able to hold on to it. Furthermore do you’ll expect PSG to sell few player’s and change their team, because this team clearly lacks the balance required to win the titles.
Psg lost the title because they also had to fight until the final stages of the Champions League while Lille was eliminated a bit earlier from the Europa League.Of course Lille completely deserved the title as they were the most consistent team and they also won their direct match against Psg which basically gave them the title.I also agree that when you have a lot of good players is difficult to find a good balance between them so I think Psg can afford to sell some of them and try to build on the remaining ones a team like the one they won many consecutive Ligue 1 titles as of lately.

Why not ? That'd be very unfair to say they don't deserve the league, but it's your opinion and you're entitled to it.
Statistically they had the best defence in the league, conceded just 23 goals over the course of the 38 games, they lost just 3 matches as well, that's at least 3 losses lesser than their closest rival, I don't know what else could be considered consistency for a team that doesn't have billions to invest in players or what else could have been done for the league to be more deserving, either ways that doesn't matter now, does it ?
I agree with you, LOSC Lille has not the same budget as PSG, as far as I know they only have 147 million Euros of yearly budget which is 4 times less than the one of Paris(640 million Euros). So yes it's a big difference between the two teams but PSG had to play matches of the Champions League and of the French Cup during the Ligue 1 championship while LOSC has been eliminated at the Round of 16 of the French Cup beaten 3-0 by PSG. Something was even more of a shock to me yesterday, I thought the last time Lille won a league was like 70 years ago, but apparently there was one just in 2010 and before that it was 70 years that true. Lille wasn't really on the map when the league started, everyone was expecting PSG to dominate big time, they were the finalist of champions league last year and didn't have too much change in the team and now obviously it would have been a wise decision to bet on them winning the league this year as well.Obviously PSG was too focused on other topics, Neymar, the Champions League, the coach ... and during that time they lost the French championship.

Looking at the result it was a tough situation, let's be honest the championship was decided on the very last game so we can't say it was an easy championship for lille neither, the game was also very close as well just a 2-1 win from Lille and it was 2-0 all game, if Angers scored their goal earlier there could have been trouble.
So, it is a very hard fought, very difficult, very tough championship that Lille won and they deserve all the happiness they have. As a non-french person from another nation I am happy to see such an unexpected result, it made the league more fun to watch for me.
