Xavi Hernandez got fired because the club's president, Joan Laporta was fed up with the numerous poor stats this season, he had no other optio than surf another option. Wonderkids are probably the ultimate target for these elite clubs. Barcelona are grooming players for the future, such a good work they're doing. Lamine Yamal have played a major role in both country and club football. He's not relenting and show up when the club wants him. Barcelona will not released one of their top potential youngster, he's the future of the club and have been a key part of the team's project. Consequently, Barcelona new coach, Hansi Flick will make more promising opportunities for the club.
The thing is that Koeman did not play any decent la masia graduates, whereas Xavi did, and we are going to see if Flick will find any new ones as well, I doubt that. So, Xavi is the only reason why they are capable of getting good players from the youth setup and they got rid of him all the same. Also, if Laporte can get fed up with bad stats and fire a manager, who is there to fire Laporte? Because to be fair to fans, nobody wants him there anymore and he should leave and someone else should be there. If I had the right, I would have kept Xavi, and instead got a better president for the team.
The reality is that if you switch Laporte and Perez, then Barcelona would be a team with a lot of money, a big cap space, a lot more titles and Real would suck even more than Barcelona is right now. The only difference both clubs right now is the presidents and yet the players can be sold or not resigned, the manager could be fired, and yet Laporte always stays anyway.
