We had a great game yesterday: PSG 2 -1 Lyon. PSG were being favored against Lyon of course. We watched the Messi - Neymar - Mbappe trio in this game too. This time, Mbappe was the centre-forward and Neymar was the left winger again. But Messi didn't play as a winger. We watched him right behind Mbappe like the old times as he was playing in that position at Barcelona. But unfortunately, Messi didn't make any assist or score a goal. And he was not happy to be replaced by Hakimi in the 76th minute. PSG still managed to win this by Icardi's goal in the last minutes.
No player is thrilled with a substitution, especially the likes of Messi, but that doesn't mean disrespect for the coach. He has done the same with Guardiola and Enrique in the past. This attitude can have a negative impact on the atmosphere in the team, and I wouldn't be surprised if the coach gets fired at the end of the season.
I don't know if this attitude can cause Pochettino to get sacked. But Messi was already performing poorly before being replaced by another player. So I didn't understand Messi's attitude against Pochettino actually. He still isn't accustomed to PSG's game plan so he is struggling a lot. After playing with a totally different system for so many years at Barcelona, it won't be easy for him to fit the team either.

PSG continue to win their league matches one by one even though the deadly trio is not ready yet because of Messi's adaptation problems. But it is totally normal of course. Because there are not many strong clubs in this league to put up a really good fight against a team like PSG. I think that PSG will win the league title by a huge gap. Teams like Monaco, Lille and Lyon are struggling this season. Marseille can be the second at the end of the season as they are doing quite good lately.

Monaco have a home match against St. Etienne tomorrow evening. They still have a terrible form now but St. Etienne are also no different than them. This can be seen as a golden opportunity for Monaco to get their second win in this season. Monaco drew with their opponent by 2-2 in the last season here but I hope to see them winning this time. PSG didn't have their best performance against Lyon because Messi still hasn't adapted to the team. If I'm not wrong, it was only his second game in the starting eleven. Messi already knew that he would need to adapt to a totally different game plan here. He is trying but it will take some time. When he is bad, the team is also affected in the same way. Lyon would have got one point in this game and it wouldn't be surprising. But Icardi saved the team.

Messii reaction and conduct is unprofessional after being substituted, he is not used to that kind of decision because of he is highly influencial in Barcelona, pochi did the right thing afterall PSG eventually won the match that means the tactical changes made by the manager in replacing Messi for hikimi was very effective because Messi was not having any impact in the match again, infact French local media had criticized him for his unprofessional conduct after being replaced, although there is much pressure on him to deliver as soon as possible for PSG
If there's one thing that can derail the PSG super-team this season, it's failing to integrate Messi into the team. It may not matter much if they implode in the French league, they have very few challengers there... but they can't afford disharmony when they come up against the top teams in the Champions League.

I think in that match messi played quite well and was able to create lots of chances , but unfortunately some golden opportunities couldn't be converted into goals so they were just wasted, I was also surprised by messi exit in the 76th minute, but I think the coach knows better what the team needed at that time so that messi shouldn't have to protest against Pochettino's decision, after all, after the match was finished, Pochettino had revealed the reason for messi substitution was to protect him from possible injury because in fact messi had not fully adapted to the French league style of play.

As far as I remember, during the whole match he had only two really good chances, not many. I watched the game and when he was playing he was doing awesome stuff but his teammates do not know what to do when he is doing all those awesome stuff, in Barcelona players were used to watching messi do great stuff but they knew what their role was during the same period as well, in PSG others do not know and suddenly start watching him do great things while forgetting to play, they are too used to being a team and not messis team.
This will keep on hurting the team a lot if they keep this up, either fit messi into the team or if you really want to fit the team into messi but find a way to get together. If possessions are all "messi scores, or team scores" then they are going to keep being bad in the long run.

Last year's champion Lille is in a very bad shape this year. They are in the 15th place in the league with 5 points collected in 6 games. They lost to Lens in the last match. Marseille is doing well this year. They are in second place with 13 points from 5 games. Paris SG, on the other hand, managed to win the difficult Lyon match. 90+3. In the second minute, Icardi brought the win to Paris. Messi has yet to show himself fully.

PSG played a really tough game against Lyon last night but they still managed to be victorious by 2-1. Lyon are worse than the last season now. They are having a big difficulty to gain their usual performance again. But still they put up a good fight against PSG in this game. Messi still seemed like not adapted to the team and the league. PSG barely won the game thanks to Icardi's goal in the last moments. They have a 6-win streak in the league but the real problem is the CL. They should be much better than this.
Yes not the best beginning of the season for psg in the champions league despite the winning in ligue 1 they are still not performing that well especially in the defensive side as for messi he need more time because in barcelona they did not have many influencing players so their play evolved around him but now with psg many stars it seem difficult for him to shine since many of them are doing good especially mbappe.
